I am extremely apprehensive about painting a brand new or near brand new or whatever classy expensive cars people have MATT BLACK However i am respectful of views of others, so people who do that, do enlighten me on why. 1st of all, it's a waste of money. 2ndly, the paint will spoil very quickly 3rdly, dirt and grime hitches on very easily last but not least, it's quite ugly duncha think? -
Hi all, Decided to do a DIY on my brake calipers. However I'm not into the spraying kind, instead I'm going for the paint with paint brush kind. I've did some research and found this brand, any of you know where to get this paint? Does it comes in paint brush kind or only spraying can kinds? Please advise... Regards, Jon.

The sender saw these two cars with paint deliberately splashed across their bonnets. A security camera should be installed at the carpark, he suggests. STOMPer sammy says: "I saw this at Blk 114a Bedok North Street 2, muti-storey carpark. "I wonder if the police will be able to catch the culprits behind this. "And I hope that HDB can consider installing cameras at the MSCP".

Was informed by the police that some cars was splashed with paint. Total nine cars Kenna. White paint on the bonnet and dripped to the headlamp. Some small drop on windscreen. Sian already... Any car spray shop open on sun? What can I do now?

preferably in the east. color: ferrari red i actually used spray paint and just finished touching up the car...but its messy and i have to use turpentine as the paint gets on my hands

Hellloooo all ,,,,scouting for a good painter for my car and as i went to MSP as recommended by the forum ,My friend and i went to this big shop at 51 defu lane 9 ...almost got fleeced and conned by the USED CAR PAINTERS AT THE BACK ( wrong shop ) ,as there were 4 different car workshops there....quoted me a ridiculous price for my friends porsche a ..by this tall GUY called "AH KEAT" :angry: :angry: guys beware !!! at 9k so luckily got to MSP and quoted my friend only 4k for nano and a years warranty...good finish......

As topic. I suppose most spray shop can do the paint, but I need the shop to be able to take out the panel safely (ala no damage & scratches) . I am asking as my panel has worn & would like to restored the look, & my attempt to take out the panel result in a few more wriggles to the panel as the radio ganna stuck to the panel & the frame can't be taken out.... This is how the panel looks like. Not exactly the same, but similar. Panel Anyone that know, can give address to the shop or person here or PM me. Thanks.

I'm changing the front of my brakes to red brembos and the back keeping them stock. Since the last post on painting calipers was more than 3 years back, anyone with any recommendation on where to get my back calipers painted red to match my front? Thks!

I got a parallel imported toyota wish. And i'm looking for touch-up paint The color code is 3P2, however, Borneo motor wont sell to parellel imported car like me, and my authorized dealer is uncontactable. anyone know where i can get this color? Really appreciate some help here =)

Hi, 1 paint shop recommend putting 2 layers of laquer over, which will gives better protection to scratches and also gives off deep shine. Has anyone tried this? Is it better to spend $$$ on pps or on the 2x laquer?

Recently, my white car just took a major scratch from a flying debris on the road. The scratch is black and about 2cm by 1cm in shape. I'm concern, if this scratch would lead to rusting underneath the paint?? Also, i saw some touch up marker selling at some car accessories shop, are these reliable?? Whats the right way to use it to prevent rusting etc?? Anyone know how i can touch it up myself?? regards

Finally did the GS300 as requested by one of the bros ( Sorry i forgot your name ) Car was badly beaten up as it's a weekly maid washen car. Did a clean up.. Body - Wash < Clay < 501 ,< 105 < Aquawax Wipedown Wheels - APC < Wash with DG shampoo < Apply some 501 to clean some stains. Results

Hi, I've got kerb rash on 3 of my 4 rims. It's not major, and nothing a bit of touchup paint/pen cannot do. The snag is that my rims are gold in color, so there are 2 cause of concerns: 1) Finding the correct color 2) Can the touchup withstand the elements (don't want fading after a couple of weeks of rain/wash/sunshine)? Any suggestions?

hi guys, anyone can advice on what kind of products to get to get some paint off my car? My wife drove over something and now i have puple paint on my side mirror and some lines and dots on the left hand side of my car. Is there any way to remove them with me respray my car? thanks for any adice given.

I know there's a couple of thread for paint job. But i only want to spray little portion of my front n rear bumper to matte black. (need not remove the bumper for spraying, from what i see) front = the protruding portion at the lower side of the bumper, something like what a diffuser will look like. rear = the protruding portion of the rear bumper linking to the lower side of the rectangle portion where the exhaust is ( something like SSS the exhaust portion) Something like the size of 1 spoiler. Wonder where can find the cheapest and moderate workmanship in SG (not keen to go JB) Around $200 can be done? Is there any freelancer or should i just use matte black sticker? Afraid sticking on will drop, although i seen alot cars did that.

is it normal for particles to get stuck when the shop is spraying the bodykit ? Just gotten a spoiler and realise one spot where i suspect the surface was not clean properly before they spray .. if its the norm, i will just live with it..
