Anyone knows what happened? The jam went all the way back to Bedok. Heard on the radio that an accident happened near the Marina South exit. The traffic info board at Marine Parade indicated that it would take me 45mins to reach Rochor exit!!!

My friend was at the junction outside zouk area. He stopped at the red light. A few seconds later, a black jazz/fit went past him, beating the red light then hitting a camry perpendicular. The camry spun slightly and hit the middle divider. My friend said a lady and a guy got out of the jazz/fit and the camry's horn was blasting away. He said he thought he saw the lady laughing or something but I am not too sure about that. My friend wanted to come down and call the police but the police came really fast (near zouk). The camry driver didn't come out for a while and my friend decided to leave the area. In another incident few years back, my same friend's car got hit perpendicularly (as well) by a drunk black lancer at paya lebar area, also ran the red light. Luckily he wasn't injured at all but the driver had to settle the 35k bill for the car as the insurance wouldn't cover. I really hope the camry driver will be ok. That black jazz driver, i hope you were drunk. You will be paying through your nose for the damage to your car, his car and his medical bills. Bye bye license too ! Your 10 second folly will follow you around for life i hope. ------------------------------ The reason for this post, is to appeal to all drivers and hopefully to serve as a wakeup call. Here are some pointers! Raise your hand if you have done it before, then hit your own head. I won't say i'm an angel, but self awareness is the first step, I'm trying to get rid of my bad driving habits too. 1. No, you are probably not a better driver than most others, despite your years of driving experience in stop/start traffic, cutting in and out at 60km/h. 2. No, your car is not probably going to win others in a race, despite the mods you have done to your car, including but not limited to ur broquet, superione and modified exhaust. 3. No, your car won't be able to corner and drift like initial D, despite the lowered tein suspension, pirelli p zero tyres and your amazing heel toe braking skills. 4. No, you can't control your car, emotions and ur balls when you are 'slightly high', so don't bother. You are usually too drunk to make that right decision whether you are high or not. Take the fxxking cab home or valet it back. 5. No girls will come up and ask for your number, or no one is amazed with your ability to rev your car past eateries at jln kayu, simpang bedok or where ever. Your full reving just irritates people or wakes the neighbourhood up, and are probably calling you chao ah beng. So unless you drive a car in excess of $500,000, pls dun bother reving your exhaust, esp in the middle of the nite. People do not appreciate it. 6. Lastly, the girl in your passenger seat is not your audience. No matter how racer you think you are, value her life at least. If you wish to race, drop her off, call me to fetch her then go race. I'll comfort her when you smash your face in the steering wheel. Thank you and have a nice day.

1st encounter: toyota alphard location: BKE slip road into KJE facts: toyota alphard tailgating from behind at bend when changing lanes is not possible. reached KJE, dropped a gear and noticed alphard had a hard time catching up. subsequently zig zag-ing its way out at cck exit. morale of story: not all small cars are eaten as ur sunday morning breakfast la. nobody is racing wif u and all i want was a quick drive home to slp after night shift. so dun assume u pay more road tax u own the road ok? its merely a Many People Vehicle hence dun go around intimidating others as if u're a f1 driver ok? think about ur passenger! 2nd encounter: GTR location: KJE towards jurong west ave 2, exit corporation road facts: noticed this white beauty wif a 3 digit plate beside me. driver had a passenger, drove wif grace; no tailgating or aggressive driving. drove along side each other until international road until lost sight of him. probably exit somewhere. morale of story: 3.8L & 480bhp car but driver is humble enough not to drive like an F1-wannabe despite having a car whose specs double or more the alphard. end of story: MPV should be driven the way it is. wanna race? go to PG and race on ur own. nobody is interested in ur mini street race. end of rant.

