  1. Hi all, In most forums I have visited, there are usually a thread for member to get know to each other. There used to be one here, created back in 2002, but most pages were TCSS, well almost. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- @beanoyip Nick(s): beano Gender: Male obviously.. I'm not a young chap here, that's for sure, just by counting my cars I've owned would be suffice to determine my age group. Here goes, Daihatsu Charade Honda Civic esi Hyundai Accent Hyundai Getz Hyundai Avante Subaru WRX Hyundai Accent Next car, no plan, because no money. The only car that I didn't modified or played, is WRX, because it has all the power I wanted. I took it to the track once to experience the trill. I lost to all the Malaysian trackies. They were cheap and fast. A full time Engineer who studied the wrong course regretfully and went into a wrong industry, I prefer arts and robotics. So I love to tinker much just about anything, from broken toys to breaking toys when I am young, to photography and on recent many years ago I started to ditch the still pictures and move on to motion pictures ( filming ) as my long term passion. I approached several car magazines and Facebook pages to "beg" for a part time job and hopefully the small income can fund my passion and moving forward to be able to see if I can work on something in the video filming genre to gain more recognition. In person, I am very open minded and straight forward. I can be very blunt and honest in my opinion too. Due to my star sign. LOL. So my post sometimes carries a hate mail .. haha. I give my intro 10/10. Swee ! As to my nickname and logo..that's a twist .. Car Lover Guy or Carl Over Guy , you decide. T4 is the acronym for my Youtube channel which means The Terrible Terri Talks, four tees , thus T4 As for the nickname, It''s suppose to be the former, I not gay. 5. Jail for Sammyboy Forum member who secretly filmed women in cafe toilet and had 2,103 obscene clips A digital marketing specialist went to a Holland Village cafe and installed a hidden camera shaped like a metal hook in its unisex toilet to record videos of unsuspecting women. Clarence Tang Jia Ming, 27, would later delete the videos of women who appeared to be more than 25 years old. Videos showing male patrons were also deleted, the court heard. Tang was sentenced on Thursday (March 21) to three years' jail. He pleaded guilty in 2018 to 30 counts of insulting a woman's modesty and one count of being in possession of 2,103 obscene films for the purpose of distribution. Forty-five other charges for similar offences were considered during sentencing. Tang, who committed the offences between 2014 and 2016, was the fifth and final man to be convicted in a case involving online groups that shared voyeuristic videos taken with hidden cameras in places such as public toilets and changing rooms. The four others were customer service officer Ong Yi Jie, 27; former sales engineer Joel Chew Weichen, also 27; fund accountant Shaun Lee, 29; and former security guard Ali V.P. Mohamed, 46. They had been jailed for between six months and three years. All five men were members of Sammyboy Forum, which is a predominantly sex-themed online site that contained hundreds of threads sharing obscene material. Tang registered an account on the forum in 2009 and five years later, he came across a thread in which Ong posted hidden-camera films he had recorded. The pair began to exchange private messages and Tang told Ong, who is also known as Kenneth, that he also wanted to make such clips. They met at the Holland Village cafe, where Ong taught him how to install the hook-shaped hidden camera in the toilet. After this meeting, Tang would go to the cafe and install the camera to capture videos of his unsuspecting victims. On Nov 11, 2016, the Ministry of Education reported to the police that it had received information on obscene videos circulating on the Internet of schoolgirls in toilets or changing rooms taken with hidden cameras. The clips were found on platforms such as Google groups and the Sammyboy Forum. Police raided Tang's home 18 days later and seized items, including two external hard drives containing the 2,103 obscene films. Tang is out on bail of $15,000. He was ordered to surrender himself at the State Courts on April 11 to begin serving his sentence. For each count of insulting a woman's modesty, he could have been jailed for up to a year and fined.

  11. http://www.chinapost.com.tw/taiwan/national/national-news/2014/08/05/414077/ROC-Army.htm TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Army Sergeant Hsieh Shu-chen (謝淑貞) has officially become the first female R.O.C Army Ranger after completing a rigorous 10-week training last week, local media reported yesterday. The 26-year-old Hsieh of the 21st Artillery Command under the 6th Army Corps was awarded the Ranger badge on Aug. 1 after successfully undergoing 10-week training at an Army Special Forces training center in the mountainous Guguan area in Taichung City (台中谷關), the reports said. The Army said Hsieh was one of the 26 that successfully completed the training. The course took in 54 candidates. She is the only female who completed the training. According to the Chinese-language Apple Daily, there were another three female candidates joining Hsieh when the training session began. But all three of them had washed out of the arduous training session within a week. After officially becoming an Army Ranger, Hsieh expressed gratitude to her fellow candidates and instructors. It is with their encouragement that she was able to pass the test, Hsieh said. There were times when she wanted to give up, but Hsieh said her mother always taught her not to give up halfway, a motto she keeps in mind. According to the Army Special Forces training center, a potential ranger has to complete a four-stage, 10-week training before participating in a four-day final test to become a ranger. Superhuman Training During the 10 weeks, a candidate has to run 10,000 meters every morning plus complete another 1,000-meter obstacle course. He or she has to swim another 1,000 meters every day at noon and wear 25 kilograms of equipment for a 10-kilometer walk. Each day concludes with muscular endurance training. A potential Ranger also has to undergo all kinds of extraordinary tests, such as overcoming a fear of heights by jumping into water from a 22-meter-tall platform. A trainee needs to overcome high-altitude-related problems and be able to swim in cold water, it noted. The final exam is a four-day mountain training at altitudes of 1,500 to 2,600 meters, with candidates resting less than five hours during the four-day span, the training center added. Hsieh did not get any special treatment during the process because of her gender, the Army said. Respect!! for most of us, even at our peak, I don't think we can finished this course.

