Hihi, any gurus out there from the Nasi Padang meetup using the Pioneer 8650? I just changed to that HU and i have no idea how to tune the thing :) Would like some help from someone to tune the TA for me on the next wed meetup.. Any volunteers??

Hi all Thinking of changing my current Pioneer P6450 HU to a new one (either Pioneer again or Alpine) for my new ride. Current setup is MB Quartz tweeter + component speaker; normal rear door 6x9 speaker and a low-end Farenheit amp. Will retain the rest of the equipment except change HU. But which one?? Will appreciate any advice given...my budget for the new HU is about $350... Thks.

Hi all: My Pioneer 9650 automated front panel do not want to open up anymore making the whole set unusable anymore. Its a export set and repair fee at the service centre should be quite high as advised. BTW its about a year old only. Just want to know if there is any shops around which is able to repair the set at a lower price? Any recommendation? Thanks

Hi, I just tried setting the position selector to (Front Right), and I notice the headunit adjust the level of my left channel by -3dB That seems quite counter-intuitive? Shouldnt the right channel volume be lowered instead of the left channel? Any thoughts on this? thanks

Any bro's know how to access the treble control in Pioneer 3850? Think it's name HPF but can't seems to find it. Read thru' the manual but it doesn't help. It just indicate press audio until you see HPF. Done that but still no HPF. Anybody?

anyone heard of the Pioneer RS series.... what's so great about it where the whole series so freaking expensive??? Looks nice and pro...but are they really good??? share your thoughts.... P/S; dun go too technical, for the benefits of others and me

Hi there ... any1 know whether there are EQ settings set by ICE gurus for use in the later Pioneer HUs i.e. 6850 and upwardz. These can be the recmd or ideal EQ settings for say jazz, heavy metal music, rock, vocals etc. which we can use and save as "custom" EQ settings ... thanks in adv..

Plan to buy the Pioneer TS-WX22A subwoofer and place it under the driver seat or the rear boot space of my Toyota Wish. I already have my Sony power amplifier and CD changer under the driver seat. There is a storage tray under the passenger seat, not much space left. As I am wiring it up myself, I need to know whether I should parallel the rear speaker signal to the subwoofer before or after the amplifier?

Dear ice gurus, I'm looking for 2DIN players (don't want to see an extra hole beneath 1DIN player, although is useful to hold my HP and other stuff). Was at a audio shop yesterday... and come across this... was quoted for trade-in price of $420 for export set and $500 for local set, both comes with installation and wiring. Think the one I saw is silver in colour... anyway... how do you guys find this player? Is the price he quote reasonable? or this (was quoted about $600+ with trade-in), but this is too expensive for my budget

I noticed on Pioneer Europe website a new version of their iPod interface, the CD-IB100II. I enquired about the difference between this and the CD-IB100 with an installer and he in turn checked with Pioneer Singapore. Pioneer Singapore's reply to him was - It's the same as CD-IB100. What? The same? Why then do they bother to have a new model number? Marketing ploy? I don't think the Pioneer people know their products well. Any one knows what the differences are? Mukaiya

Hi guys! I just bought a pioneer 9650 export set from SLT. Price wise, its not too bad. The time alignment function is a fantastic feature, all passengers in the cabin can now enjoy a balanced sound. Other than that, the DSP is also very good. The sounds from my speakers are so much richer , though clarity is still not that improved cuz my components are lou ya ones The radio reception, though not as fantastic as i though it would be, its still a lot better than my previous HU. Question now... Where can I download the wallpaper and movies for the HU? I tried to find it at the pioneer site, but it seems pioneer is not very customer orientated
