Yo bros n sisters I need help - recently i just tried myself to change a faulty cabin light bulb and fuse blown cigar. After changing, my radio, clock, cabin and boot light dont work! Worse, auto door lock dont work when press brake pedal! Worse still, auto door lock using remote car key cause the system to reset the memory! Can tell me where did i go wrong? What should i do? Car can work per normal except those mentioned. But i dont like the feeling of unlocked car door will travelling ... tried to manual lock and cant work ... there's the rejection feeling every time depress the door lock manually when engine is running. I suspect one of the fuse is not working ... btw, my ride is a kia rio LS 1.4A made in year 2004. Thx alot! -
recently my 2din HU encountered problem listening to radio channel..the signal like distorted cant listen properly to the radio channels..Any 1 can gv mi any solution on it?is it the antenna which connect behind of the HU loosen?thx..

Is there any double din GPS with FM radio and CD player? Not required to play DVD, etc. A simple one will do. I did a search on the internet but are are only some china made ones. Appreciate if users could recommend some models or give me a link. Thk you.

When I say something you have to give an answer that is opposite to what I have said. For eg. when I say Sharp, you have to answer Blunt. OK? Contestant : OK. DJ : Sun Contestant : Moon. DJ : Black Contestant : White. DJ : Tall Contestant : Short. DJ : Man Contestant : Woman DJ : C0ck Contestant : CHIBAI RADIO SILENCE ! DJ : These things sometimes happen and we are on live. Hi guys, i have very obvious crackling sounds at higher frequencies with my pioneer HU after going active while listening to radio. Listening to CDs is great though. Are there anyways to reduce this high pitch crackling? Also, my speakers will sound whenever there is a incoming mobile signal eg. sms or call. is this due to poor installation or not avoidable? Thanks! -
kao, few days back, my Fiat Doblo radio reception damn telok... at first thought speaker kong, but test with CD, okay... so should be the antenna.... hopefully not the Head unit... .... any audio shop can solve or need to go back to agent???

hi..any one here has renewed road tax without renewing radio license... and wad if i did dat initially but later realised that me would be using the radio... can i still go ahead and renew the radio license?? anyone has any idea?

Today : 05/03/08 There is an announment over the radio (90.5) since this morning addressing members of public to take MRT as heavy jammed expected over Woodland Road. The reason : As there will be a heavy traffic jam along Woodland Road, members of public are adviced to take MRT to............... Singapore Race Course. Couldn't believe my ears when I heard it over the radio...... The riches club in SG but unable to come out $$$ as rewards to capture MSK......

Notice that my friend who bought from agent, his SE give him the road tax for 6 mths is without any radio license. Dos it means when he renew roadtax also can choose the one without license??? Any advice?

Hi Bros I would like to ask how many of you find the new Nissan Radio ad irritating? The ad with the chipmunks saying 2888 or soemthing like that ... it's funny and cute for the first few times but after a while it gets extremely irritating man. Any guys with the same thoughts as me?

Hi guys, I just collected my Swift today! It's very pretty and I love it. Only problem is... the radio frequency goes only from 76.1 to 89.9, which I assume is the Japanese range. What can I do about the frequency? Also, does anyone have an English copy of the manual?

The following ads are so irritating that i can't help to post it here so that anyone related to the marketing team of the company can wake up their idea who might still be thinking they have a very advertisment that attracting alot of customers. 1) Suzuki ads from Champion motor on Radio: This is the most stupid un-innovative advert i ever heard, it's got no relation to fortune teller! And the stupid fortune teller must be some chinese trying to potray how an indian speak, btw it's totally turn off! It's so irritating that everytime i hear the ads, i changed radio station or listen to CD, in the morning when my alarm sounds with class 95, if i hear this ad, i immediately wake up and off the radio! I am wondering which advertising company created this ads, must be some no brain company, and also to the marketing people who actually approve the ads. OMG! 2) Mocca ads on the TV with the stupid "Muscle" Man It's not a bad idea getting the idea thru, but it's a total turn off, everytime this ad is shown, any of my family members will switch channel. kind of disgusting and turn-off 3) Subaru Advert from MotorImage: This is getting more and more ridiculous, now got what construction workers. It was ok at first but after a while it became real bad. I don't understand the construction thingy, maybe there is some construction going on at LengKee and they are trying to warn people not to go to the construction site. Weirdo. Anyone else share the same sentiments? P.S. If you from any of the company above or the advertising company, please do some market research on whether your ads still appeals or turn off the public, dun waste your money on air-time where everyone just switch channels when your ads are Aired.

The laws are clear that on-air content cannot stray into sexual matters without defensible context and reasons. But with the proliferation of radio stations over the years, the competition to reach out to listeners is also severe. Which is why industry folks say DJs, in an effort to stand out among their peers, may take the chance to test the limits of taboo subjects like sex. The challenge for DJs really is to offer stuff and chatter that can be deemed acceptable to both older and young listeners.

I heard this 2 days ago. Glen and FD + one more lady DJ, they welcome callers to talk about xiaolongnu and how they find local guys. Man....at least 2 callers who worked in ktv or similar (i.e. they are xiaolongnu) said: "Singapore men very stupid, once you hook them, they give you anything, everything. You can borrow 20k without need to pay back and can get them to buy "bao bao" for you. 1 word, singapore men very stupid". Upon hearing that, the guy DJs keep protesting! hahaha! And the female DJ agrees.... What's your take on this??

Hi guys, I'm looking to install a long range dual-band radio transceiver set. Would you know where I can buy one? I heard it might be illegal in Singapore, as it's not approved by IDA. If so, then I will need to buy it from Malaysia. I'm using it for a long-distance overseas trip, will take it off when I'm driving in Singapore. Can I get any shops here to install it for me? It's the kind with a base unit, a hand set, and an external antenna. Please let me know if you can recommend an installer. Thanks very much in advance!

Hi all recently I realised that when I tuned to FM 933, the music output sometimes sounds like its on THS DTS surround effect and sometimes its like plain sound only. Its kind of irriating and it behaves like this when my car is moving only. Its not the switching from stereo to Mono reception, It is in stereo all the time but just that the surround effect on and off kinda of output is driving me crazy. My current set up is a Panasonic DF903 CD player and my radio antenna is roof mounted type. Have checked the Antenna connection behind the HU panel and it is tighly secured. No amps and all sound settings on HU is normal. I remember someone ever mentioned before that certain radio stations are broadcasting at a slightly different Bandwith (more like Digital Broadcast). So I was wondering if I am experiencing intermittened Bandwith switching (how should I call it) that resulted in this scenerio. When I tuned to FM883, the sound output is normal and flat (stereo of course) Perhaps can I buy any FM modulator to capture and stablise this Bandwidth signal such that I can enjoy FM 933 output close to that of a DAB? Advice needed.

Hi Anyone know how to set the radio stations for Pioneer DEH-6850?? I cannot get it and the always scanned and dun get to the stations I want. And also how to set the time for the HU? I just got this but dunno how to play with it as I dun have manual book. Thanks in advance. -
First, is there a CD-only head unit? Second, can I avoid paying the radio license with it? Yes, I'm a cheapo.

hi folks, my radio cannot receive any sound or noise after i have installed a amp. not even the sizzling noise when tuning for stations can be heard. tried to go back to the installer but he could not do anything. checked that the antenna wiring is connected behind the HU. will need to go back to the agent at jalan kilang barat. any bros/sis here can give me some suggestions to solve this before i go the agent ? btw, no problems on listening to CDs. only problem with the radio. thanks a million.
