Dog dead after groomer left it in car boot and told owner it was stolen The dog that was returned on the brink of death to STOMPer Katherine by a groomer was not stolen like the latter had told its owner. The pooch had been locked in the groomer's car boot and is now dead. In an earlier report yesterday (Jun 11), Katherine had left Brownie with dog groomer World of Pets, only to be told it had been stolen from his car just half an hour later. He said he left the dog by the car for just five to 10 minutes and returned to find that someone had taken the pooch. Female staff from World Of Pets telling Katherine that Brownie was seen being taken away A few hours later, Katherine spotted the groomer running across the street while carrying Brownie, and realised that the dog had been left in the rear compartment of the groomer's car and forgotten. Its internal organs were blocked and its belly was bloated. Brownie was taken to an animal hospital, where it died a few hours later despite efforts to save it. In an email to STOMP today (Jun 12), Katherine wrote: Hi, my dog has passed away. "I have attached a screenshot of a staff member from the groomer conveniently lying through her teeth that someone saw the dog being stolen when it was being locked in the boot of their car the whole time. "The first vet I brought my dog to said it was suffering from heat stroke as temperatures rose to as high as 40 degrees Celsius. "The bleeding was caused by a burst vessel. Its liver and kidneys stopped functioning too. "AVA is currently doing an official post-mortem." Only fools think that all animals groomers, pets owners and handlers are animals lovers. -

The 'breast-slapping' treatment consists of six ten-minute sessions, and involves kneading, massaging and slapping the breast area. Khemmikka Na Songkla, 44, Thailand's sole licenced practitioner of the art, told the Bangkok Post that this helps shift fat from one area to another and works excess fat towards the breasts. Better known to her customers as Khunying Tobnom, she has been practising this traditional therapy for more than two decades. Her grandmother taught her the technique when Khemmikka was a teenager, after she saw her trying to enhance her assets with creams. For the sceptics out there, the technique has even been approved by the government as a viable alternative to plastic surgery. The Independent reported that the Thai Health Ministry conducted a study into 'breast-slapping', and found it resulted in the breasts of volunteers becoming measurably larger. According to the report, the government also sponsored a programme for Thai women to learn how to slap their own breasts bigger. Khemmikka claims the painful procedure can enhance the bust by up to a couple of inches per session. Unfortunately, the treatment may not work for those with breasts which are too small, said Khemmikka. The slapping treatment is also available for those who want to sculpt the other parts of their bodies, such as for firmer buttocks or slimmer faces. One satisfied customer told the Bangkok Post that the slapping made her cheekbones more pronounced and chin sharper. At 11,500 baht (S$478.40) per session, it is far more affordable than plastic surgery, explaining its popularity. And for those interested in learning the tricks of the trade, Khemmikka offers training courses for face-slapping, breast-slapping and body-slapping at the far heftier price tags of 5 million baht (S$208,000), 8 million baht (S$332,800) and 10 million baht (S$416,000) respectively.

Yahoo news : Gay casanova with HIV plays out 200 in M'sia Kuala Lumpur (The Star/ANN) - A HIV-positive gay casanova is believed to have conned nearly 200 young men in Malaysia of their money and valuables besides having sex with them. So far, 193 youngsters have claimed to be victims of the man with at least 100 saying they had sex with him before they were cheated of money, laptops and other items. The victims, some teenagers, said the casanova claimed to have fallen in love with them to gain their trust. His conquests were discovered after one victim posted a photo of the man on Facebook, and other victims recognised him. One, who only wanted to be known as Lee, 24, said he met 'Alvin' through Facebook last August and they soon carried on a relationship. "He came to my house last month and stayed with me for three days," said Lee, who lost 3,000 ringgit (US$990) when the casanova made off with his laptop, wallet and credit cards. He lodged a report with the Kota Damansara police station. Another victim, Kor, 22, said he had been conned into sleeping with the man two years ago. "He said he loved me and wanted me to be his boyfriend," he said, adding that they had spent a night together in a hotel before the man ran off with the 400 ringgit in Kor's wallet. "I want him to be stopped before he harms more people," said Kor, who has yet to get himself tested for HIV. The youngest victim, 17-year-old student Tai, met 'Kelvin' through a pen-pal magazine last October. "He invited me to come over to a hotel room," said Tai, adding that they had sex before going back to Tai's home. 'Kelvin' then disappeared after stealing Tai's laptop worth 3,000 ringgit. Tai has already tested positive for a sexually transmitted disease. Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) Public Services and Complaints Department chief Datuk Michael Chong said the number of the casanova's victims was shocking. "We believe there are many more who do not want to come forward due to shame."

