Hi all! What do you guys/gals think of the idea of a 'kick' button concept to kick trolls out of threads? In online multiplayer games, the other players in a session can kick a player out if the player was deemed detrimental to the progress of the game. So in MCF we probably allow participants to kick a troll out of a thread but we can refine the idea to only kick when all the other participants or up to a certain number prior to the troll's first post in the thread pressed the kick button on the troll's post. I came up with this after reading so many worthwhile threads stained with troll droppings and killed off further interest and discussions. Please feel free to comment. Cheers!

Just wondering who here have never lost their temper while driving on the roads. Losing one's temper can be manifested in behaviour such as giving a long angry horn, showing the finger, purposely jamming brake, cutting people off, getting into a race, to verbally someone in their face and even having a scuffle. To make it meaningful, you must drive on average once a day for the past 3 years. I confess to giving people the finger before.

Is anyone else using Starhubs cable internet having a problem accessing MCF tonight? I can't access anything past www.mycarforum.com on my computer regardless of browser (wired to one modem with one connection), and I can't access anything past the same on my iPad via wifi (on my 2nd cable Internet network). I have no problems using mobile bb on my phone or iPad (one starhub, the other m1)

Did this before, but thought we'd revisit it again, to focus our KPIs and going forward to the new year For me, started out learning stuff abt cars and made some great friends here. As time progressed, it turned out to be a cyber playground to share, chit chat as well as to share ideas! Made more friends and the old ones still remain! With a near life incident during my spate here, I have realised that life is indeed short and that one should treasure his/her time wisely Well, for the good and the bad here, MCF is here to stay, and looking forward to MORE GOOD YEARS IN MCF! Ever wonder why when someone posted something in a thread...it will somehow become political? Maybe it's because we read too much Yahoo! news that we cannot map the relation to the topics we posted But on a serious note, anyone noticed that Yahoo! news tend to be abit extreme at the other side of the coin? I find the Yahoo! news crew trend to be may a bit on anti-asian undertones...They're news usually put asian countries (including Singapore at time) in bad light.

WWE and MCF have feuds leading to fights. Both WWE and MCF have "good guys" and "bad guys". They can change alignment depending on situation. Every character have their own distingushing characteristics. In WWE, some characters have the persona of being very rich. Same for MCF Some bad guys come out straight away get boo'ed. Others become so bad they actually have fans. Some characters are heavyweight fighters. Others are for comedy value or punchbags. WWE have NWO, Evolution and Nexus. MCF have PSP gang, Tiko rangers In the middle of fights, other people can rush in to join the fray. Sometimes the fight is a mass royal rumble In WWE, people compete to be heavyweight champion. In MCF, people compete to see who pay the most tax, have the most $$$ car, most haolian .... WWE have undertaker. MCF also have.

Not sure if there is already a list. Actually what we put forward will neither be right or wrong, there is no absolute answer coz it's subjective. Car A may be cool and unique to me but not to other bros. Never mind, lets see if there are cars which receive majority votes. For a start, what comes to mind immediately as cool? A Ferrari?? ---- to me though it's sizzling but not as cold as say a Range Rover Evogue.... maybe because there's nothing else doing what the Evogue does whereas a Ferrari has at least a few other supercars offering same type of sensations eg looks, speed, 2-seater, high performance, price.... At the point, there's nothing like the Evogue. Let us know if there's another car providing the same and what other cars you think are COOL??

Hello. After getting feedback that many members' mail box gets flooded by MCF notifications, we have done some adjustments. 1) Default email notification will be "Daily Email digest". This will ensure that you get one notification per day only. 2) "Delayed email notification" has been removed. The delayed email notification seems to be very much the same as the immediate email notification. So we have removed that setting. Any feedback on this or other "email notification" related matters is appreciated.

This has been happening since day 1 some 7 months ago. Like surfing half way, kena log out to main screen of Galaxy Tab again. Super frust. Anyone faces same problem? Or any wise guy has solution other than goingback to Samsung service ctr?

Anyone encountering slowness to load, page not found, unable to log on, "Offline" mode??? I have all the above since last friday. It's the 10th anniversary since the founding of MCF and it has been a long time since I first join. Hopefully the forum will still be around in the next lap.
