  3. hi guys! I'm new here, i just checked around for blaupunkt dealers and the last time there was some talk about this was 2002 or something...so i thought i would ask u guys here for advise... i am gonna be getting an alfa 147 and would wanna get the IPOD interface for my blaupunkt, according to one of the dealers, my stock blaupunkt can't be used, and i gotta get other sets...however after an over quote of 300 bucks above the original price of the LA(blaupunkt) i a bit scared of him already...so just wanna find out the real deal from the more experienced guys here... where would u guys do up your blaupunkt? with the ipod interface? and maybe some suggestions on what else would u guys add? errr...maybe with a budget of 1500-2000? including the head unit and IPOD interface... thanks!

  5. Fed up with those stick-on door guards that get lost on the road after rain, shine and wash? I searched and found a pair of these rubber door guards in Msia for RM10 a pair...works like a charm, grips like a leech YET easy to remove without scratching, when washing the car These may look "obiang" at first, but u will get used to it. I swore off those stick-on types, unless u supplement those with 3M double-sided tapes from Autobacs. Cheap and reliable, if u don't mind the looks. Feel the bite...Grrrr.
  6. Hv just cleaned my K&N filter last week. Before I clean it, noticed the oil has already dried out and can see tiny holes of light passing through the mesh. Wonder if I've left it in there for too long *gulp*. Almost 2 years and 25,000km then I clean! *die* One question came to my mind. Is it safe to use K&N for long term? Have anyone here been using K&N for their rides for more than 8 years care to share if there's any problems? Now I scared that my engine will spoil if use K&N for too long.

  10. After years of driving, I have found that the most UNRELIABLE part of the car seems to be the power windows. 13. Dear bro and sis, Just wondering whether any information regarding realiable and cheaper car painter workshop. Actually, I wish to remove my rear spoiler and I believe it will leave me with the existing holes from the spoiler. Therefore, I intended to close the holes and do a touch up / repaint for my booth. Suggestion and comments are highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  14. Brudders, My current ride is a 2001 G9. My odometer is close to 70K and the last time I went BM was about a year ago. In between, I have been doing only normal servicing (Spark plugs, Oil filter, Engine Oil change & Air filter) and car is in pretty good shape. I was thinking of going to BM for them to do a thorough check (fanbelts, coolant, brakes, transmission oil, fuel filter, timing chain etc) to ensure everything is OK and also fix my creaking driver seat and vibrating the HU. But I heard it will cost a bomb and also BM service level has gone down. So my question is.... Are there any good reliable workshop that can do the same thing without waiting the whole day, don't con and is reasonably priced? TIA
