  1. Hi, I would like to get fellow forumers' opinion on this. Recently, my petrol pump failed and after changout, I realized my petrol consumption has improved by 1 km/litre. Is this possible? Do I need to relibrate the fuel gauge after fuel pump replacement?
  2. Hi guys, Recently I change my tyres from 175/60R14 to 185/60R14. The tyres pressure show on the side of my car door and the car manual is 29psi which is for 175/60R14 tyres. And on the side wall of new 185/60R14 tyres showing the pressure of 36psi. 29psi to 36psi seem like quite a big different to me. So which tyres pressure should I follow? The 36psi state on the new tyre or the 29psi from the manual? Thank
  3. Wah Seh !! I am getting old oredi. Used to pump with the old tyre pump that has the needle, meter and a side-turn knob. Today , go into ESSO and see the new digital pump. Blur like Sotong. 4. Hi, How much is it to mod the car so that we can go to JB for pumping fuel without getting caught at the custom? What is the penalty for doing the illegal modification if get caught? How many cases were reported? Is the fuel in JB (ron 97) better or worse than ours? Thank you, Regards
  5. Just called up the mechanic at Auto Buddy who's repairing my Fabia now. He said the water pump is spoilt & needs to change the whole thing. But he said Singapore is out of water pump stock because the factory in Russia[shocked] can't keep up with the demand. Wah, that's bad. Anyone else got the same water pump problem with their Fabias? Hope not man. Dunno when the stock is going to come in.
  6. Hey guys. Is there such a product that we can buy off shelf ? My objective is get one and put it at home so I can clean my air-filter. Any idea where and how much it cost?
  7. I tried a digital pump at Mobil station near Kallang Way today and whao! The pump damn accurate! I double check with my StethoGauge pressure gauge and almost identical pressures indicated. StethoGuage is reviewed as one of the more accurate gauge on SportCompactCar Mag btw. Guys, time to start looking for all the digi pumps and leave the ole' fashioned ones behind!
