  1. Actually, the scratch is more like a "scrape", slightly larger than one hand's width, and about 6 inches length, affecting both front and rear doors on one side. Brought to a workshop (which shall not be named here), and was quoted about $380 - this is for repairing the damage and respraying the two doors, plus respraying the front bumper which was involved in another minor scrape earlier. Though have been driving for some years, this is the first time I've to repair a scratch on my car. Which is a good thing, actually... But would like some advice on the price range for such a repair on 2 doors + 1 bumper - is the quote reasonable, or I kena ??
  2. as turning in the mscp in a tight corner and was abit too complacent. Ended up with the area above the rear wheel impacting the edge of the wall. Sian Half. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendation of where to repair these damages? agar agar how much? Dont have to be top notch, just want to reduce the scar , if not see liao damn sian. thanks.
  3. Hi, My apologies if I have posted in the wrong forum. Was away for the week and left my car parked in the MSCP. When I went and take my car today, I discovered the bumper and boot have quite a lot of white dots (paints spilled from the MSCP wall painting). Apparently, when they paint the carpark, my car was not fully covered. The paints have dried and I am unable to scratch them off. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about in removing the paint? Thank you.
  4. I tried wax but it can get rid abit.. but very hard to remove all.. since big portion of scratched paint.. anyone got experience and wanna share what to use?
  5. After weeks of repainting on my block, my car does not get the paint. This morning, I saw my car got the small drips white paints across all my car when they start painting the next block. I think that they do not cover my car and stong wind blow. Talk to the site supervisor, he says he will use the wax to clean it. I am a bit worry how they will do it as they may not be professional waxer. I wonder if they can compensate for the outside workshop waxing or even polishing if needed? Anyone with the same experience? Even they offer waxing, I think that I will go car wash first before using waxing. I think that they will only apply spot by spot. For best effect, it need to wax the whole car as the paints all across the car. I can slightly stretch it off from glass but do dare to stretch off from metal chassic. If they willing to compensate the $$$ for waxing or even polishing then problem easy solved. This is huge estima, I wonder how the bangadesh worker will wax it... ? My bb still 2.5 yrs. Hope to hear with the same experience. I am not free tommorrow and Friday. Not sure the paint will be tough stain on the car after few days.

  7. Any specialist in art/design can answer this question? What's the difference between Water Colour, Poster Colour and Acrylic Colour/Paint? All come in tubes in a box. Acrylic is suitable for what medium? Can dilute with water or need something else? Water and Poster Colour look pretty much the same and can be used on paper, so why the diff? Went to buy some art supplies and realise that there is a great variety available these days. Blur
  8. http://newpaper.asia1.com.sg/news/story/0,...,177746,00.html My gf loves this car I say I whole lifetime also cannot afford, the paintwork alone itself can buy a good car.

  10. This is something I've always wondered... For some reason, all you have to do is to tell the spray shop your color code and he'll be able to do mix the correct paint out for your ride for spray. Has anyone ever encountered any spray shops that can't mix the paint to a colour code that your want? I wonder how many thousands of codes and paint mixture combinations formulas these shops have...
