went for servicing. collected the car. went pump petrol. than realized petrol leaking.... still dono if its the fault of CNC since it only leaks immediately after my servicing. sent the car back 2 days ago, until now not much update. they suggest to open up the whole petrol area assembly to check if it is internal leaking as the all the tubes seems ok. will cost me $200 just for inspection! parts replacement if foc a not still dono as my warranty expired in April. CNC say will help to check with Kia if they allow FOC parts since only two months expiry of warranty.. praying hard... sian...

Drove from Genting Highland to Singapore for last Monday. Was quite slow and careful when driving down the slope as it was first time. At highway, drove around 110 to 120 kmh, max 130kmh as bearing in mind my whole family in car. Take a short break at ayer keroh. From Genting carpark to 2nd link custom took me about 5 hours. How about you guys? -
I have not consumed such drugs so I don't know if they promote creativity.

Dear members, Some may have been looking for the thread which I posted on my encounter with Car Link but could not find it. Mr Yeo, the boss of Car Link Enterprise had contacted me yesterday and we have reached an amicable solution which both of us are happy with. Therefore, I requested our kind moderator to assist and remove the thread as that is the promise I gave Mr Yeo as well. I thought I should clarify and update the forum members as you all have been so supportive of this thread and providing me with endless constructive advices on how to tackle the issue. What happen was Mr Yeo, the boss of Car Link Enterprise finally talked to me and explained that he was actually away in China during the last 2 weeks and thus was unreachable. The only point of contact I had was with Andy, the sales person that sold the car to me. According to Mr Yew, his sales representatives could not make a decision to replace a brand new compartment for me and they have exhausted all channels and means to find a 2nd hand replacement from scrap yard and export contacts. Mr Yeo informed that he has actually tried his best to source the compartment by calling up all his contacts however, they simply could not find a replacement set. Now Mr Yeo is kind enough to offer me a brand new replacement of the front compartment which he has promised to place order with the authorised agent. I offer to co-share the cost of the new compartment as I told him that I am only expecting a 2nd hand set as I understand my car is 2nd hand and I do not mind to co-share. (I will update further on the co-share once we settle the whole replacement). On my end, as I always maintain my stand, I am only concern and chasing for a solution to the faulty front compartment as it has caused a lot of inconvenience to me. As long as the car dealer offers me a solution to fix the compartment, I am more than happy. The reason why me and maybe many others resort to using forum to spread our experiences is because we want to share our bad encounters. If we could not do justice to ourselves, at least we don't want others to be in the same plight as us right? I had requested for Mr Yeo's contact number from Andy on numerous occasions, but maybe the company's has certain protocols and thus, I was always decline and until yesterday, the only point of contact I had was with Andy, until Mr Yeo, the boss of Car Link called me. I would like to stress that I am not here to tarnish the reputation of Car Link Enterprise or any other dealers had a resolution been reach earlier than now. I am happy that Car Link has finally contacted me and offer me a solid resolution this round to resolve this issue and I believe they will honour their words. Mr Yeo and myself acknowledged that had we contacted each other earlier, a lot of misunderstanding could be avoided and he stressed that he is here to resolve issue and not create new issues which does not benefit any parties at the end of the day. Therefore, he offer to replace a brand new set of compartment for me free of charge which I counter his offer by opting for co-share as they still have a business to run. I sincerely thanks Mr Yeo and Andy of Car Link Enterprise for offering me a solution to fix my car compartment and I look forward to the progress. Also, I like to thanks all forum members for your contributions and views to my thread and I respect every comment and single opinions made. I shall update the thread on my fix once Car Link get back to me. Best Regards,

