  4. The video you're about to see was filmed in this year's Stockholm Open, last weekend. Lot's of speed, lot's of smoke and burnt rubber are for free! The cup was won by a blown Camaro which faced off against another Camaro. The winner received a trophy and bragging rights until next year's run. So until then enjoy!

  7. http://www.facebook.com/StopCriminalisingCarEnthusiastsSG If you own a popular car make and love modifying your car responsibly, and do not drive recklessly, setting a bad example for the rest of us, please please join this group on facebook. With enough numbers, we hope to catch the attention of LTA and hopefully get it to STOP whatever it's doing as we all know how far off the ground the authorities can be in terms of enforcement. Peace =)

  9. Open letter urges PM, Minister to improve road safety for cyclists The death of a cyclist who was killed after a lorry hit him on Saturday has prompted calls for greater safety on roads. (AFP file photo) An avid cyclist has written an impassioned open letter to Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew, repeating a growing call for a 1.5-metre lane to be set aside for road cyclists.

  12. Today sent my car for servicing, basically oil change, check brake pads, etc. Towards the end, I found the mechanic open up my radiator cap and quite a bit of liquid gushed out and he quickly put the cap back. I would like to understand the following;- 1) What does the radiator cools? 2) Is there a need for the mechanic to open up the radiator cap 3) Do you need to replace the radiator coolant to prevent overheat? Thanks!
  13. [sweatdrop] From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg..._moves_off.html Posted on 20 Jun 2012 How could this happen? Doors remain open even as train moves off STOMPer wasabi was on her way home when one of the train doors remained stuck open even as the train moved off from Lakeside station. Said the STOMPer: "I was on my way home from Boon Lay MRT to Cityhall MRT at about 10pm last night. "At Lakeside station, one of the doors started making noises during 'Doors Closing' and remained stuck open even while the train started moving. "Thank goodness the train was relatively empty, if not it would have been dangerous for people standing near that door in a crowded train! "The doors eventually closed at the next station."

  15. Hi All Its my turn to do the Open Net cabling. My place has the LAN cabling built into the house and terminates near the Starhub distribution box and power point. I was told by Starhub that I can connect the ISP box at this setup. The Open Net contractor says I have to situate the fibre box near the TV, but this will mean ugly trunking since my TVs are only in the bedrooms. Also it doesn't make sense since most homes now have multiple TVs. 1) Can someone help identify my LAN terminal box and how do I connect them to a router or LAN switch? 2) Is it feasible to hook up the complete fibre setup at this remote position and have the LAN points or wireless router serve the whole house (as per what I have read in the Open Net website)? 3) Who or what type of company does this type of hookup work? Thanks for all advice!

  20. Interesting concepts here. I particularly liked the bit about putting old folks into jail and criminals into nursing homes Dear Mr. Cameron, Please find below our suggestion for fixing the UK 's economy. Instead of giving billions of pounds to banks that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan. You can call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan: There are about 10 million people over 50 in the work force. Pay them
