Decided to drive my car till scrape day, the dilemma now is I have a few parts that require changing. Engine mount worn Suspension bushing worn Shock absorber worn My mileage will be high from now till scrap, should l just spend that thousands or just live with it? -
y must these ppl block the left turn filter lane! because of u, supposedly i can turn but u blocked the lane as u have an imaginary car stopped in front of u. horn and horn u no action. in the end i waited for the traffic light for nothing! many drivers love to keep 1 car length at traffic lights.. Whtsup with u guys!

This morning traffic was slow at PIE toward Jurong at the exit to Toa Payoh. Saw this red vios making an illegal left turn at the traffic junction after Kim Keat link. I noticed that some drivers would choose to make an illegal left turn at this junction whenever there was a jam at the slip road leading to Toa Payoh Lor 6. Their move are endanger to other road users, as there are pedestrians crossing the road at that time & they may not expected cars making an left turn.

Hi, I just received a letter from LTA for an offence of driving in bus lane during prohibited hours. I still remember what happened and it is ridiculous for them to fine me for this! May I know how I can go about writing in an appeal? The incident happened on 6th Jan at around 6pm+. I was travelling on Jurong Town Hall Road towards AYE direction. There was 3 lanes and in order to turn left towards IMM direction, I need to keep to the left lane. However, it was during peak hour and the left lane was jam. Therefore, I queue up in the left lane behind the jam waiting to turn left. At the point of time, my car had to be behind the Yellow Dotted area and just at the end of the Yellow Solid Line. I think the Dotted Line was only 10metres long? I did notice the Warden but wasn't expecting him to capture my car (there was no flash either) since it was not on purpose. Also, after a few seconds there were a couple of cars came and joint behind mine. Fyi, I had my Left Signal Light on before switching to the left lane and until I turned turn. If LTA consider this as an offence, does it mean for my situation, I have to jam brake in the middle lane and wait until the left lane (yellow dotted line area) is clear then I can cut in?? And if thats the way, I will be causing the middle lane to jam too.

Hi, if anybody was driving along boon lay way last night at around 2320hrs around the junction of jurong town hall road and saw a red getz making a right turn and swerving left and right, sorry, that was me. i had a puncture on my rear right tyre as i scrapped the curb while turning. sorry to those that i may have affected. (didn't notice if anybody high beam or horn as i was controlling the tank slapper on my car)

hi guys, apologies if i am posting in the wrong section. need your advice here please. my ride's front right tyre goes 'thinner' than the front left. i just changed my front tyres to Bridgestone's RE001 and i'm worried that the same thing will happen again if i don't at least have an idea what is wrong.. can you guys help enlighten and point me in the right direction for help please? Hey all, I'm looking for COE car, maybe 1997 to 1999, that is left with 4-5 years COE to drive around, until 20 yrs old. This is for my FIL to use. So no high expectation, as long as the car is in good working order. Small cc engine will do, 1.0 cc to 1.4 cc. I'm not sure what car models are left in the market with my requirements. I'm thinking of Nissan March 1.0 cc. Any other model I can consider? If you have one to let go, PM me. If u know any car dealer who has this kind of COE car, let me know as well. Is Nissan March a reliable car???

Brudders of MCF, This morning I took a Sonata cab to work. The ride was quite bumpy with hard acceleration and hard braking...and then I discovered that the cabbie was actually using his left foot to accelrate and brake. To do this, he was sitting slightly pointing towards the right and was using the left leg to accelerate and decelerate the car? I was thinking possibly he has hurt his right leg and hence using his left leg to operate the cab, eventhough I think its really unsafe to do so. My question is - have anyone of you tried driving the car this way? It is impossible to drive a manual tranny this way, but auto car is possible as I found out today? Any experiences that u wish to share? Regards

Hi bros, Need help gettin left sided mirror for honda jazz 1.4 GD1 2007. Damaged it this mornin.. Not sure if can get it fix so lookin a new or 2nd hand item. Gettin it from kah motor is quite ex so lookin for other alternatives. Would appreciate any suggestions or recommendations of any workshops. Gettin an aftermarket item is another option.. Tks.

I have been using this exit to ECP every morning, this is opposite the Esso station, The slip road is wide enough for 2 cars abreast though it's a single lane. No problem even with buses. Thus I feedback in early april to raise this concern of heavy usage during the morning peak hours. I have observed those that used this lane daily will understand how others will drive, however, those that may not be familiar to this stretch will not realise some drivers will just also drive from right lane to the left slip road and requested a widen slip road to officially make this into a two lane slip road like Lornie road, Marine Parade road to ECP etc. LTA has replied on the 9 May to inform they will widen the road to improve a better traffic flow in a more regulated manner. Do you all agree with such changes?

Last night when I was returning home, notice a toyota car door was left ajar with lights on. After I finish parking another 2 lvl up and walk down, I still see the car door left ajar. Seeing noone around the car or lvl. I did what a good citizen should do. Call police to inform them on this incident. Let the police come and check and contact the blur owner. Hope that the owner of the toyota car was not wipe clean of his valuables in the car... For Bros out there, if you encounter such sitituation same as well. Would you do the same of calling the cops or ignore or just help to close the door and walk off?

Yesterday, at my office building, i was waiting to take the elevator down to first level. With me, there are 2 other PRC people waiting together. The elevator came, door opened and we entered the elevator. Inside the elevator, there were 4 other PRC people, coming down from higher levels. As the elevator was making its way down to first level, suddenly I felt so left out in the elevator. The 4 PRC ppl were talking among themselves (i assume they are colleagues from same office). And the other 2 PRC ppl were talking to each other. I felt so alien, so lonely in the elevator, and I'm in SG, not in China....... Then I realised that SG is no longer the same. With 1/3 of SG population are foreigners and 1/2 of newly created jobs go to these foreigners, I cannot imagine what is going to happen in the next 5 years. While i was in the elevator, the feeling to quickly get out of the elevator and i was hoping that the elevator will quickly travel even faster to the 1st level, was so great..... I felt sick in my stomach..... So people in this forum, look ard what is happening in SG, and what our garment is doing to this country.....

For all those arguing that heavy vehicles are allowed to speed and keep on Lanes 1 and 2 of the expressway, well... here's video proof that the Traffic Police DO NOT think so: So.. all you truckers and vans with speed limit =< 70kph ... please KEEP LEFT when you are on expressways...