Dear car owners and potential car owners, Just to share my personal bad experience with all of you. I recently purchased my car from CAR LINK ENTERPRISE C2 located at Turf City. The unit is C2. Upon viewing of the vehicle, the front compartment lock came off at the first instance when I open the compartment. The sales person by the name of ANDY immediately told me they will send it for repair and ensure that the lock is fix upon collection of my vehicle. I took his words since they are doing a business and would not want to tarnish their reputation over a car compartment issue. I paid a deposit and cleared all the paper works and drove off the vehicle. On that very SAME day, while I tried to open the compartment, the locked came off again! I realised that CAR LINK had simply use some glue to stick back the lock and hand the vehicle over to me. I was shocked by their dishonest behaviour and immediately called up Andy to ask him why the device is still not fix. He told me that this is due to wear and tear and is unavoidable! He then refer me to a workshop at woodlands and when the mechanic saw me, he said immediately that if the issue is regarding the COMPARTMENT lock, please don't bother to come because it is BEYOND repair! I ask him how could he say that when Andy the sales person from Car Link Enterprise refer me here. He told me he was the one that service the vehicle and the lock issue is a KNOWN issue all along and there is nothing he can do. I will have to call back ANDY to resolve this because the only way is to REPLACE THE ENTIRE COMPARTMENT WHICH COST $500-600! I was really fuming because I took time off from work and travel to woodlands only to know that is a waste trip and ANDY is simply trying to waste time on the issue! I immediately call him and ask him why a businessman like him with a big shop want to cheat on such issues and his irresponsible words really shock me and I ask him if he is going to be responsible for this issue and he said that he will check with his BOSS and call me back. The call never come from him. I called Andy almost every alternate day and he will always repeat the same words "I NOT SURE, I NEED TO CHECK WITH BOSS. ... BOSS HAS NOT GET BACK TO ME.... It has been more than 2 weeks and he is still using the same delay tactic to shun away my problem. I told him that we are just car buyers and you are opening a business here. This kind of unethical approach is really lousy and dishonest! I told him if he is going to drag this matter, there is nothing I can do except to warn fellow buyers NOT TO FALL INTO THIS TRAP and shun away from CAR LINK. Until now I still have not hear anything from CAR LINK ENTERPRISE C2 on the compensation of my compartment lock. If they decide to play punk and avoid me, there is nothing I can do except to educate and keep fellow buyers aware of their UNETHICAL APPROACH IN DOING BUSINESS. Attached is the shop photo which I personally went down and took. Pls note that this thread is meant to warn and share with fellow buyers not to patronise this dishonest car dealer and I welcome CAR LINK ENTREPRISE to response and challenge my thread if you are gentleman enough although I don't pin any hope. Hi Bros, I am actually looking to replace my year 06 car with a year 08 or 09 2nd hand auto car, but there are so many different registered date cars for me to compare... Really headache at first... Now I just basically look at the monthly installment and the registered year, but again.... I found that nowaday 2nd hand car price are really at very high side.. Example : 1) Honda Fit 08 - 09 approxi $750 to $850 per mth New Fit installment roughly around $900 per mth. 2) Kia Cerato Forte 09 - 10 approxi $770 to $830 per mth New Forte ( 6 speed Auto ) roughly around $860 per mth. 3) Toyota Vios 08 - 09 approxi $750 to $850 per mth New Classic Vios roughly around $900 Really dunno how this year 08 to 09 car which is supposed monthly installment to be around $500 to $650 went up $200. Any one know how this 2nd hand cars price link with new cars price ?

Have search posts but couldn't find any related topics on my queries hence decided to post a new one. Currently am driving a 220k km WIRA 1.3, from 1996, which majority of the components are from Mitsubishi. Recently have encountered an intermittent problem. The issue is related to the throttle response. Let me describe further below, and hopes anyone who encountered this issue can advised me. Sometimes during light acceleration, when stepping on the accelerator, there is no response (ie doesn't feel power at all), then seconds later, the response came back, and it is like a sudden kick in of the acceleration. Not due to air-conditioning. There were times when maintaining constant accelerator pressure, the acceleration suddenly kicks back and then resume again (something like a newbie disengage the clutch abruptly). Then at times it can be driven smoothly with light accelerator depressing pressure. I have encountered this issue with an EG civic before, but the car was scrapped soon after. I am not sure if this is an issue with high mileage car. But this issue can be really a pain when driving the car in slow traffic because the acceleration isn't smooth at all...

Dear Bros, I was involved in an accident some time back at Bukit Timah Link, the curve upslope road leading to PIE on the right. Right now the accident is coming back to haunt me via court hearings and etc... So I just need to find out a couple of things but it would be abit hard to stop along that stretch. Hence, Just want to check if anyone knows if there are any street cameras along that stretch of road? And How do I go about obtaining a copy of the video from TP if there is a camera taking that stretch? Accident happened in 2009. Many thanks in advance!!

I was among those caught by a traffic jam along that road at around 6.00pm. Both Lane 1 and Lane 2 occupied by damaged cars. Lane 1 chain collission and Lane 2 chain collision in parallel almost exact duplicate. I believe there was no casualty, just more business for tow-truck businesses. Anyone of you involved?

Saw this accident at around 11:30am at junction of Eunos link and Kaki Bukit Ave 2. A corona (1993 model) with front damage in the center of the junction. The Evo was on the traffic light pathment wraping around the lamp post on driver side. the EVO is definitely total. No sure how is the driver for the EVO. I know I don't have a photo as I was driving alone.

Am thinking of driving into Malaysia during school holidays But it coincides with the Hari Raya holidays, so am worried about traffic at the causeway/2nd link any guys with previous experience driving during Hari Raya itself? Hari Raya is Friday , so how is traffic on: 1) Thursday (Eve of Hari Raya) - is there heavy traffic of people going to/from Malaysia to celebrate? 2) Friday (Hari Raya Public Holiday) - I guess it should be super jammed with locals going JB 3) Saturday (2nd day of Hari Raya) - is there many malaysian cars coming over Singapore to visit relatives? also wondering will the Malaysian customs be very slow because all the Malay immigration officers on holiday? all feedback will be appreciated -

Hi guys i have a question. Can i pay parking fees, ERP with a EZ link which is link to GIRO on the new IU unit ?? Coz i experience b4 when i slot my EZlink into my IU , it cant exit the carpark even thou the amount in my card is stated in the IU. Any idea why ???
