Hi fellow KIA Peeps, May I know where do you send your car for servicing? Do you send it to Cycle and Carriage KIA Motors, or any recommended workshops that work purely on KIA cars, and have good recommendations? (as I realised some workshops are brand specific - they don't do certain cars as either the people have no knowledge, or it simply doesn't apply) Thanks in advance! Need to do some servicing soon, hence gathering some opinions and getting valuable feedback

Please delete if this is in-appropriate. Location is behind C&C Pandan, beside ayer rajah CC, the old Pandan Garden swimming pool. Fully indoor (sheltered, fans and big air coolers). 2 Astroturfs, 1 Hard court, and 1 Sand Court (Yes, beach volleyball indoors!) Bookings can be made online also! Just hope remotest chance my Alfa car key was picked up yesterday morning at Jln Kayu popular Thesavi prata shop and the person come to this forum to check. Was having breakfast at about 8 plus. Parked car right in front of shop so short distance to the table only. Somehow I must have dropped it. Couldn't find my key when I was getting up to leave. Checked wth shop owner n cleaners and searched around table on the floor and retrace my steps. No such luck. Would finder please call or SMS me at 9615 double seven 56? Thanks.

Hi all, Planning a meet-up with couple of old friends, how is the ambience at Red Dot (Dempsey)? Been to the outlet at Clarke Quay before and found it very packed. Say I need to buy a camera to record proceedings at home (to spy on children, elderly parents or maids)..where to buy? I dont want those real time streaming ones...but more of those able to record types.. Any suggestions? TQ!

UPDATED (25 August 2012, 3:13pm to add shopper's account) A 26-year-old man was found dead by the stairwell of a shopping centre in Raffles Place on Friday afternoon. Police said they responded to a call for assistance at 11 Collyer Quay, the site of The Arcade, at 4:34pm and, upon arrival, found the man motionless. The Indonesian-Chinese male was pronounced dead by paramedics shortly after 5pm. Channel NewsAsia quoted a money-changer at the centre, Mohd Ali, as saying that the deceased was from Batam and regularly changed money with money changers in the area, sometimes up to S$100,000. A man who was at the scene, 24-year-old investment analyst Asyraf, said that eye witnesses told him they found the dead body in the staircase and that the incident appeared to be a robbery that escalated into a killing. "We couldn't see the crime scene from where we were standing and there were no signs of blood or anything. There was a man in his twenties crying beside a closed door which led to the staircase, and I was told that he is actually the victim's brother. To my understanding, they were both robbed at the same time," he told Yahoo! Singapore Saturday. He described the crying man as Chinese with short black hair and wearing a white polo. "It was heart wrenching to see him cry like that, sort of like in a whimper, very exhausted, to know that your brother is behind the other side of the door lying in a pool of blood, dead. I couldn't bear to watch his misery any further and I took my leave after a few minutes," Asyraf added. Yahoo! Singapore understands that no arrests have been made, but police have classified this as an unnatural death and are investigating. CNA reported: McDonald's Place sold to Oxley Holdings for S$150m Posted: 10 April 2012 2341 hrs SINGAPORE: Boutique property developer Oxley Holdings has acquired McDonald's Place for S$150 million. In a statement released on Tuesday, Oxley said its subsidiary Oxley Sanctuary had purchased all seven strata commercial units in the freehold development located at King Albert Park from Valewood Investments Pte Ltd. The freehold two-storey commercial building is sited on a land area of 5,535 square metres that is zoned for commercial and residential use with a plot ratio of 3. The developer said it intends to set up a joint venture with Unique Rezi and Luxe Development to redevelop the property, subject to obtaining all the necessary approvals from the relevant authorities. Oxley will hold a 55 per cent share in the proposed joint venture, Luxe Development - a wholly owned subsidiary of Lian Beng Group - will own 15 per cent, with the balance 30 per cent share held by Unique Rezi. Hi bros, I was wondering what are the various types of gauges I can place in my car? I would like something that can monitor the voltage in my battery. And I also heard there's a gauge that can see whether you are stepping on the accelerator too much without any increase in acceleration. What are they called? Where can I get them, and how much will it cost for them to be installed? Thanks for any info!