Anyone was there this morning around 7.15 am? Accident was terrible. 2 motorbikes were overturned and lying on the ground. One of the bikes had its seats came off. Traffic Police was there to direct the traffic. Blocked all the lanes of the tunnel road except the overtaking lane. So early in the morning. Drive/ride so fast. -

Hi, Anyone saw the white VW Golf GT/GTi crashed along Alexandra road just outside the Horti Park this morning 7+am? Saw TP there at the scene, seems like car hit tree and verve off into the drain. Front totaled, airbags deployed. Didnt see any driver or bodies in the wrecked car... but looked very serious accident. Such a good car gone to waste just like that... This morning after eating breakfast, drive home.. 3 lanes and i was driving in the center lane From my right side rearview mirror, saw a Merc Cab driving as though the driver is drunk.. 3rd to 1st lane then to 3rd lane again.. As he approach my car very fast, his cab was in between 2nd and 1st lane behind me.. Near my car backside liao.. Quickly swerved to the left lane.. Sure enough, he drove past me.. If i never changed lane, sure kenna hit Thought maybe he got heart attack or something, stop beside him at traffic light.. And sure enough, he was holding handphone in one hand..

Hi guys, my car cant start this morning. i try to jump start also cannot, i think is not a batt problem and a starter problem. A passerby walk pass and kindly help me to check, he told me that the fuel is not reaching the engine. any brothers here got any idea what is means? anyway my car is manual and a coe car, and left it untouch for 2 days. thanks for helping..

i witnessed a fire accident at 330am today 060608 those living at blk 466 sembawang drive or along the sungei river might have seen a bright orange glare and heard fire engines, or even smelled the smoky air... was about 3am and the weather was pretty cooling and there were mild lighenings and soft thunder sounds, so i tot it was prob gonna rain but suddenly a very bright orange glare shone right into my room curious, i looked out the window to check wad it was... only to see a fierce fire emerging from a nearby factory juz across the road away from my house 4 fire engines and several police cars came took them an hour plus to control the fire but juz when the fire seemed to be under controlled, a sudden explosion will follow and a fierce ball of flames will appear. this happened for an hour... the sky was very red and bright, with very visible dark smokes arising to the sky from where i stood and view ( i live at 18th floor ), it looked like a volcano erupting... fire died down at about 5am. nt sure if anyone in my neighbourhood saw this but i was still awake at 3 and i happen to see the flames go wild... hope no casualties ** sorry for the blur image i forgot to switch on to anti shake function =)

How do you find the new morning show? Now the DJs are Sheikh Haikel and Suzanne Walker. I find that it is now so much more boring than Joe and Petrina. The only thing that Sheikh talks are "Good Morning" and contest announcements. Nothing much else. Now the number of songs are more before you hear the DJ. Easy money for the DJs. And their new motto is "more songs less talk". Strange to me that if that's their new motto, why bother to have 2 DJs? Might as well save cost and just put a DJ to do contest announcements. The reason why you want two or more DJs is because you want interaction, interesting jokes and conversation between them. If want to have less talk, just spin the songs will do la....

Sometimes after mahjong I go back late, around 3-4am, I see some people washing cars at the MSCP. Is there any one here who does that and if you do, maybe can share why - I finding it a bit strange how anyone can stay up so late to wash car. Just trying to understand if there is good reason to do so apart from during the day boh eng maybe.

1st accident along AYE towards ECP just after Alexandra exit this morning around 6.45am...Cement truck flipped on its side blocking lanes 2 and 3. Apparently when it flipped, it hit a 40 seater school bus on its left rear...almost 1/3 of the top structure/left rear of the bus was crushed. Luckily the bus was empty if not..... 2nd accident along the nice sweeping S curve behind the Subordinate courts around 7.05am... Honda EuroR lost control along the S curve and crashed into the barriers along the left curb... Front left axle broke

This have been worst jam where before I entered the expressway, it's already jammed. Exited lentor and even Yio chu kang and amk are jammed. Heard it started even around 7am. Anyone got a clue what causes this?

Saw this accident along ECP this morning. Use my N95 to take the video but have to convert from MP4 to WMV so I can used Windows Movie Maker to shorten the clip and upload to youtube. Red Mit Lancer kanna sandwiched. Didn't manage to shoot the badly damaged white Toyota double cab pickup due to Estima blocking the view.

6:40am thereabouts, on PIE Lane 1towards Airport, at Bukit Timah flyover. looks like a Gen-2 City pre facelift.. jialat.. whole wheel flew out.. bumper off, damaged the railing along the bend. an Altis was slightly in front. with the ambulance.. jialat pls drive safe and don't fool around in public roads.
