  1. My office has this newly joint female PR, so very eager to score point. Now, she wanted to evaluate a new product before dishing out, not knowing this the product has being evaluate extensively for 6 months with management endorsement! In the end, the product launch is delay for at least two months! She is just too proud to approach anyone. Furthermore, she accuses me of not doing my job on product knowledge. I am going to sit back and watch show on Monday. Sorry about this, just wanna relief my steam. KNNBPCB !!! [bounce1]

  5. http://www.straitstimes.com/ST%2BForum/Sto...ory_348514.html I WAS attacked on a train last Friday by a commuter who failed to obtain a seat from me. My assailant pushed me to the ground and pummelled me repeatedly. When I reported the matter at the control booth in the Bugis station, I was advised to seek treatment and lodge a police report. But I did not file a police report after I was told by the officer at the Bedok North station that a report would not help catch my assailant as the police and the train officials could not identify him. This advice was given despite the fact that I had told the woman police officer that I could identify the man easily and that there were many witnesses to the attack. The police officer's reply was that the above was of no help as his actual identity was still unknown. The officer added that I should have used the emergency button to stop the train to allow the train staff to detain the assailant. I find the explanation I was given puzzling. It is absurd that the authorities are unable to investigate an assault in public on a train, and offer little but sympathy over the incident, even if the injuries I suffered were not severe. 6. need to drop something at (without parking) riverside point on monday morning rush hours between 8-9am am planning to take this route => TPE - KPE - Nicoll Highway - Middle Road - North Bridge Road - and all the way straight down till Parliament House area and then turn right towards Clarke Quay area and try to find a convenient stop point.. just wondering, by taking this route, i will kena only one ERP gantry along Nicoll Highway right? Would this be the most recommended route with the view of minimising ERP gantries? thanks...
  7. To those who drive there, do you find it difficult to find the place? Went there last weekend to recky-recky. I parked at JP1 carpark and then tried to find my way there. To my astonishment, there is not clear indicator at all at JP1 on how to go to JP2. Only sign I saw was "NTUC Xtra at level 3 JP2" and I was like, "yea, so where the hell is JP2?". Wanted to go to the info counter to ask but there was long queue to redeem free gift. So I didn't bother. Then went up and down at JP1 and still can't find the entance, bo chup, just went to the info counter to ask the staff and then they said it's right infront of the MRT entrance. WTF... Nevermind, so I went over to the entrance and true enough, it's damn obvious to those who come by MRT will definitely not miss the JP2 extension on the left hand side. So, it says 3rd level but there's only 2 level, here the hell is level 3? As it seems, there's only level 1 and then 3. Upon reaching the level of NTUC Xtra, the arrow sign that points to the place is "diagonal" and again I went to the wrong alley on the left. Finally I found that it was on the dark central cave-like entrance and the mart is on the left side. So damn hidden. I swear I'll never go there ever again... So damn pissed off.

  10. Just come to realized that Caltex now giving 1 point per litre of petrol pumped. No wonder I am getting a lot less points now than before. I've been on Caltex for years but now I am going to switch. For comparison sake; Caltex 1 pt per litre 1200 pts for $40 petrol voucher Esso 1 pt per $1.25 spent 750 pts for $30 instant petrol redemption Quite obvious which one better value.
  11. Hi everyone, not sure this has been asked before, therefore please be patient. can anyone please share on how to calculate the break-even point for your car loan (rule of 78) versus the value of your car. for example, if i am on 7 years loan, based on the amortization of the loan versus the parf/coe (whatever) value, how to calculate at which juncture will you not need to top up any money and the dealer will take in the car at the loan value. I know all cars are different in re-sale value and also dependent on the interest rate, therefore any calculation will be great. thanks in advance. cheers!

  13. June 8, 2008 Woman stabbed to death at Causeway point A DISHWASHER was stabbed to death at the Causeway Point shopping centre on Sunday moring. The 45-year-old woman, whom colleagues knew as 'Shirley', was working at the centre's food court when she was attacked, suffering multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene at about 10.40am. Police have classified the case as murder, and are looking for a 60-year-old Chinese man to assist in investigations. 21. http://www.straitstimes.com/Latest%2BNews/...19.html?vgnmr=1 Maid jailed three months for sitting on boy's groin AN INDONESIAN maid who sat on the groin area of a naked two-year-old boy while she was naked from the waist down was jailed for three months on Friday. The 30-year-old domestic worker pleaded guilty last month to committing an obscene act at a condominium in Serangoon on June 22 this year. Deputy Public Prosecutor Crystal Ong had told the court that the maid did this to anger her employer who had taken away her mobile phone. The pony-tailed woman did not want to work any more after one and a half years and wanted to be sent home. That afternoon, the boy's 29-year-old mother was checking on him in his bedroom when she opened the door and found the semi-naked maid clad only in T-shirt, coming into contact with the victim's groin area. On seeing her employer, the maid immediately got up. Shocked, the child's mother called her husband, who came home and later took the maid to the agency. Pressing for a jail sentence, DPP Ong said the maid had abused her position and made use of the victim for her own heinous means. She had no regard for the victim whom she exploited as part of her plan. What she did was revolting and offensive, she added. Read the full report in Saturday's edition of The Straits Times. --------- http://www.straitstimes.com/Latest%2...9.html?vgnmr=1 DPP Ong neber clarify what position in karma sutra was tat leh? dun sound doggy to me... oops i mean dodgy.
  22. My 2 back tyres, (even though i pumped them up at the same time and at the same pressure), after a while, 1 tyre will appear more deflated as compared to the other. Also, whenever i pump, i will always encounter the situation where i will need a longer time to pump up the "problematic" tyre. Somehow when i pump the problematic tyre, i will encounter "error reading" on the pump station air pump gauge. I have no problems with the other 3 tyres though. As such, i suspect there could be a small puncture which i cannot see . Hence, i am thinking of going to a tyre workshop to fix up my tyre problem... is there any tyre shop that you would recommend in AMK Auto point building? thanks
  23. A bit confuse on abovementioned route, i need to go there tomolo morning (10am), what is the recommended route? how much will be the ERP like? Thank in advance...
