Okay stupid question. Say for example Mothers Sealant, Cheapo Wax, Any Wash. In what order??? Sorry me completely stupid when it comes to this cos I only wax like once every solar eclipse. Okay I know wash first! Now wax then seal? or Seal then wax? Or Wash Seal wash wax? or must wash claybar wax seal? or is it seal wax? or is it wash claybar seal wash wax?

I am currently using 215/55/16 tyres. I was using a "tire size calculator" to compare different sizes in case tyres don't comes in the size I want. When I compare 215/55/16 with 225/55/16 ,the calculation shows that the diameter difference shows 1.68%. According to the calculator, it is safe to use the alternative size. In addition, the calculator also says as it is safe as logn as it stays within 3% of the original. Question is, is this true? If the 3% rule is true, I would be able to use 205/55/16, 205/60/16, 225/50/16 tyres. It opens up many possibilities. http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

Anyone have any good tips to drying your K&N ? I used to leave it for 2 days to totally dry ! But I know McWell can clean it in short period of time. I know we can't blow it with compress air/hot air .. so hair dryer is out of the questions .... HOW HOW HOW ?

Yo MCF bros.... noticed lately my car has been having a rather rough idle (more vibration especially when aircon is on). Any ideas why ? (Did a compare, Andrewkb mentioned his car doesn't idle as rough)

Hi... just wondering who amongst MCFers have Broquet Top Fueler (the one just after Boostmaster 40) installed and your experience with it such as - (1) is yours horizontally installed vs vertically set up (2) do you 'smell' petrol, even when visibly there is no leak and no petrol stains on the parking lot (3) did you encounter any problems - e.g. sluggishness, feeling of restricted fuel flow etc ?

I've heard people grounding the ECU ... is it advisable ? Does that means grounding the mounting screw on the ECU ? I intend to run a ground cable across the firewall and fix to the main grounding point for the interior (behind glove box). Advisable ?

hi! just back from JB.. wen ard to scout for some rims and tyres. seems the cheapest tyres are for 15" is sing$70. the tyres is either a make in malaysia SIMEX brand or a dunlop or eagle tyres from malaysia. wonder if ther s any feedback abt these tyres? hw are they compare to kumho? same? rims say like JRD range abt sing$425. for the 15" taiwaness rims pls cheapest tyres and minus off trade in cost abt sing$530. is it cheap? rims and tyres for 15". pls advise. real newbie here. kluv maurice

I've decided get a Pre-amp/Equaliser to add on to my car. I need it because I want to add an "aux-in" to play MP3s using an external MP3 player. (Seems like a good enough reason to get one ) Any recommendations on a brand/model that is not too expensive (read cheap) and has multiple functions... (sub control, gain, ...) And any place in particular where I can get this done... Thanks

My air con takes a little while to give out cold air, and I have to drive the car for some distance b4 it comes out.... but after that, even when stationary, its cool air. But this wasnt the case b4 I had the cooling coil changed. My air con will come out with hot air for about 5-10 seconds while the car was still stationary b4 giving out cool air. so guys...any ideas? its kinda like just now, I drove out from my car park (Holland V) to Tanglin Halt....then the cool air came out... and I was wondering before that if I ran out of gas ... Anything wrong???

Hi Guys.. After I have fixed my TRD Sportivo kit today, my mech told me to go to a tyre shop to do wheel alignment after 3 days on the road... did not really understand the logic, anyone can help Also.. what is a Oil Catch Can in the engine bay ? How it cools the oil ??
