    John Q movie

I have a show to recommend to the rest of the forummers Movie: John Q starring Denzel Washington. Sypnosis: John Q. Archibald is an ordinary man who works at a factory and takes care of his family. His wife Denise and young son Michael are his world. But when Michael falls seriously ill and needs an emergency heart transplant operation that John Q. can't afford and his health insurance won't cover, he vows to do whatever it will take to keep his son alive. With time and options running out, a desperate gamble becomes his only hope--he takes the emergency room hostage. As John Q. barricades himself inside the hospital along with his unwitting group of emergency room hostages, many of them in need of medical care themselves, he faces off with a veteran police hostage negotiator and a quick-tempered police chief who both want to bring a swift end to the stand-off. I'm sure there'll a lot of you who watch this show before, but I still think it worth watching again. It's really moving and will prompt a lot of you to treasure your families a lot more. And that there are still hope in the world.

  5. Most of it was just Harry, Ron and Hermione shaking leg in various ulu places. There was no real sense of excitement or urgency. I went into the movie thinking it was 1hr 45mins long but in reality it was 145 mins so my boredom was extended by an extra hour. Given another choice, I rather watch Megamind twice. You have been warned.
  6. How come this show is/ seems so hot but no discussion is MCF? Pls share your feedback on this show.
  7. Watched this movie...Awesome! script is normal, but climax is there. Russel Crowe still one of the big hit. Liem Nesson onli feature in one screen, dun expect much from him. Nice show....
  8. In response to the other thread, let's list down the best movies you've watched instead - so for those who've missed out, you know which DVDs to add to your collection. Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind Oldboy (the other 2 movies from the revenge trilogy were great as well, but Oldboy stood out the most for its cinematography and great acting) Donnie Darko Requiem for a Dream Kill Bill pt 1 & 2 Fight Club Se7en Any others?
  9. Here's the link for the trailer of movie : Furthermore....... Its in 2D!!! [laugh]

  12. Was introduced to this movie by a friend. Initially I was skeptical about how good would a Bollywood movie be. Having seen how impressive Slum Dog was I catch the move - 3 idiots and I would say it is very good. Should not miss it and I thought of recommending it to all to watch the movie....
  13. Proof that Hollywood movies are not everything. This movie is better than Top Gun! The movie is marketed here in its English title Sky Fighters. Movie is in French but got all sorts of Chinese subs (simplified, difficult, super difficult and unknown) and English subs. I got the DVD off Poh Kim or was it TS Video? Can't remember. It is a R6 DVD. Once I got past the chinese menu, the movie's aerial photography is damn good! Top notch! Got it for 6 bucks! I can't remember if it was shown here in cinemas. The best scene was the Mirage 2000 doing the low level supersonic flight with the shockwave. Some Youtube videos of it. Trailer This is the scene when the hot French PM's office babe gets a lift in the Alphajet Comes with super sexy music which I like. The audio is in German but you should have heard the French audio. She was laughing and moaning like having sex. Anyway, later the pilot and her did have sex. Same sexy music (Conversation) more aerial photography. Real contrails. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1ROyKLiLOo This trailer features the song from the soundtrack. You're the conversation, I'm the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBfW9yWGXBk The Mirage 2000 sonic boom shockwave attack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRhJZQor70c Real flying and not CG stuff in the stupid Stealth movie. In my DVD, there are special features. One is the solely 25 minutes full of the aerial scenes used in the movie including that low level supersonic sonic boom shockwave. The other is the aerial scene only trailer. Featured jets are the Mirage 2000 and Alphajet trainer. That is not the only thing sexy in this movie. The French women are the epitome of sexiness! If you like a real movie with real fighters and real sexy women, get this DVD!
  14. I want to know the exact model of this Audi in the recent movie "From Paris With Love". Its the silver Audi during the last few minutes of the movie in the car chase scene. Quite nice.
  15. i happened to find this movie on youtube..its so corny and funny. lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dahJA7MtsMQ...feature=related
  16. Nowadays, it seems that every movie that can be 3D is 3D'ed. Avatar and Shrek were great in 3D. Toy Story was a waste of money. Do you like to watch movies in 3D? I'm not too keen on it but my other half loves it. I wonder when this silly craze will die down.
  17. Cool! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_MqZn7E-mk...layer_embedded#!
  18. What is the name of the movie that Pele starred in in a WWII movie? Is it The Greatest Game?
  19. Beautifully shot and time lapsed. Amazing work. It screwed world economy, gave flight delays but if there are planes flying, would have paid money to be there. http://vimeo.com/11673745 Fv<king awesomegeddon!

The cabriolet fabric roof can be rolled back from the windscreen header rail to the top of the rear engine cover leaving conventional metal sides above the doors. The 12 volt battery is located at the front of the car on a shelf that can be slid out and the spare wheel is in a well under the passenger seat. 21. Sat, Mar 27, 2010 Reuters LOS ANGELES - The Fox TV network on Friday stopped the clock on its action adventure series "24," ending one of its most successful dramas as ratings began to slip in its current, eighth season. The final, two-hour program will air on May 24, and in the countdown to that last show, the network will air 11 hours of uninterrupted episodes on Monday nights. "This has been the role of a lifetime, and I will never be able to fully express my appreciation to everyone who made it possible," the show's star, Kiefer Sutherland, said in a statement. "Looking ahead to the future, (executive producer) Howard Gordon and I are excited about the opportunity to create the feature film version of '24'," Sutherland added. Since the show began in 2001, Sutherland has portrayed tough-minded federal agent Jack Bauer, who has fended off assassins and terrorists and saved mankind from devastation. The fast-paced program often employed a split screen to show events happening in two places at one time, and a clock ticked off the time remaining for Bauer to complete his mission. Each one-hour episode represented one hour in Bauer's life, and every season had 24 episodes to simulate a full day. In its heyday, "24" was one of TV's most popular dramas. It earned a total 68 Emmy Awards, TV's highest honor, including best drama series in 2006. Sutherland was nominated for best actor in a drama seven times, winning once. But viewership had begun to decline. The most recent episode drew just under 9 million viewers in the United States, down from last season's average of slightly more than 13 million. Sutherland and the show's creators now hope to take the character to movie theaters in a film version.
