  1. Happen to park at a MSCP at Clementi (opposite Swimming Pool) and found that there is a detailing service at Level 5B. Never had the time to check that out but any bros know if it's any good, the pricing? Any experiences?
  2. The gutter covers from my MSCP were stolen!! Resulting in alot of cars' bottom kena scrapped when they dropped into the gutters. These covers are located at the base of the ramps going up to the top floor!
  3. Yesterday evening, I went to my house MSCP washing bay to wash my car. Upon arrival, I saw 2 owners washing their vehicles at the washing bay and as such, I parked my vehicle and proceed to the ground floor coffee shop to have a drink. Returning after 45 minutes, both jokers still taking their sweet time cleaning their vehicles (with all doors wide opened) inside the washing bay. Furious, I drove up and purposely parked against a double yellow lines and wait inside my vehicle. Both the drivers saw my intention but they continue cleaning their vehicle. I fell like going over to the owners and piss them off for cleaning their vehicles where they could just drove off to the upper floors of the car park (always empty) to clean them. At the upper floor, they could open up all the doors, boot or bornet, "on" their ICE unit loud and take their time cleaning it, nobody borders. Why must they stick at the washing bay (wet area) to clean their vehicles after wash? Don't you think it is better to go to the upper floor & dry area to clean is much better and comfortable. As for me, after washing my vehicle, I would drive off from the washing bay and to the upper floor of the MSCP to clean my vehicle inside out. There, I could take my time and even to the extend of vacuum or polishing my vehicle & wheels. So to all vehicle owners who washes their vehicles at the washing bay in MSCP, please be CONSIDERATE by driving off after your wet wash and clean your vehicles at a much dryer and cleaner place which is at the upper floor of MSCP. Your are depriving others a chance to wash their vehicle there. Your vee wee little bit of consideration is very much appreciated.
  4. knn..i just went to my car and realised its freaking full of dirt when i havent even go out for the whole day! finally recalled tat the bangala was washing the mscp with the powerful water jet yesterday. cb now the back of my car looks like having gone thru a round of rally. sometimes i really question the rational behind using the water jets to wash the mscp floor so often. and why spary it near pple's car?? knn... i'm glad i already found a cheaper source of season parking and i'm leaving the freaking mscp tmr..
  5. As to warn drivers in front esp during sharp turns.... One example is Jurong East MSCP. Still very dark during the day.
  6. I have been using one hand to drivin in MSCP abt 90% of the time. The few times i tried to use two hands, i was slower, more "spastic" and my passengers commented that i should stick to steering with one hand any views on this issue? My view is that steering with one hand can be dangerous if ur steering wheel is slippery. other than that, anything goes. feel free to correct me or flame away
  7. I parked at the Margaret drive MSCP, just opposite the Queenstown library, yesterday. I saw this notice on my way out: "With effect from 2 Janurary 2007, Coupon Parking Scheme is in place." Does it mean it was free previously? So good? Any other place like it?
  8. For HDB MSCP parking, what is the timeline I can park for free without putting car park coupons? Can I park for free in the MSCP from Sat 1030pm till Sun 1030pm? Thank you
  9. This evening saw one uncle washing at the MSCP. He took a total of 5 times in inserting his cashcard for the water supply. Don't know how he wash wan? I took only 2 times. Each time can fill about 2 pails of water. 1st for shampooing and next for rinsing. What about you guys out there?
  10. The news on Ch 8 just reported that MacRitchie Reservoir Car Park A will be closed for renovation to build a 2-storey MSCP that can house 300 cars. Upon completion, Car Park B and C will be converted for other usage. Good news or Bad news? IMO, why only 2-storey? I doubt 300 car park lots are enough during weekends.
  11. As above, any body hear the news? which car park? juz now on the way home in my car, hear the radio news abt this at FM95.8 but never able to get the location juz know tat abt 12 cars kena vandalise by spraying paint on car body with words like "NICE CAR", "HAHA", "PINKY" and spray the whole wheel rim into black etc.
  12. Hi all, anyone happen to know which Multi Story Car Park has those Vaccum cleaner station where by you insert a dollar and use for 5 mins or so. Lokking preferbly around bishan/ AMK area. My place near cat high used to have 1 but it shut down and i cant seem to find one. I prefer to DIY since i wash my own car. thnx in advance
  13. Hi All. I parked at HDB MSCP using cashcard & noticed that sometimes for short periods there is no deduction to my cashcard. Anybody knows what is the official "grace period" when parking there? Also several private carparks using cashcard also has a grace period. Can we state down those we know for benefit of forumers here? My contribution: 1. Thomson Plaza - 15 mins.
  14. I just removed my P-Plate a few months ago. But one thing I am still not sure till today is who should be giving way while going up or down a typical HDB Multi Storey Car Park. This wasn
  15. would like to know if any brothers/sisters who wash their cars in MSCPs, how u guys wash the wheels especially no hose to spray ....
  16. hi all i think most people have and will experience the pain of getting your rims scratched by high curbs on roads and multi-storey carparks. I think overseas, I have seen people bringing their damaged rims to a factory that will sand the scratches away. This is a good alternative to buying a new set of rims. Also, does anyone know where i can order 1 or 2 piece of ROH Adrenalin 16". If worst come to worst, I have to replace the most badly damaged rim. Comments?
