i have a picanto which seems to run on a very low fc, hope to get some advise on what i can do. Picanto auto 2009 Average fc 10.5km/l Usual load 2 person 60% highway, 40% urban No jam usual travel Rev from stop not above 2.5 Seldom rev past 3 2 amps with 12 inch woffer ice installed Installed a diy power stabaliser from a forumer here 15inch rim with normal tyres Some led installed Car spare tire already removed and weight in car is reduced to minimal Using ron95 esso Car have bad low end but once hit 3rd gear drivbility increased by a lot. On sj-cai with heat shield from whitesnail Went to c&c about the poor fc they say oversized rims Did a flywheel check, engine compression, sparks plug check and find it to be perfect. Using knn blue ice air filter Using very compatible sparks plug for the car Technician say dunno what else can cause such poor fc. Car quite silent with little vibration when engine is on. Previous owner did-- fuel line cut (already replaced with good line) Vaccum line cut (already replaced with good line) Decat (already replaced with original cat) Operated exhaust (already replaced with stock exos) Can anyone help by telling me what else can i do? I envy those normal pica that can easily hit 350-400km when mine have not even hit past 275 before when my 09 engine is suppose to be newer that those 08 ones.

Keeps going to Start Up repair function, but yet fail to repair properly. So It just keeps repeating this cycle. Tried to boot in safe mode but in vain, as it keeps going to start up repair. Any repair shop to recommend which can help in the recovery of my hard disk data? Many thanks

Hi all, Does anyone knows how to dismantle the Wira Speedometer for repair? My brother's Wira's speedometer isn't working most of the time and the odometer (mileage) is confirmed not working. Even if that day the speedometer is working, the odometer doesn't increase already. The mechnics suggested replacing the whole speedometer S$300? But i did a quick check online and saw alot of ppl complaining about the same thing. Speedometer sometimes not working but odometer dead. But someone managed to take it apart and reassembled it and it worked. So I guess this could be because some of the parts inside is loose or fell out of place. I think I might be able to help him find a cheaper speedometer in JB but I worry this is a chronic problem and keeps coming back. Maybe all the used spare parts shops need to do is reassemble them and resell it again. I've also done a quick check in MCF but couldn't managed to search for anything. Appreciate some advise. Thanks.

i have heard that the onboard computer for the gearbox are not very responsive under urban conditions. This is especially so in 1st/2nd gears during traffic jam. is it true? any owner in sg have any comment on it?!

due to the reflection problem, sometime under bright sunlight my HU screen almost unusable. cannot see anything on screen must block out the light then can view. any suggestion ? Regards

How to handle? I saw cockroaches before and just now, some insect I can't identify. Will parking under blazing sun helps? Haha, don't want to try pandan leaves. I don't want to gas them out with insecticide, that's last resort.

hi bro out there, I need some help with my camry. Recently been hearing some strange noise seem to come from the front left drive shalf. Not sure is it tyre or drive shalf or something else. Thinking to send back to Toyota to check but car is already out of warranty and it'll be expensive to go toyota. any good workshop near west area to recommend for Camry repair ? Appreciate v much for help.

I m having this problem with my mother since young, now i already 27 yrs old still the same. I go oversea travel, she will stop me say i waste money travel, life too comfy, only know how to travel, enjoy life etc, for ur info i only go nearby country like bkk, malaysia, 1 yr once, i think its not a lot n costly. i go for road trip to malaysia she will stop me say that will kena rob, kill, buang etc, stay in spore better, i go JB for dinner she will stop me say JB crime rate very high, will kill, rob, i 1 am haven't come home she will call me and ask me go home asap, sleep too late bad for health, i very angry sometime, wonder why my freedom always need to be restricted, i need to tell lies like go friend bbq chalet etc den can stay out for a night or drive my car out of spore secretly, i m a laughing stock among my friends as they always laugh at me that i am mummy boy, so old liao mommy still control me like a 5 yrs old kid... Every nite go for friends gathering confirm cannot stay late etc coz the phone will be bombarded. She even say when i get my flat, move out, she will also control me. I dunno how... My wife very angry also as she start to control my wife behavior now. Anyone can provide some suggestion to solve this life long problem....

My fren changed car and cancelled his insurance with them. Faxed them cancellation letter, transfer invoice and send them policy contract, but up to them they still deducting the premium from his credit card, he called them last month and officer said they will look into it. This month still deduct, he sent them email to their customerservice department and no respond, what can my fren do?

