I am driving a MPV and when doing parking at a dimly area, difficult to see the parking lot marking lines on both sides. The reverse lights are not bright enough for such purpose and only shine at the rear. I had seen MPV's installed with LED light at both sides of the rear wheels mudguard and when they engage reverse gear, both side lighted up and can see the side lines of a parking lot. Any brother here got any shop(s) lobang to recommend for installation of LED light on rear wheels mudguard. Thanks for sharing.

I dont see the dot during the day. Is this the cause of auto diming rear mirror. I was in the car park about 7pm, not very dark, no car behind, so no lights from the rear, why is there still a black dot. Is it normal. It does not bother me but just curious.

Hi, I was wondering what are the options available when I go install a headunit (Pioneer AVH-X5750BT) with only rear USB ports but the car doesn't have existing built in USB ports for the installer to connect it to? Do they simply leave an extension cable dangling somewhere or do they have a way to neatly install a port for me? What is the recommended method? Thanks!

Was previously advised by audio shops that it's better to just install component speakers at the front and the leave the rear ones stock, or change them to coaxials. Can anyone comment if this is better? Why not have front and rear component speakers?

Folks, Has anyone mounted a bike rack onto the hatchback that has a rear spoiler (no gap between)? Meaning that the bike rack basically ledges onto the rear trunk and the pivoting straps (of the rack) basically runs along the spoiler surface.. My wife is driving a latio sports hatch that comes with a rear spoiler. The spoiler does protrudes out a fair bit. We will like to mount our Saris bone bike rack onto the rear, but afraid that the spoiler can't take the weight of two bikes. The spoiler does not have a gaps between to allow the rack straps to follow the contours of the car rear. Thanks.

Just watched Fifth Gear's feature on 7 seater MPVs getting rear ended by a lorry going 40mph. http://fifthgear.five.tv/jsp/5gmain.jsp?mn...tion=Crash+Test The results are not pretty. Some people comment that if the headrests were up, it wouldn't be that bad, though. I would think that hatchbacks like Jazz, Swift, Yaris, Aveo, etc wouldn't fare much better.

Tried opening the rear driver side window and suddenly heard a loud CLARK as if something broke. Now the window kept 'sinking' down. SO how much to repair/replace this crappy power window?

My friends were in the car behind when the bus in front gave off a loud bang, don't know what caused it, luckily they were ok, but not sure about the bus passengers

Dear Gurus of Car Audio. I'm new to car audio as previously only using HU and direct to speakers. Recently changed car and got a 4-channel amp at the boot powering all front and rear speaker, total 4 speakers + 4 tweeters. The thing is, my rear main speakers are very bass heavy and didn't have enough mids and highs, while my front main speakers are much lesser in bass but focus on mids and highs. I took a long time to tune it properly, but if I tune to optimize for the driver, then my passenger at the rear seat will have very boomy sound. If I optimize for the back seat, then I will hear only mids and highs from my front speakers, and not much bass.. It's obvious because everyone is sitting in a different location. I tried to search around but didn't find a good way of tuning yet to balance out the frequencies, any ideas you can give? What is the common method used? Would like to hear your advice on this topic, thanks and appreciate it!

Just my luck to have gotten rear ended by a M'sian Car this afternoon. Damage was minor when i looked at it immediately after accident, abit of scuff/scratch marks only, thot to myself can polish out so shouldn't be a problem. The guy was apologetic and i thot to cut him some slack and didnt ask for any compensation. But now i'm regretting that decision, cause once i got to my destination, i realised my reverse sensors are not working properly, randomly beeps and not accurate. Upon closer inspection at the rear, realised got some very small dents too. Plus when i drive over a hump, the area ard my left rear wheel seems to have a tok tok sound, didnt have it before, not sure what is causing it now. So asking for advice, should i try to claim insurance against the M'sian Car? Or LLST and pay my own? I know it's highly unlikely to have a successful claim for a M'sian car. But even if i report to try and claim? Will it still affect my NCB and premium next year if eventually i decide not to claim against my own insurance? Rear ended @43sec

Hi guys, How do you change the rear view mirror (pre FL vios)? I bought this rear view mirror + camera... currently it works by piggy back on the existing rear view mirror (its also smaller and not as wide anyway)... but whenever its a hot day... the mirror will start to drop downwards due to the weight of this piggy backed rear view mirror + camera. So I thought of replacing the existing rear view mirror with this piggy back rear view mirror + camera... but problem is I cannot figure out how to replace... besides... there is no latch or anything behind this rear view mirror + camera to stick to the windscreen... any advise will be appreciated!

Hi guys, i drive a toyota wish 2008 model. Notice when i am driving, the rear wheel seems to create a helicopter (vom-vom-vom-vom...) sound even what i am driving straight. The sound gets louder as i increases my speed. I have check there's no foreign object on my tyres, the air pressure is right. Is it some sort of wear and tear thingy? Anybody encountered before and what has been quoted and replaced? It's not causing any hazard but i am just ignored by the vom-vom-vom sound. Hope its just a small fee to fix it. My wife mention she notice the sound after i replace my rim and tyres. Not sure if it's linked. Any help appreciated
