HI, Anyone can help me with my problem regarding brake pad -
My 06 s60T5 makes a strange noise when i lock my steering to left or right for a turn...it sounds as if the tyres are rubbing against the body but my rims are only 225/50/17...shdnt be happening rite?

Hi all, During this few days, when i turn my car engine, immediately, my car engine shut down. Turbo timer did not kick in. Turbo timer still counting down, and my car dashboard almost all the icons is lighted up. 1. I suspect Turbo timer faulty liao, cannot hold the engine idling till count down ended. 2. I suspect battery going to flat liao, but i dont have problem starting my car, which i doubt so. Anyone encounter this before? Thanks for reading Rgds

Hi all, I currently using Goodyear LS2000. My tyre profile is 215 / 50/ 17 inch. I had been using this set of tyre for 1 year ++. Until recently i come back from cameron highland, my tyre like no grip. Especially i do a fast pickup, my tyre is spinning easily even on a dry road. I do a tyre thread check, no sign of uneven wear. The thread still have a lot. I even do a tyre rotation. There is one time i was at sengkang compass point shopping mall entrance. The entrance was a slant right side slope up. When i was travelling up the slope, my front tyre suddenly lose grip and it was keep spinning. My car was stuck on the slope. No matter, how hard i step on my pedal, the tyre keep spinning until a lot of smoke. Intially I thought normal, because that time is rainning and wet ground. Wah lau damn paiseh, behind of my car all siam me. Slowly, i reverse and go in a straight manner then was able to clear up the slope. Even the security guard come and see wht happen. Today also same thing happen at People park complex shopping mall. The entrance was smiliar to compass point slant right side slope up. My tyre also lose grip and spinning like no body business. Frankly speaking, normal driving or straight up slope totally no problem. Even i do a fast hard corner, i still feel the tyre grip. Now i totally have phobia of clearing up the slope especially shopping mall carpark. I really don't understand why my tyre is losing grip while the thread still have a lot. Anyone can advice me? or having the same situation as me? Should i change away all my tyre? Sorry for my long winded story.

Hi bros and sis I tried to install the original Apexi pen type auto timer on my Copen, but went to 5 WS all don't know how to fix, then say Apexi can't be used on Copen. but another friend of mine using replica one did and working fine on his copen so he say replica can fit and original one can't. What BS. Then went to buy HKS turbo timer also same problem. Engine will stall when turn off key. Have to rev til 2K RPM then can start countdown with engine running. A mech checked my friend set up and said his was installed with a diode and a relay near the timer console. Anyone know what is that diode and reply for coz mech himself also scratching head. Or anyone know of a place can intro me with pro who can really deal with wiring and install timer? Even went to audio WS also can't help. His was the 6th WS I visited and to no avail..

Power down and power up again would usually cause the system to boot normally. Sometimes, it doesn't. Once it boots up normally, any RESTART from WinXP would boot up fine. I recently upgraded my video card from a XFX 8600GTS 256mb to a Palit 9800GT 512mb Sonic. The new card requires a minimum of 450W and a rating of 24a. My old PSU was a Coolermaster Extreme Power 550W. 12v1 + 12v2 = 16a + 16a = 32a Distributor tech tested my card fine. Said it is PSU not supplying enough power. Went down to another shop and described the situation. Also said it's not enough power. But when I said it was running 550W, they were surprised that it could not run as they assemble theirs with 550w working as well. Itchy finger, bought a new PSU: Aerocool Modular 650w. 12v1 + 12v2 + 12v3 + 12v4 = 18a + 18a + 18a + 18a = 72a. Installed it. Still same problem. Checked RAM. All 4 gig is fine. Noticed something. Upon 1st time powering up, all drives NOT detected. System freeze after successful RAM check. Only 2nd time onwards power on, drives are detected and system boots normally. WinXP SP3 C: is a PATA to SATA 160g D: is PATA 40g Lycosa keyboard with MS Mouse Sound is onboard chip Seriously need help here.

I don't know how many over here has this problem with selespeed. My ride has been having this problem with jerking gerarbox when moving off from 1st gear since 3 months after I got my ride. Agent has changed Clutch Assembly and Trottle Body, thinking that could be due to these areas of problems. Spent $2500 already. But still jerking very badly. The car practically hops and n a bang sound is heard all throughout the day and night. No one in Agent side has so far been able to solve the problem. What shall I do? Frustrated that I spending alot of good money on bad stuff. Car practically un-drivable. Changing car is not realy a good option as I'm stuck with a top up. Get a full repalcement car?

I am experiencing this failure; whenever I am cold booting up my Window, it got hang up on POST. I got to switch off the power and switch it on. Then my Window is able to successfully launch. I had my mobo(MSI Neo 2 FR)checked and got a replacement and my whole set of 4Gb DRAMS changed too. The only thing have not is the PSU. I am , any .

I am wondering if anyone had this issue. Each time I am out of car, while trying to close the door, I will get the static from it. Earlier on when I open the door, attempt to let the door touch the other car's, I thought I will not get it. I tried to close the door using the top corner near the rubber side to push but I still got it. This does not happen on the right side of the door but on left as well. To think my wife also gotten it before. I didn't mod the car, everything suppose to be very smooth. It is only recently that I got the static. During that period of time, I didn't even do anything to the car. Car: 5yr old Nissan Lation (Sedan)

Posting on behalf of a friend. Got a new chery T11 1.6 and the problem is ..... this car cannot go up slope on Imm carpark in 2nd gear. when engage the RPM never go up. so hv to go up the cp all the way using 1st gear... not much ppl in the car only driver n 1 passanger. anyone knows why?? Chery mach say this car no power so hv to drag 1st gear to 4-5k RPM to be able to go up in 2nd gear why??? any long term damage other than petrol in long run?? Will ask friend to monitor this thread.. thanks alot!!!!

