Today was heading straight after traffic light at cross junction turns green...i jam accel first on the 2 way lane in front...i was on first lane. The legacy is on 2nd lane and in front of it..there's lorry stopped at the 2nd lane. After i moved for 2 second...this legacy flew past me and overtake me....wahz...just wanna kw how fast is the legacy...

Finally. I booked my Legacy 2.0R yesterday.

Will prob make the booking this weekend. Test-drove the car last Saturday and compared it to the Alfa 156 JTS. Preferred the Legacy GT much more. Any pointers on what to look-out for when making a booking? What can car-dealers usually bundle with the car?

Hi, Can someone please enlighten me on the diff between Legacy 2.0(A) Legacy 2.0(A)- MI Legacy 2.0(A) R Price diff is a few thousand and I also notice the R model can do century sprint 1-2 second faster. I know about legacy GT .. too bad its not within my reach Thanks a million

Saw another thread about Euro R being 95+k. And currently the GT is 108.5k (havent factor the 2-3k discount yet) I'm actually comparing the 2 cars above. I know that one is AWD and the other is not. Any others in comparison, in terms of - performance - passenger space (like leg room) - boot space - insurance costs(one is a Honda and the other Turbo) - interior (i've not seen the R yet..but know GT has Mcintosh, opitron meters, electric adjust driver seats, front dual+curtain airbags) - sunroof? - maintenance cost/issues - any others? Price difference of about 10k, which is actually more worth the $$$?

Hi, did anyone test drive the above car ? At 87K with COE, seems like a good buy. This 2.0L is packed with 163 bhp. The only bad thing is that the AT version has only 4 speed instead of the more popular 5 speed. Plus I guess only 2 airbags and no electric driver's seat. But I think the handling should be good since it's an AWD car. But then again, FC could suffer as a result of AWD. Anyone knows of any local magazines that has done a review on the car? Thanks.

Dear all, the SOHC 138bhp engine in the Legacy will be replaced with a new 2.0L 165bhp unit according to CarBuyer newsletter. My question is: is this new engine the 2.0 DOHC 16V AVCS unit?

Read CarBuyer. Says that MI will be replacing the current 138HP legacy with a 165HP one (new engine)in Oct/Nov 05. At that BHP, its equivalent to a Mazda6 2.3 L which is stated to have 166 HP. Sounds interesting.

Hi bros, how would you rate the 4 cars above? dun want to look for the usual camrys and cefiros. already see too many on the roads. looking for something different. considerations would be space with good handling and drivability. JDM accord though looks sporty but space at the back abit cramp like a 1.6. Thanks

Hmmm...Dunno why, but after having gotten the Legacy GT, seem to be having extraveneous encounters with racers: Encounter #1 Just last night, when I was driving home with my wife from Corrinne May's concert at the Esplanade, along AYE towards Jurong. Was on the 1st lane when I spotted 2 bright blue-beams in my rear-view mirror coming fast, overtaking vehicles like Daytona. I couldn't immediately move to the 2nd lane, cos got vehicle there and in front of me was a Merc. So watched for a while as he approached. Was a previous-gen Toyota Corona and then he tried some maneuvering stunts from the left to overtake. But in the end, he also couldn't get round cos lanes on left were all full. Eventually, I managed to siam to the left and he just roared down the 1st lane, with a Honda hatchback close behind his heels, tailing him at only 1m away!! Those jokers were racing on expressway like Sepang. Can't believe how some chaps could disregard safety of people's lives around them just to satisfy their own ego-trips, or settle their own personal vendettas. Oh well. But having said that, the chap didn't flash me from the rear, though I saw him doing that to other cars before his approach. Maybe he had some "respect" for the LGT as a car afterall... Encounter #2 Actually, had another encounter on my 3rd day I got my LGT. Was on 25th Dec and in Orchard Road, together with my wife and parents fresh from a Christmas lunch. Upon turning left past California Gym, suddenly heard the sound of an exhaust like a Harley. Lo and behold, before me was a yellow Pagani Zonda at the lights, revving his engine like it was about to race. I stopped beside it and spotted a young chap inside. The youngster inside must have felt threatened with a LGT beside it, cos he gave me a glare and continued with an even more extensive revving spree (must have burnt up a lot of fuel in the process). He was obviously trying to attract attention. Everyone round Orchard Road was staring at our direction - heh, I wonder if they were looking at my new LGT or his noisy Pagani. My parents all shook their heads at the youngster in the car, citing how this chap had an ego larger than his car. In the end, it took off with a loud high-pitched roar. But IMHO, it didn't seem to have the launching power behind it for such a loud car, or it could be the driver...Like it took a mighty lot of revs to even move the car that much.

How do you guys rate this car? Seriously... Best bang for the buck in terms of pricing and power... but is the interior build quality up to par? Its a tad bit noisy when I tested it. Do you guys think so? I noticed a lil turbo lag as well when the engine speed is below 2,000rpm thereabouts.

Yo brothers & sisters, Interested in the new Legacy 2.0GT, only drawn back today is that the resales value is low Any comments? Get from MI or PI better for the above ride? Thx!
