My wife was driving straight at the left-most lane, which can turn left into road leading to NEX. A van turning right from opposite direction hit the driver side quite badly. Wife said she was going through when amber, but unfortunately she did not have a car cam in the Sunny. Thanks.

Revving doesn't help. I discovered that with 2 gear, it moves. Then I change to D again, then it OK. What's is happening? My Nissan 8.5 years encounter first time encounter this problem. Last week, also first time, when on air-con, it doesn't work. Noticed fan not turning. After shaking a cable leading to the fan, air-con now ok. TG.

  11. Few months after TC launched this model. I thought it may be good for owners of Teana to share their experience here. Overall driving experience is good, especially when I managed to get 10 KM/l for FC on 2.5 engine. The only issue I have is the 8" touch screen head unit, following is the problems I encountered. 1. Poor radio reception 2. Blue tooth function is bad when making call using my iPhone. Either to noisy back ground noise or bad reception. 3. Speaker humming noise even volume control is set to zero. You will be able to hear it when you switch off your air con & bring you volume control to zero. After visiting TC service center for 3 times, I have learned that even the all new cars that comes with this HU will have the same issue. TC have yet to find any solution. I'm in touch with TC service manager regarding this issues. I keep all bros posted if they found a solution.

  16. Am on a 2007 sylphy 2.0. Recently feeling vibrations and some noise from the ride. Took it to my regular mechanic. Recommended to change undercarriage bushing, front lower arm/front cross member assembly, all absorbers, front top insulator, front rubber cover, plus additional alignment, incl labour is $2.1K. A/ Is this a decent rate, he's assured me it's all genuine parts, and has been doing good work for me for the past few years B/ Is it worth changing, or should I change the car? If you have experience in this aspect, pls share.

  19. Looking for a used car and have no idea which one's cool to get? Or want to know how you can make your car more visible in the sea of used cars on sale? Here's a recap of our 10 most popular used cars posted in November. While some of them are sold, there are still cars out there for sale! Do note that the cars shown here are not ranked in order of popularity. 2009 Honda Civic Mugen RR One of the only two units in town and only 300 units in the world. There are probably more Paganis in Singapore... Only true Honda fans will want one. 1993 Mazda RX-7 Efini One of Japan's all-time greats. Likely to have less than 10 units in Singapore. This particular unit has been spot welded to increase body rigidity. 2007 Mitsubishi Evolution 10 GSR 60 grand worth of parts spent on this blue chrome-wrapped Evo X. Not for those who want to be discreet. 2012 BMW M Series M3 Sedan Here's a good example of how we would do up a V8 M3. A good tune with an Akrapovic Exhaust will definitely make the car a better drive. 2017 Ford Focus RS 2.5M One of the best hot hatches on sale. Enough said. 2009 BMW 1 Series 135i Coupe The mod list on this 500bhp 135i Coupe is pretty extensive. You could say whatever could have been upgraded, had been upgraded. Should be quite a beast to pilot. 1998 Subaru Impreza WRX 2.0M This is a very rare WRC 555 special edition WRX according to the ad. Engine has also been strengthened for a power upgrade. 2008 Mitsubishi Evolution 10 GSR Street-tuned Evo X for those that want a good balance of practicality and driving fun. 2006 Lexus IS250 Luxury For those into the stance culture, this is the perfect car for you. Comes with quite a bit of other mods, too, apart from the air suspension. 2008 Nissan GT-R 3.8A Have a need for speed? With 700bhp, you should have more than enough power for use in Singapore.
  20. Today I was driving at the IMM carpark and my car got up a curb and the tyre got slightly chipped. Images here: https://imgur.com/a/BHC8K Should I replace the tyre or will I survive with this? This tyre has only been used for 4000km now and I drive a Nissan Qashqai 2.0l Thanks for the help!
  21. The new Nissan Kicks is slated to replace the Nissan Juke in the 2018 model year. The Nissan Kicks is a more conservative replacement of the Nissan Juke which spots a more formal design with more straight lines and less funkier design, sporting the corporate grill of Nissan on front of it. It loses its motorcycle fuel tank inspired gear shifter lever and the funky three tier lights ( two layered headlights) For what I think , it is a sad attempt to conform Nissan products to the mainstream. All manufacturers of cars usually have a set of funky cars that they are proud about and sell decently.More car makers are trying to woo the younger generation to buy their new cars, but Nissan seems to be doing the reverse to woo the older, more mature audience. Sooner or later, due to the loss of their funky cars, it may sadly make people perceive that Nissans are for the uncles and no one else... I will add in information to the vehicle that is the successor of the Nissan Juke. Link to pictures and information on Nissan Kicks: https://www.autoblog.com/2017/11/30/2019-nissan-kicks-counterpoint-its-actually-a-smart-juke-repla/
  22. interesting read of how Nissan turned their fortunes around by ceding the reins of the company to Mr Carlos Ghosn, which was unthinkable for a Jap company... http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/cnainsider/outsider-rescued-nissan-brink-bankruptcy-carlos-ghosn-9462320
  23. Hi Everyone, Anyone driving Latio/Sylphy1.5 who has use Lotus Long Life Spark Plug please provide your feedback. 24. For those who are waiting at the sidelines for COE prices to drop further, console yourselves that car prices are cheaper now than before. Back in 1997, the G8 Toyota Corolla cost $125K. The G9 Corolla dropped to $100K in 2000. Today, the Corolla Altis costs $100K with 5 years warranty and servicing thrown in. If you take inflation into consideration, the brand new Corolla today is CHEAPER than 20 years ago. With Uber and Grab in the picture fighting for a piece of the small Cat A pie, COE prices are unlikely to drop to $40K levels. If you really need a car, just go for it now, before more Car Llite policies come into place and COE quote gets cut, then we will be back to $80+K COE seen just very recently 2 years ago.
