Anyone know if I can apply speedpass for DBS esso card and i use the card let my dad use the speedpass. Will the smiles points end up in the same smiles account or will it be seperate?

k my friend is on a p plate license... so from my understanding she has only 12 points to spare... whereas seasoned drivers with a clean record have 24points to spare... i also understand that if i get 25points or more in 24 months (for 1st timers) i will get a suspension... but for the p-plate driver, if she get 13points or more in 12months she will get her license revoked and NOT suspened... is this correct? i believe so... now the thing is, in her 1st few months of driving, she kanna 4points... so this 4 points will expire in 12months... just nice the day her points expired, she kanna beat red-light 12points... so now she has checked with DIPS, she has no offenses now record is clear... but if she goes and pay her fine for the beat red light 12 points, will she be safe or you think license revoked?... big risk here cause its revoke and not suspend... anybody knows?

Repost due to Outage SINGAPORE : From June 7, drivers can go online to find out how many traffic demerit points they have chalked up or if they have any outstanding traffic summons. The new online service, the Electronic Driver Data Information and Enquiry System, also allows applicants to find out the status on new driving licences. An Identity Card number, vehicle number and driver's licence serial number are needed for verification. For foreign vehicles, access to the site can be done by using a vehicle number. Once logged on, the website will provide a summary of traffic offences that have been paid up. The website includes information about non-demerit offences as well - like parking summons. Drivers can log on to www.ecitizen.gov.sg or http://www.spf.gov.sg/epc/index.html to access the information -

Hi all, want to check if you have the AMEX card from UOB and got your rewards points deducted this statement without informing you? I called UOB and they claimed they credited the points wrongly thus deducting now. They said this affects ALL UOB Amex card holders. So if you have UOB Amex card, please check and also let your friends know. So anyone else exprience it?

Be careful along that stretch....it is 70km/h limit altho the sign says 60km/h

Effective May 2010! Always thought esso has the best value in terms of discounts and especially their points compared to shell and caltex. Not anymore! This has been one of my main reasons for pumping Esso. Time to change brand? EDIT: Previously was 1 smile points for every $1.25 spent.

hello bros, i heard from a friend that if you get a class 2B licence after you hold a class 3 licence for more than a year, your demerit points limit will be reset to 12 again because class 2B and class 3 shares the same demerit points system. is this still true now? even if this is true... there's no need to put on the P plate on your car even though your demerit points limit is reset to 12 right? (but of course u still gotta put on your P plate if u're riding a bike) -
Kena 12 points for speeding, but strangely no fine. Must appear in court (got the letter already). What am I looking at?

Hi guys, like to consult MCF brothers and sisters who might have been in a similar situation before. My friend just received a TP letter charging him for 'driving without consideration for other persons'. The offence carries a $200 fine and 9 demerit points. My friend just wanted to pay the fine and get it over with, but I thought the outcome was unjust. Here's what happen on the road: He stopped behind a lorry which is dropping passengers. In an attempt to overtake the lorry, he signalled right and checked his blind spot. That was when a foreign motorcycle rammed past his right car mirror, losing his balance and crashing onto the road. The right car mirror broke into pieces as a result of the impact. Needless to say, both road users could not resolve the dispute, each making allegations at one another. Due to abrasions on the foreign motorcyclist, he checked into a hospital. My friend was then called down by TP to record a statement. Subsequently, this notice of traffic offence arrived in the mailbox. I'm not sure how TP arrived at the conclusion that my friend drove without consideration, bearing in mind that his car was stationary when the bike crashed into his mirror. Of course, I understand that this is just his side of the story, and the IO probably have a different view on the accident. But does that mean that every car driver has to be penalized for the recklessness of other road users? (Especially locally unqualified foreign road users who are not familiar with traffic rules and safety) Thanks for reading, I guess I just wanted to find out if its worthy to pursue the case further or just get it over with. My friend can't even be bothered to appeal the offence, saying its a waste of time.

Some questions regarding the walkabout tickets... How much action can one expect to see with these tickets? Since the whole track is barricade, standing at street level may not offer much of a view? What kind of fringe programs can walkabout people expect? I'm thinking of getting to Marina Sq to soak in the roar of the engine, and maybe get a sneak peek if possible. They can't possibly block all the views right... How about overhead bridge? I feel myself getting more excited abt Sg F1 as the date draw closer...

Hi, I have a friend already rec'd 18 demerit points and he got another 24 points today for speeding (speed camera) meaning total 42 points, can someone let me know how long will be the suspension ? And how much he will likely be fined? Anyway, he could escape suspend? Thanks in advance.

Just went to top-up petrol at Caltex, from 1 Nov their points system is $1.25 for 1 point. Think same as Shell now.

Hi guys, I'm posting to enquiry on behalf of a friend who has committed a traffic offence. This is the situation. On a 4 lane road, with the rightmost lane being the lane that turns to the right, while the remaining 3 lanes are heading straight. While the traffic lights are red, and only the right turn arrow is green, my friend turned from the second lane from the right which is a straight lane. As there is a red light camera there. Very likely the car is captured on camera. Now, beating the red light constitutes a 12 point + $200. My question is how about turning right on a lane that is supposed to be heading straight, how many points will that be? I checked the TP site, and I think the nearest offence that I can find is "forming incorrectly when turning left or right". Is this the right one? Is there any chance of appeal in such situation?