Malaysia, November 16, 2010 UNDIGESTED durian fruits excreted by elephants may sound disgusting, but faecal fruit could well be the most expensive (and delicious) aphrodisiac from the jungle. As supply is scarce, it is learnt that timber tycoons with good connections with the Orang Asli are willing to pay about RM1,000 for a sample. Simply termed as "elephant durians", the fruits are collected the same way as kopi luwak (civet coffee) in Indonesia. While the natives in Sumatra trail after the civet in search for its faeces consisting of undigested coffee berries, the Jakun in Malaysian forests follow elephants which have swallowed durian fruits. They have to take the risk to follow the mammals for at least four hours, as this is the duration needed by the animals for digestion before the fruit is excreted with the faeces. Malaysia Nature Society advisor (Johor branch) Vincent Chow heard about this aphrodisiac from his timber tycoon friends and Orang Asli. He said timber tycoons will usually book in advance the fruits from the Orang Asli during the durian season. "The Orang Asli are willing to trail the animal because of the good money the excreted fruit can fetch. "Based on what Orang Asli tell us, the faeces of elephant smell like tea and is not smelly at all as the mammal is a herbivore. "Moreover, the fruit remains clean as no dirt or bacteria can penetrate the hard and fibrous husk within the short time span. "Tycoons claim that the fruit will become an aphrodisiac after passing through the elephant's digestive tract. "Although there is no scientific evidence to suggest so, the high demand and good price for the fruit speak for itself," he told Streets. Chow say elephants usually swallows more than one fruit at a time. It is learnt that elephants will roll the fruit on the jungle floor by using its foot to smoothen its thorny surface before rolling and wrapping it with grass and leaves from the jungle floor and swallowing it. The mammal usually swallows more than one fruit at a time. This is probably the second food item in the world consumed by human in the form of faeces. The first is the above mentioned civet coffee. Saw this from another forum : Urgent! Please Help Save the Kennel! 16 lives will be lost if board fees not paid by Monday 6 Sep Please help to save kennel. We are community caregivers of dogs and cats for the past 10 years between us. Looking after the strays at Industrial and Housing estate. We are also a resgistered society, (Society for the Care of Community Cats and Dogs). About 5 months ago, we took over ownership of a kennel from an old man who hasn't been looking after his dogs properly. A sponsor has promised help, but for the past three months we have been taking from our savings and paying for the kennel ourselves and we are no longer able to do so. The sponsor has since told us straight out, that no help will be given. Some of the dogs were puppies found in a box, thrown away like rubbish on the roadside, then others were entrusted in our care and the owners just dissapeared. The pet farm is chasing us for the last two months board fees ($6850 URGENT!) and current month ($3425) and all 18 dogs are will be evicted if board fees are not paid. There are no where for them to go. We need urgent help for the following: 1. Payment of owed boarding fees: To pay at least 2 months board of $6850 by Monday!! 2. Spaying of all dogs: Est $200 each, more if its a female 3. Sponsorship of Pet food: $39 per bag, 7 needed a month, $33 per ctn wet food, 3 ctn needed a month All donations will be recorded and emailed to sponsors if require.
