Hear so many accidents involving Taxis. Shold be it mandatory to have anti-collision system installed at all Taxis. If not available for retrofit kit, then new models should be made to have this active safety feature. It will slow down speed if too close, or intervene to brake and stop vehicle in collision is detected. No chance for them to tail gate lah

I was driving to work just now and was in a hurry. Now, my estate has only one entry point from the main road and I was turning out via that. Just then a whole convoy of YOG buses come along and take up the main road on one side. Never mind, I'll just turn out. one of the buses puts itself right smack in the yellow box at the entry point so no one can leave my estate nor can anyone drive in. After stopping, the then proceed to just SIT THERE FOR A WHOLE FARKING 15 MINUTES, with their passengers blowing vuvuzelas and the buses playing stupidly offkey music. Their police escorts just signaled me to stop and not move. I leaned my head forward and gave the retarded reveillers a wave, which I then turned into a one-finger salute the moment their police escort's back was turned towards me. I only managed to move off after the buses went on further down the road to harass other people And this is why I hate the YOG....

check this video out.. my friend's car. RPM shoots up i did my IHE and unichip, still can't get to this stage which is exactly what i want.. the surge in RPM and pulling power when WOT and superb engine response when accelerating from still. is the difference between a K20A3 and R18 so big? what else should i do to get engine performance like this?

"Even when asked politely to move her car, she refused to for a whole hour until the police was called in. "She claimed to be a season parking holder and that she was enforcing a punishment against my grandmother. "It is amazing how ugly Singaporeans can get!"

Car manufacturers should Make Oil Filter like BMW!

I feel the paper oil cartridges used in BMW (20yrs ago....) are far more enviromental friendly compared to those metal cannisters used by many other companies. Its also cheaper to manufacturer and hence could pass the savings to consumers. The filter is housed inside a metal housing secured by a bolt. when you change the filter, you unscrew the cover and replace the paper element inside. http://www.google.com.sg/imglanding?q=M42B...wAw&start=0 See the small circular housing (right behind the radiator hose) that looks like a star? Thats the oil filter housing. -

To the owner of Hyundai Avante Sports Make, SJQ458*P, I hope that you are a member of MCF and I really hope that you are reading this. I see you very often in the multi-storey carpark in the morning and I have noticed the following bad habits that you have: 1) You're very heavy footed and the speed that you're driving at in the multi-storey carpark is very fast 2) You tail gate drivers that are moving down the multi-storey carpark 3) You overtake drivers on bends (Not the main road, but the small road circumference of our HDB flats) Allow me to remind you that it is early in the morning, alot of old folks go out for their morning walks, parents/maids walking their children to school, alot of road users going to work, the way you drive is simply RECKLESS! The speed that you're driving at allows minimal reaction time for yourself, other drivers and pedestrians. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE AND THINK for the safety of others. If you're in a rush all the time in the morning, please do something to avoid the mad rush..you'll be a much safer driver and you won't start your day feeling so flustered with all the mad rush. I really hope you're reading this.

How difficult is it to fit the side mirror of another car model to EP80 ah? I think the Euro Star side mirror from Picanto is very nice, especially the star blinker. Possible to fit it onto starlet?

Hi . this suddenly came up my mind. Since Singaporeans are car crazy. Why did the garmen never think making cars in Singapore? As in , if it is made in Singapore , we do not need to pay "import" taxes and there would be work for everyone. Since everything is going green now , why has Singapore not come out with the idea of making "green cars" while keeping the import tax around. Assuming if other car companies wishes to set up shop in singapore they would have to follow the green emissions restrictions as well? This way , our air remains the same while there are jobs created. This way , the cars made locally though a little more expensive but goes a long way as it doesn't have to pay import taxes. Prices would be almost similar. We get jobs and everyone is happy. There are competition and free market problems to consider but since Singapore has almost 40% of its population as engineers , why didn't they explore this avenue? Million dollar pay ministers can only come out with million dollar plan? So do we need to pay them in billions of dollars before they come out with ideas like this? Time to vote properly.
