  1. Currently running on 195/55 R15 Bridgestone Potenza G3. But tyres getting old... Unlike cars, i can't exactly test drive tyres and there's so much choices out there...so i'm limiting myself to these 3 choices.. Will appreciate any opinions on my 3 choices and which would you choose if you were me. 1) Stick with the G3 cause well it's good but noisy 2) Hankook V8 RS 3) Kumho ECSTA SPT XPT - does this come in 15"? 4) Other choice? For me, i want a tyre that will last at least 1.5yrs, good dry grip and good wet grip, esp wet cause i'm very scared in wet...already skid on the G3 before in wet and that's supposed ot be a good wet tyre...or maybe it was just be cornering too fast in the rain hehe.
  2. Guys, When I use my wiper, there are always a lot of streaks, giving me a very distorted vision of what is ahead. I can't even see the car number of the car right in front of me.... The wiper judders a little, but the problem are the streaks.... If raining at night, I can't even see the line divider. Everything is just blur. There was once I nearly banged onto the central divider... so please tell me what to do before I kill myself or others.....

  5. i must say that fiat's comeback is a total success. the new fiat models are rolling out. after seeing the fiat grande punto. you should've known that fiat is going in a maserati-like shape. the new stilo would be somewhat like that. there is also a fiat grande punto cc as a bonus. the new barchetta sports coupe and the new fiat 500(new generation UNO) would be some of the models which you ppl will be seeing.
  6. Went to check out a EP70 for sale this afternoon, and would like to cofirm the following: 1)Is power steering conversion for the EP70 possible? if so, how much would it cost and use parts from which donate car? 2) Changing of drive shaft shouldn't be a expensive exceris i presume. And i can only use the standard EP70 replacement parts only or is there other better alternative. 3) Does standard Yr 1988 EP70 comes with 5 speed gear box or should it be 4 speed only. 4) Lastly, if the rear suspension setup of the EP70 is a torsion beam setup (hopefuly i am right), is it difficult to tune the starlet suspension to be more stable on cornering?
  7. Hi guys, besides V-Cool what other brand is good & not so "X". i call up V-cool they told me their product cost from $950-$1200 for a 2000cc car. What do your think?
  8. Ahem..... Now is finally my turn to post on some inconsiderate & dangerous drivers on the road This morning at around 8.45am on ECP towards Changi Airport, there is this K12 'Chocolate' color Marchie with the number plate of SCQ 32xx whom is driving dangerously, doing zig zagging without signalling his intentions To this 'Rally driver' if you happened to browse through this forum, i'm the black Mazda 3 on lane 2 whom you have cut into without any signalling jus after the Tanjong Pagar entrance to ECP and for your information my bumper was jus inches away from your rear when you execute your superb overtaking drill from lane 1 You and me and many others at that particular time & venue are just driving a normal saloon and there are no super cars around so there's no need for you to show off your car's powerness to me or to anyone else If you are really in a hurry, please be considerate enough to signal your intentions & overtake others with due care, this in turn would make you a roadworthy driver and at the same time create lesser brake pad wear & tear for others My above post is not to vent my anger but jus hope that if you happen to read this post, please do some reflections on yourself
  9. which is a better one? which is more effective on TS? can someone enlighten me. thanks
  10. Klasse RULES..... Comparison between Zaino, Meguiar, KLasse etc check out http://www.deckowski.com/wax%20off/results.htm Another link: http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...27&pagenumber=1 Extract: First of all, let me start by saying that both Klasse and Zaino are exceptional products, and that I've used both with great success and results. A product for every need. The first big difference between the Klasse and Zaino lines is that if you want to wash and wax your car with the Zaino products, you'll need a minimum of 3 different products - the car wash, a reactant, and the protectant (i.e. wax). With Klasse, you can use the one product (All-In-One) to meet all three needs, should you wish. A LOT of products for ONE need. To take that one step further, Zaino requires a bonding process different from any other product I've encountered. First of all, their wax won't stick to the paint without either a "primer" or another chemical added to the wax to make the bond. So, that means that you need to buy a bottle of a product called Z1, which is that primer step, or a kit of ZFX, which is a chemical which you add to the protectant (i.e. wax) in order to make it bond. So you have to take the bottle, squirt in the Z2, then add some drops of ZFX, and shake vigorously. Anything that you mix up but don't use is waste because of the chemical reaction. Any similarities? Yes, actually. Both being synthetics, they have a lot in common. First, you need only apply about an ounce of product in order to coat the entire car. Also, each product (Z2, Z5, A-I-O or Sealant Glaze) can be layered upon the previous layer to increase the level of protection. Cost conscious? If you are looking for the best value, consider this. The Klasse All-In-One is approximately 17 fluid ounces. If you use one ounce per layer, that's a cost of $1.14 per use. If you use the Z2 and ZFX combination, the cost is $4.13 per use (depending on how much ZFX you use) - almost 400% more per application! One thing that was really fun about using Zaino was that I got to spend more time waxing my car, which I thoroughly enjoy. But now that I use Klasse, I have more money for gas, and more time to drive!
  11. Hi, i am generally new in driving. Parking always need to adjust here and there. Seldom get it one time right in reversing parking. But last weekend, while trying to reverse to park somewhere near Ang Mo Kio Ave 10, one idiot just comes behind and swerve his car head-in first to my eyeing slot. Felt so frustrated, but didn't bother to reason out with him. Felt that these people really idiotic. It's there a common protoccol to 'tell' people you are there first?
