Hi guyz, do you know how to check if a battery is maintenance free or not? I changed about 1/2 year ago, being topping up regularly by the month, but got a funny feeling it is maintenance free...(can shot me if you want cuz I have no idea about batteries) The brand of the battery is Mareg Die Batterie, the guy who installed it only tell me make in Germany....he also blur blur

Dear Friends, I am new to this forum. Before I buy a car, I would like to enrol for Motor-vehicle Maintenance/upgrade tuition class. Can anyone recommend any place in Singapore which offer such classes? Does those Driving Centres(e.g BBDC) offer such classes? Is it cheaper than outside? Hi, anyone knows what is the maintenance schedule we are suppose to go for ? Is it the same with every brand of car? every 3000km go for 1 maintenance? Or what is 10,000KM servicing? 20,000km ? What is the difference? What do they change? Any where I can find out? Or anyone care to explain ?

okie... my car needs to go in for the first 5k maintenance soon, but I need to go to Kuantan next week so .... by Thurs next week, I will do probably about 4200 km, but if I go and come back I will sure to hit about 5500km. so should I do it next thurs (clear my mind for all maintenance requirements such as oil, water etc...) or should I wait till I return? will it be ok if I do it around 4k? Thanks

Need advices for the following: 1) Air con servicing: when and where do u guys do it? Wat does it involves? Cleaning or replacing parts? Anyone with experience plz post here. 2) Mobil 1 syn engine oil: Where can i get the cheapest? Heard from some ppl that bukit merah or alexandra sells the cheapest. Anyone knows exactly where? 3) NGK plugs: where can i get NGK stock copper plugs at the cheapest? Hehe..i know a few dollars only...but just tell me lah! denso also can. 4) Varta batt: Where can i get the cheapest maintenace free batt? Any brands beside varta to look out for? thanks folks.
