  1. Hello all, Czech Auto has maintained its pricing for all Skoda vehicles despite an increase of the COE premium in the COE bidding exercise conducted on 22/3/2006. Here is the current list price of all Skoda vehicles: http://www.sgcarmart.com/new_cars/pricelist.php?MAK=Skoda I will be initiating the next group purchase for all who are keen to get Skoda cars before the next COE bidding exercise on 5th April 2006. Through group purchases, prospective buyers can look forward to getting more value out of the purchase e.g. - Additional freebies - Cash discounts (dependent on the size of the group) - Subsidies in accessories The incentives for different batches of group buy may differ. To clear the air from the previous fiasco, there is no guaranteed upfront cash discount for group purchase participants (as mentioned by some guys previously). The availability and amount of the cash discount are subjected to the size of the group purchase. Please PM me to indicate your interest.
  2. Hello all, First of all, let us extend a warm welcome to Spindoctor29 who has successfully secured his COE yesterday. Another Superb will hit our roads soon. I will be initiating the next group purchase for all who are keen to get a Skoda before the next COE bidding exercise on 22th March 2006. Currently I have one prospective Skoda Octavia Tour buyer who has indicated his interest. Through group purchases, prospective buyers stand to gain better chances of getting more value out of the deal e.g. freebies, rebates. Please bear in mind that the incentives for different batches of group buy may differ, depending on the size of the group. Please PM me for more details.

His reason being if the wife happen to lost her job she dun have to worry abt servicing the loan plus the saving on the interest? He promise to get her the car once he got enough saving We are confused if he is right

Tai Huat Tyres and Batteries (Upp Thomson next to Post Office) Service - Friendly Product - Fondmetal Rims ($260) + Dunlop Direzza ($152 each) (Claims that AVA rims need to altered to fit the bolt size) Hurry Tyre & Battery (Next to Serene Centre) Service - Ok but not very forthcoming Product - Eta-beta Rims ($220), Fondmetal Rims - same as above($230), Yokohama ES100 - $150. Lee Beng Tyre and Battery (AMK Ind Park 2) Service - A bit Bo Chap Product - AVA Rims + Goodyear Tyres - $1070 (Claims that AVA rims need NOT be altered) I'll be scouting for somemore ... btw went to Stamford Tyres at Leng Kee ... quite put off by service staff so not mentioning it here ... I'll be posting this in the Tyres and Rims section too ...

  11. Hi people, This is what I got for my Lancer (basic model manual) purchase: Price = $61488 (incl. of $1.5k package w/o sports rims (less $500) Freebies = Spoiler + Fog Lights In-House + Insur rebate = $3k In your opinion, do you think I got a fair deal? Shld I fight for more freebies from the SE? I chose basic lancer over the sports version simply becos of price. I can use the 6k extra to mod the basic to better looks + power... also insurance is $500 cheaper per annum... Tell me what you guys think... Thanks, B
  12. i have been reading quite a fair bit on this site and never really been posting. I am seriously thinking of getting the Sunny EX Auto today or tomorrow. What freebies should I at least ask for huh If any brothers got any great SE to recommend, can always lemme know too...
  13. I have signed a contact with the car dealer to sell my car 2 days ago.... However I was not briefed of the terms and conditions of the contract before I signed on the dotted line. I now have second thoughts. Are there any means to void this contract on legal grounds? Please advise...Thanks.
  14. Hello people, anybody know where i able to purchase the battery head inorder for me to install additional HVS lug; grounding lug on to the battery head as the current stock is so short in which i'm unable to tighten them. or any better suggestions/advise. thank you
  15. Read in the other forum (Toyota sg forum) that a SE bought a scrap cert to discount/offset the purchase of a new car even though the guy is buying his first car, i.e., no old car for trade in. Is this a normal practice by SE's?
  16. Thinking of getting one of the above Is it true that for new cars... can only take loan for up to 70% of the selling price? Compulsory to pay immediate 30% downpayment? cannot take full loan for 10 years?
