a few months ago, one of the aircon vents keep getting blocked, and the air that comes out of all vents is very dusty. after some time, the blockage went away, even though there's still alot of dust inside the system. it still occasionally gives out hot air, but the air is generally cooling enough. now, my old man's car aircon totally collapsed. All hot air and dust. And the aircon has developed a whirring sound since yesterday, which varies with engine speed but goes away with the A/C switched off. And recently when he wanted to take out the aircon filter to blow, he realised the filter is not inside since purchasing the 2nd hand car one yr ago. what have gone wrong? -
My wife has been pestering me to get a 7 seater since as long as I can remember... Especially now that I've got 3 kids (2 on booster seat, 1 in baby car seat). My Megean getting a little cramp when making regular trip to Msia. Since recently got some extra $$$, I take a look at sgcarmart and surprise to see Honda Odyssey for less than 50k. With COE expiring in 2015, depreciation will be less than 10k per year. Right? Today learnt something new. All along I only understand that when we sign the purchase form to get a new car, that price is locked. Car dealer can only ask customer to top-up when COE got too high, and it is before any subsequent bidding. But what Harvest Auto did for some of its customers really baffled me: Below taken from VSGSG forum under Skoda (http://www.vagsg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41917&page=13): VRS customers who secured at $108k were told to top up $10k, AFTER COE was secured. This is against normal practice, but as usual, T&Cs well covered. Choice was given to take back deposit and COE. I am sure it left a very bitter aftertaste on many of its customers. I will be very wary if I have to deal with them in future. What do you think? -

I installed Steam programme, but it started to update when i click on it to start the programme. The problem is, its stuck at 0% and after a while. Its mention Steam is Temporary unavailable. Did a google, i realise that its a major problem facing ppl who is using Vista and Windows 7. Anyone here know how to tackle this problem??

Was in Soeul recently for holiday and chanced upon a Rolex in the DFS and wanted very much to get it as the price is cheaper as compared to those sold in Singapore. Wifey said since I am going to Europe soon i,e, Frankfurt, Germany soon. It will be cheaper to get it over in Europe. So I go along with the argument but was told by my colleague that is not the case. Was wondering if anyone had purchased any watch in the DFS store in Frankfurt and indeed it id cheaper to get a Rolex there. Not too sure if I have missed the boat in Korea recently. Thanks

I was wondering among the Skoda owners here, would you honestly purchase another Skoda? For me I really like the Skoda ride, I guess for me getting a good deal of a car is more important than the badge and the local dealer. For me the value in price over part is the most important aspect for me. I am looking forward to the next Superb II, if they are correct with full specs at below 90k can be considered, my only quiz about their statement of a fully spec car is equivalanet to what? But I would like a 86-90K ranged value for money car. At this price, I can see the new Skoda Superb really punch through the Singapore market and by pass the likes of the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord.....Ford Mondeo range of cars. I think good price plus specs and proper branding will work well in our market. If you look at the brochure the full specs looks good, though. Would a current SPB/Octy upgrade?
