i am looking for a diagnostic testing for my b14... i dun want to go tan chong... any private workshops to recommend?? do you bros know any shop specialise in repairing suspension for nissan? what happened is that i lend my car to someone to kl...midway he hit on a stone at 140-160 kph so the tyre front right burst, together with sports rim 14" cracked. good thing is that it did not skid at all. I think it has suffered internal injury, might have misalign the main chasis. becos, my drive shaft, shock absorber have to be change 6 months interval. Brake pad wears very fast, it feels like the right front is lower than the other 3 tires. i even changed the arm liao and 4 coil springs..no help. anybody can shed some light? The braking is not functioning that well, and caused me to banged into someone last sep...

Learnt about this from the forum and was condering if the magnet if installed will it disrupt the working of the engine. Example will the magnet affect the EFI or other magnetic field sensitive gadget. A friend of mine was recently advised by an technical engineer in exklusive to remove the magnet fron his new megane. Could N16 owner whom had installed the said pls advise i.e. problem and performance. Thanks.

Hi there, My first log in to this forum.Any sug for durable & moderate noise tyres? I clocked on avg 100km/day, need durable tyres, tried yoko aspec db, wear out too fast abt 11/2years threads has become shallow & very noisy already. Pls advise!!

1 mth+ back, I was at TC to check out the Sunny EX(A). The SE offered the flwg as freebies: $68000 1) R/Sensor (WTF??? I tot it's Std) 2) Keyless Entry (Again, WTF??? I tot it's Std) 3) Black Leather seat (LS) 4) 15" S/R I tot to myself, last Oct 2003, the price was $72500 (I still hv the pricelist) for an EX(A) with the above Std accessories except S/R. If you ask, the SE was able to give LS as freebies and maybe a bit of other free stuff. Bear in mind, the price was b4 ARF cut and COE was much higher. I also remembered the SE told me the basic EX(A) already has Electric Folding Mirror (EFM), but I heard from some forum, they hv now removed the EFM for current stock (need some verification here). I didn't book as I was also considering the VIOS. Now even after ARF cut and relatively lower COE than b4, TC basically take out the Std accessories and throw back to you as freebies. Do you see my point here. Dun think becos of lower price they earn less, but in fact earn even more Just now, I got a call fm the SE again. This time the promo is asf: $69000 (he said COE is still heading North) 1) R/Sensor (WTF??? I tot it's Std) 2) Keyless Entry (Again, WTF??? I tot it's Std) 3) Black Leather seat (LS) 4) 15" S/R On top of the std 3 yrs or 100,000Km + additional 2 yrs free servicing. Now the best part is add 2 years free servicing. Too good to resist???? Bros, pls analyse. A lot of people tell me not to buy Sunny becos of bad FC, how true is it?

hi bros and sis,got my new car for a week and just found out tat my new car let people sketch....very sad...my car somemore is black colour.... me go back to nissan and they say if spray tat part is around $200+.... some more my sketch is not deep and long...anyone can recomand me a shop tat is cheap and the the skill is good...and quote me the price too...thanks

hi bros and sis,me getting my new car this wed...intend to change my rim ...i really wanted to change my rim to 17 inch but a lot of feedbacks tat the fuel comsumption is a lot...so me intend to change to 16 inch but...i found out tat the shop tat sell rim told me tat not all the rims can fit for nissan...i got the rm rims caltogle and got around 40+ models to choose but in the end i can onli have five design tat can fit for my car....any bro or sis and recomand a shop tat is good and honest...me going to change my rim after get my car....pls help me...thanks bros and sis

i just came back from the tire shop near zion rd...the people down there told me tat the new nissan luxury edition car rim not all the rims tat suitable...he say tat the nissan car is very special...not all the rims tat can fix on it...he give me the rm catolog and got so many rims i can onli choose 5 design onli...tat make me very sad...anyone can tel me why...is it nissan rim very diffcult to find?

Nissan to launch 40 new models in three years to 2008: report TOKYO : Japanese automaker Nissan aims to launch about 40 new car models and spend 1.2 trillion yen (10.9 billion dollars) on research and development in the three years to March 2008, a report said. The mid-term plan set to be announced Monday is meant to make it part of the world's third biggest auto group together with its largest shareholder, Renault SA of France, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun said. Sales at Nissan are projected to reach 4.5 million vehicles by March 2008, up 50 percent from the year to March, the paper said, citing company sources. Ford Motor Co., the world's current third largest automaker behind General Motors Corp. and number two Toyota Motor Corp., sold 6.72 million vehicles in 2003. Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. spokesman Yasuhito Chinone said the report was mere speculation. "It is a totally speculative article," he told AFP Sunday. "We have not announced such a thing and there is no truth to it." Chinone said the company would explain its mid-term plan Monday when it unveils its earnings results for the year to March. The paper reported that Nissan would boost its research and development staff to 20,000 by March 2008 from the current 15,000, expand production facilities in Thailand and Indonesia and open an assembly plant in Egypt. Top shareholder Renault holds a 44.3 percent stake in Nissan. - AFP
