hi, i had a small knock to a taxi rear yesterday at CTE, the taxi did not stop to exchange particulars. after reaching home, i noticed only my number plate is slightly cracked. can i assume there isnt any significant damage to the taxi as well? will the taxi file claims against me? the taxi driver was fetching passengers at that time, n the driver was apparently asking the passenger to take photos. i donno how all these works... thanks for any help....

hi, my rear windscreen kena shattered.. sigh.. would like to know wat's the procedure and the damage? does the mech replace the windscreen alone or the whole rear backside? wat happened? i lent my car to my bro to use and he turned on the demiser on a rainy day and then it just went shattered and cha ta smell came.. guess too long never use the demiser already.. sigh..

A month ago, my 6 month old tyre got a punctured by a nail and I got it mended at the car workshop with a plug. Since then i have not experience any leakage of air in that tyre . So it seems the repair was done properly. I planned to drive up NSH to KL, so should i even change this tyre in preparation for this trip ? Will the plug dislodge it self when traveling at high speed (140 km/h ) over long distance (400 kms) ?

I believe when we do reversing, most/all cars have stock rear view/wing/doorside mirrors that do not allow us to watch where the rear wheels go. This may be an oversight by the manufacturers. Some overcome this with extra mirrors/camera. However, unless we already have a need to reverse park, drive-in parking is easier and save fuel. It seems most people prefer to do reverse parking. More fun?

hv noticed many motorists simply bo chup n cant be bothered 2 move their head n eyes, to check both mirrors wen driving, stay at lane 1 n cant b bothered tat they are slow n holding back others, cut into other lanes without checking blindspots, guess wif TP concentrating on speedsters, these bo chup drivers are causing more accidents than we know. especially tos tat keep stepping on brakes eventhou no car or bike infront of dem, mayb dey can see ghosts infront of dem hahahhaha how many bro n sis here wish ur car equipped like james bond's car n can fire a missile at tis bochup kuku drivers -

hihi, i experience that my rear windscreen, during the nite when i look thru from my rear mirror, i experienced blur vision especially on the headlights of other vehicles.. isit due to demister on, then spoilt the solar film ? -
Yesterday near Jurong Point I was navigating a turn when a taxi rear ended me. Not seriously and I cant see any dents but intermally if metal moved or crumpled etc I cant tell but nowadays a rear kiss cost 2-5k even if just a tiny bump? What are your experiences? Incidentally my colleague's BMW e90 rear ended cost 34k as the exhaust with cat converter had to be replaced at PM. Even if insurance pays, the insured will be super loaded in next renewed.

my poor car plate chui..... boot cant open... bumper slight cracked... question is, if i'm claiming against his insurance, can i send my car back to C&C for repair? my servicing is all done there... the taxi's insurance agent called me quoting could do servicing, give replacement car while my car is being service n do reporting for me (i'm reporting first thing tomorrow morning)

Today, taking my usual route on BKE (towards city) to work around 7.30am. saw a van being rear-ended by a car on lane 1 of the expressway. wonder will the van be able to claim full from the car? the issue is whether the car driver can defend himself or pass on some liabilities to the van since the van is technically not legal to be on lane 1? BKE in the morrning is such a hazardeous place. Trailers, malaysian buses, motorbikes zooming in and out of lanes. once the traffic builds up, all these trailers and buses, vans, lorries "automatically" move to the first lane and cause the traffic to worsen....

I am driving a saloon car and in June, i'll be expecting some guests whom I wld want to bring to Genting, problem is, there are 4 of them and with my wife at the front passenger seat, I have to place them at the rear. Anyone knows whats Malaysia's take on having 4 rear passenger on a saloon car?

Anyone used the rear view mirror that include the rear cam? Its the one where once you engage reverse, the view of the rear cam will be shown in the centre rear view mirror. I drive mpv so thought of installing this because my carpark has a 1m raised wall and no tire stopper. At night, its a bit hard to gauge. OC has kissed the wall when reversing before. I don't intend to put a touchscreen unit because i don't use it much and i find the light from the display irritating especially when driving on NSH at night.. Any bros have this? Any review?

Sian....car rear kanna banged by a van. his is only a small scratch on his no. plate but mine bumper and door incl. lamp damaged. Mine insurer is asiadirect and went down to ah lim motor to report. was ask if i want to repair at the ws but see they like so busy with so many accident cars. which ws can do claim if i dun go back ah lim workshop? since 3rd party cliam can go anywhere i like right?

Hi all, Last year 2 days before chinese new year, i was rear end by a fit/jazz. Damage was really bad and i, therefore decided to claim against the driver that rear end me. Today, i received a call that the other party insurance propose to pay only 90% of the damage and injury. I ask my lawyer and they advise me to accept the offer. if i decide not to take the offer, i will ask to go to trial and if my luck is not that good, the judge will reduce it to 80% or less. and if that happened. i will have to pay both parties legal fees. after hearing the fees amount, i told the lawyer that i accept it. Now, my question is, if the workshop have decided to accept the 90% damage, will he go after me for the 10%?

Was in my Father's car with Dad, Mum, Grandma and Grandpa, Baby sister and I. When encountered a hump, the car came down with a "BOM" sound, nothing much really, but somehow i feel my heart pain uh ... Is it the Rear suspension reaching its limit? The car is a Colt Plus, even with Dad, Mum, Sister, Baby sister(baby chair) and I, also encounter same problem.. Help me clarify any doubts! Thanks a million!
