Hi guys, As you all know, we will be setting up a new Alfa Romeo Club section under Car Clubs. We need two more mods to help out Le_Stig in the running of the new section, so this poll is to decide who you guys feel should be appointed. The local car mag 'REV' (or something like that) carries articles on car mods (actual mods on real local cars?). I am wondering whether those mods are legal / LTA-friendly?... the way the writers put it seems these mods are legal.... not sure myself.

Hi everyone! Just wondering what mods you planning to put for your car? Bodykit? Engine stroker? Brake? For me, just planning for engine rebuild (no stroking, keeping it at 2L), Transmission change (sourcing for an Xtrac gearbox) and twin charging. Gunning for at least 500HP and 700Nm torque.

i intend to do minor mods to my exhaust system but need some help before i proceed,iam driving a manual car. 1.if i install sideplant before my catylic converter,is there a need to decat? 2.if the sideplant is in closed mode with stock catylic converters,will it still sound like stock or slightly louder or much louder? 3.will decat be a better choice over sideplant? your help is greatly appreciated.

hmm most of us want to have value for money modding for our latios but are unsure about the quality, pricing and workmanship of the lobangs available across all the cars forums. Among my research, i find that some of the pricing or quality mentions are not too recent. Hence reference might change =( Maybe i will share my $0.02 opinions on the type of minor aesthetic moddings (for the past 6months) that i did and how do i find the quality and workmanship of the "lobangs" If u got other good lobangs.... Pls share too =D Hope we can help save our money and yet get GOOD mods Before modding LEDs (on door handles, below car doors and front grill) Lobang>>Marcus aka Wischong @96619892 Work time >> 4hours Cost $250 Duration of usage/installation: roughly in late July 2008 till now Comments: He is careful with my car, take great care and time to dismantle my car doors. LED quality is good and are very WATER-proof and lasting. No problem with washing. Price wise=> quite reasonable but not the cheapest. He is punctual when it come to meeting me.Friendly guy and gave me a lot of advice on how to maintain the headlamp and prolong my usage. Overall>> quite value for money and good workmanship

Hi I'll be going for my 1st vehicle inspection soon, what are the mods need to be taken out? 1) Coilovers installed (lowered to 2 fingers) 2) 17 inch sport rims 3) BMC CDA (heard must take out???) 4) 4 Point Strut Brace (heard must take out???) 5) Lightly tinted head and tail lamps (lighter than front window) Pls give your comments. Apologise if I sound like a noob.

Hi guys, My QQ is currently stock. Yeah, it's a zippy ride but I want more. It's zippy but still those 1.6TS and Sunny and Getz and Vios etc etc still yards and yards ahead of me at the traffic light start offs. Got any recommendations to make my car go faster? I tried to look for air filters as the first resort but they don't have the correct one for the QQ. Thank you.

Hi all, It gives me great honour to make this annoucement: The return of a 'retired' mod back to the team. Let's put our hand together to welcome Lukie102. She will join Genie47, Linus, Moderator and myself as the mod for all folders. Background about Lukie102 She is not new to the team, in fact she was part of the mods team for a few years until the beginning of year 2008 when she decide to go for a break. And now, it is time for her to re-join the team. I would like to take this opportunity to congrats Genie47 for being promoted to the rank of mod for all folders since July 2008. Aside, I would like to thank those guys for making recommendation of mods via pm. Rest assure that we are constantly on the look out for potential candidates. I hope you guys will continue to render the same support given to make this a better place.

hi anyone can assist with following? 1) stock 15 inch ralliart rims, wats the PCD/offset 2) if upsize to 16 inch, use wat size? 205/50/16? seems more accurate than 215/45/16 or 205/55/16 3) whats the front rotor brake size (mm) 4) KNN drop in filter, where to get? 5) engine oil...use 30wt or 40wt 6) lowering springs : what brand/where to get?

Hi all, Can some expert(s) list down the GENUINE mods (those that REALLY increase performance) we need to do before putting in a piggyback ECU and tuning please? So far, this is what I have been told works: (1) Change to a good performance exhaust system (2) Change to a lightened flywheel & clutch system (3) Change to a lightened crank pulley Anything else to add to the list? I was told that the following things that people commonly do, does nothing substantial for performance: (A) Cold air intake (B) Air charger © Grounding Anything else to add to this list? Thanks!
