Hi, Currently using an active sub (Pioneer TS-WX11A)and now considering a replacement. Need recommendations on a replacement and approx price. I'm an all rounder on music preference and I want a sub thats boomy but something thats gives a good SOLID punch. Advice appreciated. Cheers! Hi, looking to get a portable dvd player (good to have specs to include 8.5" screen, built-in tv tuner, seat mount bracket, swivel screen or tablet to save space, FM transmitter) for car use. Have been window shopping around and saw the NB brand at Autobacs that cost close to $800 with above specs. Worthwhile to get this or those more common brands which are also slightly cheaper retailing in electronic marts? Appreciate any kind feedback or recommendation from anyone here who has such a setup? Thanks.

Hi guys, I'm running out of restaurants to dine & impress chicks ; any good recommendations (preferably those that do not puncture the wallet substantially and in the eastern side of the island)? Hi anyone has any recommendations on bumper repair? i have knocked into the rear of another car and my front bumper is loose as it came out on the sides.. my number plate frame is broken and there is a dent behind the frame.. the front grille is also loose now..

my house tinted film is peeling. I need to replace it and looking for recommendations for a good one. My requirements:- 1) Tint can block out UVA/UVB as high as possible 2) Full-panel for hall 3) 3 half-panel for rooms Please advise the type of solar films, warranty, maintenance advice, costs involved and days needed because I am working on a tight dateline. After 2 years, my laptop battery is now at its half life. It now lasts 1and half hours instead of the 3 hours when i first bought the laptop. Contacted the service center and found out that a replacement battery costs 190 dollars Wanted to ask if there is any cheaper alternatives out there like third party batteries. Heard that there is some kind of battery cells renewal or something like that?

OK CNY is coming. Thinking of retiring my steam boat cooker. Its so slow and once new soup/stock is poured into it, takes a really long time to boil. Lots of Tabletop induction hobs have been advertized. Most now come with the hot pot for CNY steam boat. Cheapest I found is Morries at 69.90 at Courts. Does not have hot pot funtion. Of course have temperature control. Second is the Sona at 79 also found in Courts. Has Hot pot function. More recommendations?

Thought of bringing my family on an outing to Genting highlands, any recommendations? Heard that going up it is pretty steep, besides that any recommendations on driving and hotels to stay plus the places to go? Going up with 3 adults and 2 kids.

Did a search but can't get much info. 1) Need to buy engine oil. hopefully Chemlube, Amsoil or Motul 300v Hope to go places to buy with ready stock, would prefer to do servicing tomorrow or Friday. Will need the oil only. PS: for those recommend Trex, i am unable to get him so i give up. Other alternatives pls 2) Tyres botak liao. Intending to change front 2 tyres to Advan AD07. Recommend tyre shops pls with ready stock. so i can do together with servicing. No P*h He*g. Thanks.

This is usually women territory but somehow it became my responsibility (due to the bulky nature, I guess). Any kind soul helping out with the housework (ie:ironing in this case) at home...and familiar with ironing boards, pls recommend a place to buy a decent ironing board (let me know the aga aga price, I need to seek approval from finance). I am getting one for my granny as hers is quite rusted. Weight is not an issue as it will be permanently deployed. Cheers and have a great new year!

Looking around for 3 room condo/e-condo below 480k.. preferably in the east. Some which i know are Simei Green, Pinevale, Eastpoint Green, Aquarius by the Park.. i'm going to a very scenic place and realize my P&S digicam just won't cut it... since i don't intend to go the whole DSLR route, i'm more inclined to get a prosumer digicam, something that will take better pictures, wide-angle shots, but does not require you to make manual adjustments, ok a few adjustments maybe... any recommendations, anyone?
