Hi bros, need help on the above. The water heater plug in my home always have the problem of overheating till the point where it melts the plastic a little and worse case the plug melts and fuses it with the power point. But no short-circuit. Very scary. Have already changed several times for the plug, and also change the usual 13amp fuse to 15amp fuse. But again this morning it gives the same problem. It usually occurs when 2 person uses the shower continuously 1 after another. Sometimes my mom will unplug it and have to wait for 5-10mins to cool down first before the next person. But this morning was raining and everyone was running late so no time to do that and the inevitable occured. Btw the water heater is about 3yrs old only, those normal types with no water tank. Any remedies to rectify it? I was thinking of rerouteing the wiring to another power point where the pin-hole are those round types which I believe can take a bigger voltage surge?currently the power point being used by the convention oven. Possible to share the powerpoint or have another dedicated one??

my ride is a verna 1.6A. recently, when i was driving on the road, all of the sudden during driving at constant speed(usually at low speed), i feel that there a slight change of power to the car. and after that, whenever i stop at traffic light and wanted to move off, i need to accelerate abit more to make the car moves. when travel at constant speed of maybe 70km-80km, the rpm should be 2k rpm but it go up to 3k rpm. and during parking, i shift gears between R and D, everytime i shift to R or D, there is a slight vibration before the gear is engaged. but the engage of gears are very fast, not much delay. another strange thing is, if i turn off the engine and start the engine again. all the above signs are gone. there is no vibration when changing gears and the acceleration is back to normal. anyone encounter this? and i don't what happens because it don't happen always, on and off. maybe once a week or twice a week. i went to ComfortDelGro, they advice me to overhaul the transmission. and this morning, I just went back to Komoco. They can't find anything wrong but they mentioned tighten something related to the engine. But this evening, I encountered the signs again; 3k rpm at 80km instead of 2k rpm and also vibration when parking/shifting gears. now i don't know what to do

Hi guys, have anyone change their 2004 E200 compressor b4? Recently, went to a mechanic to check the lost of power and also sound coming from the engine, they mentioned need to change the compressor plus some ball bearings or something. Was quoted ard $3000 plus. Is it reasonable? Thanks in advance.

I've been with my Espec BBK for quite sometime and i notice after installed it, i find that my front wheel seems like more 'resistance'. when car in stationary, road slightly uneven condition, i can hear my front wheel got sound. seems like the brake pad in contact with my rotor. I drove my bro's civic (stock brake) and i can feels the wheel totally no 'resistance' at all. stationary (slight slope) can roll off freely faster. Question now is it normal for all after market BBK? or the installer never install properly? or they never do a good job bleedingthe brake fiuld and top up again? btw, im driving a swift..

1. cant they juz move their fingers a lil to signal? 2. cut chevron marking or double white line n act blur. 3. hoggers 4. especially those that wan to chiong out of filter or small road and then take their own sweet time to accelerate. anymore to add on?

I have a reverse sensor that will only have problem when the car is park under the hot sun for a period of time. At night, it working in good condition. When I reverse, it will have a continuous beep showing there is object behind. Anyone have encountered this before?

I just recieved my bill, nice new format and stuff. Easier to read, but found out that I was charged extra for data charges. I subscribe to BlackBerry unlimited plan and they charged me LOCAL data charges on top of subscription, had to call in to rectify the issue. Just to highlight to all about this and check your M9 bills properly, they say some technical error but cannot explain further. You guys have same problems?

I was having problem pairing up my new handphone with my old bluetooth headset. Before I hop off to buy a new one, just want to check, if a bluetooth headset was ever paired up with another phone before, can it ever be paired up with another phone? Or is it something wrong with my phone? Don't tell me bluetooth headsets must be "virgin" in order to pair up to a phone?

Hi, just check if anyone of u is having problem with hotmail? When u click on the new email, it appear below and not open a new page like b4. Is there something wrong? Also cant attach file when composing new email. Could it be the cable being damage by the typhoon?

Had to bring my ride to authorised workshop for an urgent repair. But here's the problem. My aircon was working fine BEFORE bringing it in. After the repair job was done, aircon no longer cold. Brought it in a second time to complain, but they insist that my compressor is leaking due to wear and tear. Quoted me a $xxxx price to get it replaced. My first impression is... the wear and tear may be true, but the fact that the aircon was working fine before they touch it. My blood is now boiling (literally, on a daily basis in this super hot weather). What you guys think? Another case of LL suck thumb? Even if I do it outside, it may still burn a hole in my pocket. Or is there something else I can do? Anyone can share? TIA.

Hi all, Anyone with GPS that guides you to a destination, but it is the back lane or some one-way dead-end near the destination? I have kena quite a few of such dead-ends with destinations that have small lanes near them. For example, Thomson Plaza - GPS guides me to the small lanes behind it, full of bungalows but no way to get thru to the Plaza. I'm using MapKing btw. Thanks in advance for sharing.

any Bros out there face the mentioned problem. The washer cant spray already. Wipers working. When depress the Washer can overhear the motor running sound so believe motor is working. When i pull out the cap. the water level gauge is broken which believe bits of plastic might cause the jam. Went to motorgarde quote me around 100+ to replace the motor. Is there a need? Otherwise by removing the bits of plastic would do the trick?

Hi guys, I turned the fan knob from 1 to 4 (low speed to high speed), but there seems to be only some weak air flow out from the vent. The noise of strong airflow can be heard, but doesn't seem to flow out of the vent holes. And yes, those vents were fully open. Car inside hot like hell. Aircon is on, but only very weak flow of air flowed out from the vents. Then when almost give up (and after like 30 minutes) , the flow of strong air started coming back. The flow of air from speed 1 to speed 4 seems to be normal again. What's the issue with this?

Just to share with you guys that whoever gotten the Western Digital Green 1TB of batch WD10EADS-00L5B1, pls do be careful as it will went blackout while doing transferring. I had this HDD manufactured on April, went black out twice while doing transferring of stuff on my Network Media Player. I went back to Achieva (WD distributor) to get it change with the same batch and manufacturing date, it still happen. This also happen to my pal as well. I went back to Achieva again ytd to get it change and gotten the same batch but different number. Stated WD10EADS-65L5B1. Does any one holding on to this batch of hdd manufactured on May. Sick n tired of traveling up to Macpherson over and over again.

hi bros, someone in the forum here says that the avante aircon not cold problem can be solved by DIY wrapping of one of the air con cable with a rubber insulator. does any bros here have a diagram of which cable i should wrap the rubber around with?
