As topic, I engaged a quite reputable polisher who provided doorstep service but due to the nearing of CNY they decided to make it the other way round meaning you have to go to their place. Well I'm fine with it, so i booked a slot with them and they were supposed to get back to me to confirm the bookings which they never did. I then took the initiative to call them and then ask whether my car is do-able since it has a body decal. The replied was "yes" . The day before my unconfirmed appointment, I got this sms from them saying "We can't do it for you because your car is full of decal". This is my first time attempting to get a polish for my car so I dunno any about it. So is this true ? Anyway my decal is those glossy type.

i heard some people say Liquid Glass polish is legendary, after layering can protect from bird s--t even if the s--t dried for a few weeks under sun. Is that really true? And where can we get it? Don't see in autobacs or any auto store around

HI all MCF bros out there. I was just wondering how can I make my baby more bright and shiny? I want to make sure my baby is always in a tip top condition. I heard in many forums Silver and grey cars will not show much improvement even regular polishing and waxing! Is that true? Can some pros help me out here? I know Sliver cars are easy to maintain but to make it shine is not easy.

recently one of my fren told me of this RM$20 polish in JB. not far from causeway. any bros got any idea is this zun anot? my fren said he drive past he saw signboard. didnt have time to try tat time. $20 polish i tinking abit too ridiculous. is there any gimmicks or wad?

After applying aquawax 1 week ago, can polish? would it remove the layer of aquawax? i m referring to DG Product noob to DG products so appreciate any help i can get.

w no OT , so free on week end now, hv more time to do car wash. ( me normally wash / polish 2 months once ) just check w ppl here how often u wash ur car ??? 1. wash w water ( or add a bit 901 ) every day or every week. finish w quick detailer 521 or AW 951. n do complete wash / polish once a month (or 2 month once ) w 901-101-601-105-tc/es. 2. every wash : do complete wash / polish 901 - 101/501/clay bar -601 - 105 - tc/es/aw do every week / 2 weeks / 1,2 months. 3. any1 do wash > 3 months ???

Finally tried machine polishing myself .....Managed to remove swirls with the help from my cousins using Makita 9227C (PO91 & FF106).... Comments welcome...

Dear All, Like to polish my 5 months old black civic. Any lobang? My friend told me that CS-II has promotion during the car show (20 + 5 %) and cost around $240. Also from the car mag, V-cool has this car polish service- ultramaster..seem quite good with 8 steps of preparation. Like to seek bro advice on which one is value for $$$. Another option is to go to JB to sign up one car polish package since I go there every 2 weeks to shop/pump. Thank you.

Hi all, today i happen to be at suntec city carpark, saw that a young tennage guy had finish polishing the legacy and he was going to shift the car away, when he got into the car, it suddenly went out of control and zoom it went pass me and my friend and hit the cars that were parked at the parking lots.My friend altis kena from the car but its not that serious as compared to the lancer beside it.Here are some of the pics i have taken, poor quality due to scared ppl see then hand shake =P my friend altis and the lancer beside it the legency

Just got my new ride yesterday. Noob to detailing, just used the Wash and Wax solution previously and waxed once or twice. I'm not detailing mad so my requirements are something simple without too much fuss Don't need very high standard also. After doing some basic reading of car washing and detailing, think the correct procedure is to wash, polish and then use a sealant. My car is greyish silver in color. Any recommendations for brands of wash, polish and sealant that i can get from Carrefour (going there tomorrow)? Is claybar recommended for a new car? Thanks for any replies in advance!

My oh My.. My arms hurt But guys, It was worth the effort! The pictures don't really tell much cause the car was under the shade... But... I am DAMN DAMN amazed by what 101 and 105 can do. =] The whole car feels like butter now... I mean, SERIOUSLY! The after pics!! P.S., i spent 2 freaking hours... Ohman. Tired and shag... Behold the after pics ! Front bonnet damn reflective, but can't really see.. cause.. lighting conditions bad! Side view Side view again Rear.. BONNET! Front drivers' Door. AND FINALLY, MY WHOLE RANGE OF PRODUCTS THAT I HAVE USED. =] It's now like 6.43, and I am so going to bathe, and then go for my dinner! Ciao guys!! Once again, To those of you who don't use Duragloss, I hope these pics do entice you.. But then again, It's a matter of personal preference. All 3 people in Latio Club who have used DG, 2 Pearl White and One Sapphire Black( You know who you are), All have given good reviews! Goodbye!! ( My hands smell like.... 101 now) -
While washing my car, I saw this Ah-Pek polishing another Stream ... so I popped over to check it out and chat with the owner and "ah-pek polisher". To my surprise the car surface is very very smooth on a dark gray Stream and he only charged $40 !!!! (According to the owner, the ah-pek started work from 11am and when I saw them, it was 3pm). I also checked out his barang barang and notice most of his polish are self-packed mineral water bottles. So I don't know what he uses. Question is, it's dirt cheap but worth it ?