Hi all, i have a headache on my car, hope to get some help or advise Brought this Lancer EX 1.5 car a while ago, drive around and feel have vibration (personally dont like vibrations) rating the vibration density as 35/100 so butt itchy go check my engine mount at a amk autopoint work shop then workshop claims that 3 mount is broken - 100k car 3 years old. Went JB Stockist they only have inspira 1.8L NON ORIGINAL engine mount so brought to try ~ 130sgd, went back to the autopoint workshop he installed then found that 3 matches but 1 dont so lan lan have to ask him to order that 1 piece which he claims to be original to fit in. At night collect car feel than vibration got worse density 90/100 paid $250 for the labour and 1 original mount (so now 3 inspira 1 original) Drive for a day really bei ta han, go back to him then he suggest non original mount have such problem so i said ok then change the other 3 mount to original also then, at night collect paid another $380 for the 3 original mounts and labour (all 4 original) Tested the car, vibration reduced drastically density 5/100, so drove off 1st day - perfect 5/100 2nd day - perfect 5/100 3rd day - vib starts to increase density 20/100 4th day - 40/100 5th day - 50/100 1 week later till now - 75/100 went back to autopoint he said all is original liao also cant figure out what is wrong, i asked him to check screw tightening, he refix 3 easier enigine mount vibration become slightly better 70/100 but still vibrating a lot, asked him why 1st 2 days ok then after that become worse and worse he say might be what sensor here and there but i dont make sense when it works perfect for 2 days and before i change mount the vibration also much lesser than now, change and become worse. then he say put car and wait which i didnt as i highly doubt his efficency Now after 1 more week vibration becomes 80/100 le, then in D density is 80/100, in R density is 90/100 in N density is around 70/100. Thinking of going to stockist personally to change the engine mount to all original again what do you think? Please help i already wasted $720 for this problem that usually people spend $600 on. and new original mount is gonna waste me $600 again

i bought my set about 14 month ago and today is suddenly gone crazy, the volumn will automatic turn to the highest 40, even if i press down the volumn, it will automatic turn up to the max again, this happen in all the mode CD / Radio or even SD card. Anyone face similar problem before? any advise?

I'm coming back to SG soon and during my vacation I bought loads of DVDs and BDs as their local HMV store having clearance. As I'm packing now, I realised I had over 14 DVD cases in my lugguage! Will I get into trouble in customs? I know if it's 3 ot 4 I'm safe as I've done it before but 14 boxes!!! Anyone done it before? Got problem? My DVDs and BDs are originals with the country's approved ratings (all non-R rated) crossing my fingers

Dear experts, I am a newbie in car servicing but mine is a 2nd hand 3 yo Honda Stream RSZ. My ride is usually bumpy and I can feel the noise within the car if going up to 80+ kph. Is it due to the suspension, vibration in the tyres (have changed since last servicing in July) or soundproofing problems? Please give me your comments. Thanks!

This 2 day my aircon not cold again.. only blow hot air :angry: even through i had change my air-con filter and top up gases 2 time within 6month. went to workshop was told that likely coolant coil leakage must change together with the valve original swift spart cost at least $478 (excluding labour) and for OEM at least $168 (excluding labour) is this the reasonable cost? anyone use OEM for swift before? any side effect? after driving 4 yrs for my car, now all the problem start coming out already spend more than $1.5 for past 6month for replacement.

Hi all, my ride has a problem.. couldn't start at all... Before it all happened, the central locking went hay wire, keep locking and unlocking by itself... after stopping the car at the carpark, the engine couldn't be switched on and the central locking still went on locking and unlocking... When it locks, the engine couldn't be started... only when it unlocks then it could be started... after that, the engine could not be started at all... the central locking just kept locking by itself... couldn't open the driver's door at all... and engine could not be started...towed the car to the workshop... Guy dealing in the alarm checked the alarm system and the central locking, there wasn't any problem... the central locking thing is now okay... no more locking and unlocking but the engine still couldn't start... there is the cranking sound but the engine refuses to start... Mechanic suspected a problem with the ECU... can't really be cos the car is less than 5 years old... it's a korean ride by the way, Kia Rio 1.3... Any input from bro's/ sis's? Mechanic can't really determine the cause... car has been stuck in the workshop for 2 days + now...