My tyres failed to grip well on the ground for me twice in a day time. 1st time is in a MSCP doing an acute 90 degree turn. Cement floor, some small puddle of water, and was turning only like 20kph yet still feel the car loss a bit of grip. 2nd time on a typical left turn slip road to expressway, totally loss grip for like 1-2 sec. Was relatively fast thou and road is slightly wet due to light drizzle. Is it the tyres doesn't have good wet grip? Or just the speed and wet ground? Or I turn too hard? Hi All, Just wondering if any guys out there is using the Lenovo LePhone and pairing up with a Starhub iPhone data sim card? Somehow, when i inserted in the starhub simcard, the phone is not able to access the internet...just able to make calls and sms. If anyone is able to make it work, please advise your settings. Thanks!

Wow this is the standard of service that they have dropped to. Interesting but not surprising after the kind of service and " professionalism" in my case. After less than positive experiences with Singtel I can fully empathise with this guy below The below was copied from STOMP. A STOMPer made a call to SingTel's customer service hotline to report a reception problem, but was apparently told off by one of the customer service officers. Said the STOMPer: "I was a customer with Starhub for 11 years and decided to port my number to SingTel in April 2010. "However, my decision proved to be so wrong! Singtel's reception was so bad that once I ported my number over, I began to experience poor reception. "I called them in May to try to rectify the problem. The first CSO was not able to resolve the issue, transferred the call to another CSO. "The transfers went on for an hour till I reached the 4th CSO. I related my problem the 4TH TIME and she told me: 'It's your damn problem!' "When I confronted and asked for her name, she got angry. "My Mio TV, Singnet and SingTel home line were not functioning properly as well. "When I called SingTel again and escalated the matter to the quality service manager, his promises of looking into the matter dragged on for 4 months! "Today, there isn't any solution to 'my problem' and he is pushing to close the case. "With reference to SingTel's core values (We listen to, and connect with, customers and treat them with dignity and respect. By understanding and anticipating their needs, we make it easy for our customers to do business with us), has SingTel done its part well?" Complain for a purpose pls don't bark like a crazy dog.!!! I don't wrk for singtel but I pity those CSO having to deal daily with u this type of unreasonable n stupid customer daily.

hi all I had a problem with my car steering. Went to change rims and tyre last week. Found out that when my steering position is in the straight position, my car veer to the left. A i hand to counter steer it to the right to make the car in a straight position. What must i do ?? Steering alignment ? can anyone give me a suggestion Thanks

The reception is about the same as 3GS which is bad but still wont cut off. Alot of people hear Iphone 4 immediately assume "Wah call got get cut off?" The truth is No such thing yet

mine got cranky yesterday. squirted a little bit of water and then stopped squirting completely. washer fluid reservoir is full, so i'm wondering if the pump motor is failing or whether the water is stuck somewhere. anyone encountered before?

Hi all, I have this Garmin GPS that comes original in-car mounting, the suction pad type. The suction works by a lever to enable the action. Couple of times, the whole thing dislodges itself, usually after a few days. I suspect it cud be due to the tint film, heat, or faulty pad. Anyone has the same experience as me? Any proposed solution to fix this?

I am facing some handling problem with my car. Its on a wet day. I was coming to this junction going a little faster than using cause the right turn arrow come one and there are no cars (don't want to miss it). As I slow down and turn, my car suddenly understeered. Can feel the front losing grip and car slide wide. This occurs when my food is on the brake (not hard braking). Let go brakes, its ok. Step on brakes again, slide again. I don't know if the wheels lockup thought I doubt so since I wasn't hard on brakes. Turning speed is not excessive, justs around 50-60KM/H Thus I am wondering if its because my front tyres are wearing out (threads still looks good) or suspension too hard (I did adjust the damper settings) or is it brake problem (My ABS up lorry already).

More cars (both b&b & exotic) are turbo charged, how good r they really r i did read somewhere... some CooperS reporting bearing/seal problems in less than 60Kkms... me thinks thas kinda low... or is that the norm knowledgeable inputs pse

Hi bros...hmm this morning duno what happened...after start engine and warm up till lights off, then proceed to on aircon, but then can smell some plasticy smell.. then wifey say how come got some smoke coming out from aircon vent...gan cheong then stop along the roadside to check (scared engine on fire) open bonnet but nothing leh.. thereafter dun dare to switch aircon back, but the smoke (not alot but can see feint smoke coming out of the vent). Was thinking of probably something in the aircon burnt? coz on sat noon time went over to JB, weather was hot so aircon was on 2nd mode for >1hr. Btw my radiator water was almost empty too..top up 2 bottles of water before it was full. Any bros here can help recommend a aircon mechanic to help check? budget and trustworthy wan can??

... it is not a problem at all. Agree? Sometimes we get ourselves stressed up over problems that are not problems at all. While things can be much better, they can also be much worse. Maybe you are stressed over work or school, but at least you are still physically fit enough to move about, and not wasting away with some terminal illness. Maybe you are having problems with your partner, kids or parents but these can still be resolved. There are old people in the last years of life living alone in squalor without any relatives. Maybe your HDB or car is not big enough but at least you still have housing and personal transport. If you work harder and save up, you can still upgrade in future. Because of all the self percieved problems, we live in the shadows with a dark cloud hanging over us, not realizing there are so many beautiful things and sunshine all around, just waiting for us to appreciate. This is my "Lite & EZ" contribution. Thank you.

Hi people, Can I check where should I go to fix my aircon switch problem. whenever I press the button to higher fan speed, it doesn't seem to respond. It only respond after pressing several times..prolly day in day out press untill the contact point for the switch also mati. HaiZ.
