Hi All, Does a weak radiator fan/ motor cause the car to overheat? My car radiator fan is running, however after about 30mins of driding the temp will go up more than half gradually. And when moving, it will sometimes come down depends. Usually stop sometimes the temp willdo down. Is it radiator "choke"? or water pump faulty or thermostat? Any bros can advise or have similar experience before.

Just went to Tan Chong servicing..car left with 2 years to scrapping. Was notified of these issues and costs to replace: Brake Related: Front calliper overhaul $157 Rear cylinder pump $230 Front rotor disc $457 Rear brake drum $457 Others: water pump - minor seepage of coolant $290 Lower arm connected to cross member $562 Based on your opinion, should I fix all the above issues? if yes, shd it be with Tan Chong, or any good recommended workshops for me? TIA

Just throwing this out here is case anyone might have a recommendation. I'm looking for someone that is willing to have a go at troubleshooting and repairing a motorcycle dashboard (lcd panel type). Suspected problem is a joint or solder crack due to vibration over time as the problem was first intermittent at higher vibration levels and then degraded. I have been told that the lcd panel is now totally blank (backlight is fine, warning lights are fine, just the lcd display kaput). So no harm letting someone have a go at it and see if anything can be done, i have already sourced a replacement from Italy but thought maybe i'd give this idea a shot. The unit is small (approx. 20cm x 12cm) and a self contained unit, only one CANBUS input in from the ECU if i'm not wrong. Can be easily removed and transported. From my understanding it is purely a display unit and does not contain any immobilizer. If anyone has suggestions for a shop or even an electronics hobbyist please let me know.

Just had a small puncture, must be a small hole somewhere in rear tyre but as night is falling, cant see the actual damage but should be due to some nail. Need to crawl to nearest shop for repair first thing tomorrow. Instead of the sometimes unreliable "insert a plug" type of repair at most petrol kiosk, can anyone recommend any tyre shop in Ang Mo Kio vicinity that can remove the tyre and patch up the hole from inside? Presumably I can find one around Sin Ming area. Many many thx in advance. -

My car aircon suddenly starts blowing warm air while i was driving normally around Singapore. Is there any suggestions from forumers here on how to troubleshoot aircon problems and what is the likely cause for this issue? My baby toy spoilt after he play. I suspect he threw it ard. is a toy dog, can pull along with music. Leapfrog. I open up half to check any loose wire or crack circuit. Everything look ok to me, but I'm no expert in this anyone can recommend a place for repair? I just need someone to check it and repair, if possible

Any idea anywhere does repair of remote controls ? Mine the battery sort of corroded inside and now can't work. would be great if can get someone to fix it up. Have seen some universal controllers, bought 1 and try, but apparently it doesn;t work.. any one has encountered ?

Hi, My ride is Hyundai i30CW and the water pipe below the windscreen reservoir burst after an accident, only the back windscreen is affected, front is ok. Need to replace it. Any good workshop in Tampines to recommend? Anyone know if the pipe comes in whole piece or in section?

HI I am driving my new car for 5 years and the tyre since day 1 have not change yet. Since my car is an OPC and mileage is only 38K till now. The tyre trend is still going at 80% new. IS there any danger if I carry on using the present tyre for the next following years? Do I need to change all 4 piece? Will the tyre rubber get harden? Will it affect my braking distance? Please advise...

Does anyone know of any place that can repair the dish on those deep dish rims, where the rim is finished in chrome. I repeat, in chrome. I know people send their kerbed dish rims to shops and grind away the edges. But I believe this cannot be done if the dish(or lip) is chromed or painted right?
