  9. Lau Auntie tau kee liao!!! Chia pai pang tua tua!!!! http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg..._cc_member.html STOMPer Lim encountered a woman, allegedly a member of the Chong Pang Community Club, who chased him out of the club's basketball court so that she could park her car there. The STOMPer wrote: "I was playing basketball at Chong Pang Community Club. "Then came a black weekend car, and the driver parked it right inside the basketball court! "An old lady came out and demanded that we go to the other end to play. "She asked if we were going to be responsible if we hit her car with the ball. "I told her that the court was not closed and that she should not park there. "I checked with the Community Club's manager and confirmed that court is open for play. "So why did that Community Club member talk like that? "They are entitled to free parking at the HDB car park, so why insist on parking on the basketball court? "If Chong Pang Community Club wanted to allow all members to park there at night, then they should by all means close the basketball court. "That incident really spoilt my night."

The STOMPer, who came across a photo of this incident online, wrote: "I came across this picture of an accident in some carpark in Singapore. "How did the car even manage to get there? "It's hilarious that someone with a valid driving license land themselves in such an awkward situation."

  21. Dear all, Just to share with all of you to prevent another victim $ been suck away. This morning my ride was parked at block 186 along woodland Industrial Park E6. While waiting for my wife (Driving lesson) and having breakfast from 10.30am to 12.30pm, my ride was clamped by the premises management. I went to ask them for a reason and the man told me I have exceeded the grace period of 1 hr. I was puzzled and asked him where was the sign board. His reply was that there is a warning notice when I drive into the CP. I was like "WTF". I went to see the sign board which indicated only "Unauthorized, Indiscriminate or Illegally parked vehicles will be wheel clamped" BUT it doesnt indicate the grace period. I have no time to argue but to pay $100 for them to release the wheel clamp. Sway!
  22. I was exiting the car park at Bishan Junction 8 shopping centre, and there was a bump at the exit before you hit the road. I was driving at very slow speed uphill and after moving up the bump there was a sound of something scraping my undercarriage. Has anyone experienced the same there before? I didn't experience any scraping at other bumps before. I am pretty certain its the stone bump is the culprit as there seemed to be multiple deep scratches on the bump after I walked past today and not the small square plastic dividing the enter/exit lanes scraping my undercarriage. Now I worry that my undercarriage could be damaged.
  23. Is it possible to buy a season parking disc for a location that you do not live. The SPT of One North is making a killing! It is a whopping 90 bucks a month and I don't even live there. I have considered Transitlink's Park and Ride scheme. Was thinking of parking at the designated Ghim Moh carpark and taking the free shuttle bus to One North. I'm just wondering if it is possible to just buy the SPT of P&R which costs only 30 bucks. I don't want the EZLink card which is of no use to me at $40 and it lasts only a month and deducts adult fare. Furthermore, you it cannot be revalued. Another way is to give my wife the P&R EZLink card while I use the P&R SPT . P&R is also damn leychey. Read what I found at Transitlink's website:
