Hi guys, i have just installed the pioneer 8650 head unit and find that the rececption of the radio not good like the 93.3 is rather bad. Does anyone using the head unit have this problem? Thanks -

hw ur think about this hu? saw its tft screen, very nice.... compare to sony GT700 which i'm using nw, is it worth the change? last time using pioneer 9650, sound definitely better than gt700 though

Hi Anyone know how to set the radio stations for Pioneer DEH-6850?? I cannot get it and the always scanned and dun get to the stations I want. And also how to set the time for the HU? I just got this but dunno how to play with it as I dun have manual book. Thanks in advance. -

my lao pok chia comes with this pioneer keh p6950 player..but i got a question..how the hell can i change the display time on the HU? i pressed almost every single button on the hu bu cannot leh..anyone can help?

Pioneer prs-d4000f or Genesis P4? Not sure which amp is better...any recommendatioins? I enjoy listening to music with clarity...not the BOOM BOOM type...cheers

I got the Pioneer AVIC D3 from Amazon.com for about 1.2k (inc shipping/gst w vpost). First look I have to say its one of the best designed DVD player on the market now. It sits flush in your car and the buttons look great (not some cheena or badly designed graphic user interface). + points - Connect directly to your ipod, can play music and video (must get optional cable) - Customisable colored buttons (on the outside buttons, limited customisation on the GUI) - Direct slot loading DVD/CD - Can connect to Rear View Camera - Very customisable sound output Downside is built-in GPS can't be used, and Radio FM tunes to only odd frequencies (so no 95.0, 92.4FM) For the price of 2 din dvd players on the market now (from dealers), i think this is a damn good buy. Only prob is warranty, let's hope it doesnt break ! Interested to get the adaptor for ipod for 6850, however can the headunit control the ipod? thoughts of changing to another headunit which can direct connect to ipod without buying the adaptor. Any suggestion?

I found out that the cost of these 2 units are about the same price +/- $100. Which do you guys/gals think is a better system? Will be installed with a reverse camera with no amp and stock speakers in small car. Any good camera to intro? Heard good ones from Fujitsu cost $500++ Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks

Should I trade in my Sony CDX-GT350S head unit and CDX-757MX CD/MP3 changer to the Pioneer AVH-P6850DVD? The radio reception for the Sony CDX-GT350S was very poor and the CDX-757MX CD/MP3 changer was slow in disc change. Found the Pioneer AVH-P6850DVD was selling at $1680 at Sim Lim Tower, exclude installation and without warranty. I love the built in 6 DVD changer. Any brother here using the Pioneer AVH-P6850DVD? care to comment on the sound and video quality?

I tried searching the net but can't find any pics. Anyone has any pics on how the head unit looks like when the face is slide down? I assume this is possible since the website ways there is an auto-slide face? Appreciate any info. Thanks!

Just change my car AUDIO system to PIONEER that can play MP3 songs. The player is able to play MP3 CDs which i bought however when i tried to play my own compiled R-W CDs(Which i have copied mp3 songs into), the player cant detect any songs! I checked thro the songs format, they are all in MP3 format leh. Any bro and sis can advise. Thanks

Anyone has any rough idea how much it would be to repair the LCD of a Pioneer HU? There's an entire dead line on my 8650 HU and it's not under warrenty. It works fine but that line is an eyesore :) Anyone know roughly how much i'd have to pay to get it fixed or replaced?

Hi bros, I'm must say I'm pretty new in ICE and i really need help in some stuff. Well, I'm currently shopping around for DVD players in the car and due to budget constrains, I've been looking for second hand head units. I've been quoted $1500 for the following: A second hand Pioneer AVX-7000 together with AVM p9000r(i assume?) and a XDV-p90 DVD changer. I think it also includes an analogue tv tuner but i don't know the details of it. Can you guys please advise? I'm also looking at first hand JVC KD-AVX1 and Pioneer DVH P-5850MP then intend to add a monitor to it or something. Any guys have any experiences with the sound quality of them? Please advice. Pardon the long thread. Hee...