My friend apologised but was forced to join them before they let him off. "After weeks of stalking, I found out my brother was involved in fights and chasing illegal debts, spraying people's houses. "There were times when I called the police for they were carrying weapons, and seemed to be preparing for a fight. The rival group always ran away, upon seeing them chasing with big knives in their hands. "Though the police were alert, my brother and his gang always managed to flee. "I called the police though my brother is involved. I would rather have him getting his punishment now then to really kill someone and get life imprisonment. "They often hang around at Woodlands Block 515/888. They always hang out in a group of 15 and get into fights, bullying the weak. "I witnessed a couple of fights where they surround the victims and bash them up under the nose of people siting at the coffee shops. "Those pictures were downloaded from my brother's FB. They were so outragous to even state their logo, taking away the zeros -- 65369 meaning 6 ave 369 in Hokkien which I got to know after approching people I know who were previously gamg members. "One guy seems to be the head of this group for his girlfriend needs to be accompanied by 2 others wherever she goes, even to the toilet. "I had been trying to approach the police's Secret Societies Branch (SSB) for help but couldn't get through the line. "I can't stalk my brother day and night or alert the police on time hence I go through this channel, hoping people in our area will help keep watch and avoid having disputes with them. "Do not hesitate to call 999 if you see them carrying weapons or getting into fights. You may be saving their future. "I really hope they stop whatever they are doing. They are only a bunch of 16-year-old kiddos."

  20. What did this fella post actually? From CNA: http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/sin...1166078/1/.html Young PAP member quits over offensive remarks on Facebook By Esther Ng, TODAY | Posted: 17 November 2011 2111 hrs SINGAPORE: A Young People's Action Party (YP) member who posted "insensitive" remarks - in his own words - on his Facebook page has resigned, following an online furore. Mr Jason Neo has also issued an apology on his Facebook page. He had posted a religiously and racially offensive caption to a photograph which he uploaded onto the social networking website. The posting went viral recently. In Mr Neo's apology, he said the post was out of a "moment's folly" and did not, in any way, represent the view of the PAP or the YP. He said: "I hereby offer those within our Muslim community and anyone else offended my most sincere and unreserved apology." Mr Neo, a volunteer at Meet-the-People sessions in Sembawang who joined YP in June, had posted the offensive caption and photo sometime in February. Mr Neo's action was condemned by YP leaders, including YP chairman Teo Ser Luck who wrote on his Facebook page: "We will have to take action. Such acts must be condemned." In a statement on YP's Facebook page on Thursday, its vice-chairman Zaqy Mohamad reiterated: "YP's and PAP's position is clear. Racism has no place in Singapore, and certainly not in the ranks of the PAP. The party has always upheld the core values of meritocracy and multiracialism. As a minority and from a race and belief targeted in the post, I found it very offensive, and I am certainly disappointed that it came from one of our activists." Mr Zaqy stressed that the YP executive committee regularly updates members on its informal guidelines - online or otherwise. "One of the fundamental prohibitions is that the party does not condone malicious racist remarks," Mr Zaqy said. In light of this episode, "more regular reminders" will be made to YP members, he added. Nevertheless, the incident raises question marks on the screening process carried out by political parties on potential members. Veteran PAP Member of Parliament Charles Chong told TODAY that it would be "difficult" to vet those joining YP or PAP. "They may profess to have the same ideology as the party and have a clean record, but even with psychometric tests, there is a small possibility of mistakes or missteps," said Mr Chong. On his Facebook posting, Mr Zaqy acknowledged that questions were raised about membership in the YP as a result of the incident. He said: "They would have demonstrated a certain level of interest and commitment towards the Party before they would be referred by a trusted comrade for membership." Speaking to Today, Mr Zaqy added that typically, potential members are "judged by how they perform or act as volunteers first before they are brought into the party". -CNA/ac
