I want to close my posb and change bank. Today my posb atm card became invalid after 3 tries. Bank said the machine will invalid that card after 2 tries and card MUST be replaced as it cannot be used anymore. Replacement cost $5. So every time you key in the wrong pin # more than 2 x, you need to replace your card and pay $5. The counter staff added that those who cards are chipped or lost and need to replace will have to pay $5.

My front car number plate broke off for some strange reason, didn't get into any accident so not sure how that came about. It's quite drastic, the last 2 numbers cannot see clearly already. Anyone knows a place that can replace this at a good price and fast? Preferably in Central area if possible. If they can take phone orders so I just need to go down and install, better still (but I doubt there are shops willing to do that). How much would a replacement cost? Looking to get one that does not have pop-up numberings.

Hi, do you think suspension replacement is possible at CA? Seems like mine is really boat riding like crazy. Even at 30-50km/h if it was at 110km/h I would say it is my fault, but this is something wrong with the suspensions that is causing this? Can CA treat it as a wear and tear? Or do I need to apply my own 3rd party solutions? If I need to pay for a stock suspension or get a 3rd party, which is cheaper? TIA for the advise.

http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/sin.../336758/1/.html Another JI member detained under ISA By Dominique Loh, Channel NewsAsia | Posted: 23 March 2008 1847 hrs Photos 1 of 1 SINGAPORE: Another Jemaah Islamiyah member has been detained under Singapore's Internal Security Act. Rijal Yadri Jumari, 27, was arrested in February for his involvement in the terrorist group, the Home Affairs Ministry said on Sunday. The ISA order against Rijal was issued three days ago. The Ministry said Rijal is known to have been working with foreign JI elements. It's believed they were in discussion to regroup and revive the Ji's clandestine network. Rijal is a member of JI's "Al-Ghuraba" cell which aims to develop young members to become trained operatives and future leaders. Rijal himself was talent-spotted by the JI to become a future leader in the organisation. He was also schooled at JI's overseas madrasahs. In 2000, Rijal went to Afghanistan where he trained at Al-Qaeda's Camp Farouq in Kandahar. He learnt how to handle weapons, explosives, surveillance and guerrilla warfare. While in Kandahar, Rijal even met Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden on several occasions. After returning to this region, Rijal was on the run when security action against the JI was stepped up. Rijal was arrested with the cooperation of regional authorities. Also on Sunday, the Home Affairs Ministry said another ISA detainee, Anis Mohamad Mansor, was released on 10 February when his Order of Detention expired. It said Anis, who has been detained since February 2004, had cooperated with investigations and responded well to rehabilitation, which included religious counselling. - CNA/ir

If given that Car A is 2.4L with 150bhp and a Car B is 2L with 150bhp, power to weight ratio are ahout the same, same torque and both are NA sedan. In this case, does a 2.4L has clear advantage over 2.L car at high speed (>180Km/h) and over long distance running? Thank you. Regards,

Hi, Last evening was unlucky, My wife and I drove to IKEA tampines when i heard a sharp 'bang' and later discovered one tyre deflated when came back to the carpark. Look like due to crack in tyre thread. Our car is Rio' 06 with stock rims and tyres since Feb' 06. Now need to get a new tyre/set of tyres. Any recommendations for better tyres? Should I change one tyre only or the whole set? How much does it cost? Where is a good place to buy tyres? I stay in Tampines. Thanks :)

Like to seek advice on whether to get the one ins c/o that provide loss of use replacement car upto 15 days and the other ins c/o that do not provide this benefit but is around $250 cheaper. The one that provide courtesy car I think don't care whether I am at fault or not still ok to get the courtesy car as long my car in workshop repair. However I know of for ins c/o that do not provide courtesy car and still can get the workshop that you send in, to arrange for loss of use replacement car - correct me if I am wrong.
