i ask @ SLS Edison, they quote $450. Is this price ok? SLT Edison very little pioneer stock left, but they suggest a panasonic HU(Dun remember its model, silver in colour, with OEL, is in the poster) for $580. is it gd? or any other OEL MP3 HU to recommand not more than $450?

Dear all, I guess several of you guys should own one pioneer DEH-P5550MP HH or other models. How do you rate the HU's ability to play mp3 CD? here's my story, i was so excited after i buy my DEH-P5550MP as i played those MP3 CDs that I bought in JB and it played w/o any glitch. Then i started to d/l many MP3s where I can compile into my own MP3 CD. However here's the nightmare starts, my burnt MP3 disc in CDR cannot be read by my DEH-P5550MP, it's stuck at the FRMTHREAD message. When i pass to my friend to play in his stock Civic's Kenwood's 2-din player, it play almost immediately. He let me try a CDR MP3 CD he burnt and my DEH-P5550MP played w/o any glitch almost immediately like those CDs i bought in JB. then i started to burn using different CDRs and CDRW but my DEH-P5550MP just stuck at the FRMTHREAD message. Until i give a try using SAMSUNG and SONY CDRW, then my DEH-P5550MP begins to play the disc after some 30 seconds of delay/scanning. But just now, it fail to read my SONY CDRW again (stucked at FRMTHREAD message all the way), so is the SAMSUNG CDRW but manage again after reload the CD. Some of the songs played are jerky too. I use Nero 6 Ultra to burnt my MP3 CDs, i also had Nero 5.5.xx. So did you guys encounter such problems, please share...its seems that my delight is turning to a nightmare..is that i chose the wrong brand in pioneer? please HELP....

Hi Brothers, Sisters, Any idea where i can get cheap Pioneer LCD for movie playback? I came across a few audio shops and mostly are charging S$2,000.00. Kind of expensive. If any brothers here has lobang and good deals, please recommend me. Thank you all in advance.

Hi all just wanna check if any guys here installed the Pioneer DEH-P7450MP? any comments? any idea what's the price now? searched a few past threads but not much comments abt it thinking of changing my 2-din pioneer (VIOS stock) to this how much will it cost to get a compartment to fill the empty slot? lastly, any comments abt AV ONE at Henderson/Pereira Rd? thinking of going there to fix up the HU thanks!

Besides the IP-BUS cable that connect the HU & Changer, there's another thinner wire that looks like this: Fuse Holder-------------| | |-----------------Changer | Ground------------------| Anyone knows where to connect the fuse to???
