my fren car was send for a overhaul servicing tat wil take few days. He was given a replacement car to use. For hdb parking at his blk of tis replacement car, can he use his season parking decal frm his own car on tis replacement car & leave a note on windscreeen to inform attendant? Like tat wil kena summon? As hdb branch office close on sat, cnt call them to check hence seek advise frm forumer here. thks.

It's confirmed that Proton had already start the bits and parts for the new models.Waja is simply rebagde from Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0GT(Not EVO X turbo) but using Proton own Campro 2.0 soft turbo version engine.Changes like grille,Steering,Audio,Rims and rear lights are done by Proton.For Perdana its Proton develop a new 2.3 Campro engine.Price for the Waja is expected to be around RM80,000-90,000 depending on the specs.For Perdana its RM93,000-103,000. My ride was quite badly scratched on the door guard and handle on one side. Should i get them resprayed? Or should i replace them? My door guard now even slightly dented. Any workshop to recommend for either options?

According to Autocar, Lamborghini chief Stephan Winkelmann has embarked on a world tour to showcase the Murcielago-replacement to selected clients - a model Lamborghini has still not yet officially named. "We've allowed the dealers to select which customers are invited instead of getting involved directly. They know who they need to invite because, in some cases, these are people they have been dealing with for many years," Winkelmann told Autocar. The next flagship Lamborghini model, possibly to be called the Aventador, will be lightweight in construction, featuring a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis. It will come with a new 6.5 liter V12 producing 515 kW (700 PS) and 690 Nm of torque. Lamborghini also has a new gearbox for this lineup-topping model. A 7-speed single clutch gearbox called the ISR (Independent Shifting Rods) transmission. The new gearbox features exceptionally quick shift times (50 percent quicker than a double-clutch gearbox) by means of the independent shifting rods. 0 to 100 km/h on the model will be 2.9 seconds and top speed should be around 350 km/h (217 mph). The Murcielago-replacing Lamborghini is expected to debut at the Geneva auto show next March. Source: Autocar -
I had just transferred my audio system from a previous ride to my current ride. during the installation of the speakers on my current ride, the workshop had informed me that one of the tweeters for the component speakers at the rear is not working anymore, so i had asked them not to install the tweeters. The midrange and crossovers for the rear doors were installed, but without the tweeters, the rear passengers can only hear muffled vocals and music. as an novice audio fella, i ask these questions... 1. can i buy these tweeters and install them in place of my faulty tweeter? Amazon tweeter 2. will the crossovers for the existing speakers be able to link up with these replacement tweeters? 3. should i buy a new set of component speakers instead of just these tweeters?

Hi bros, Yesterday my ride's engine died repeatedly when it was idling. After re-crank also died. The idling speed keep dropping unless I stepped on the accelerator. Sent my car to workshop and they called me telling me the throttle valve needs replacement and will cost $600. Told me if replace throttle body will be $1200 (which is not needed). Just want to know from the experts if $600 is too ex to replace the throttle valve? Got carrot? Appreciate your response :)

My mit grandis hit 100k. call c&c was quoted $1300(after 25% discount ) for timing belt, water pump, seals, etc. Im going to buy parts from stockists and head to JB w/s. Anyone suggest a gd w/s in JB? tks. -
Should be another V12 (maybe the last given the Emissions requirements in Europe)...to be release at Paris I think... any bets on the name? JOTA has been tossed out there, but I don't think so... 1. The Jota was actually the "race" version of the Miura, so is kind-of like a Superleggera or a Super Veloce, don't think a new model would be given this name 2. I don't believe Lamborghini will revive a name from the past - I think they will be forward looking Any bets?

Hi guys, Hit a sharp end of concrete on the left side of the front spoiler and needs a replacement. The side of the bumper also a bit warped due to the force of the bump. Went for servicing this morning and they said the bumper can still be salvaged but the spoiler needs to be changed. Plus LTA car number plate replacement since my car is an OPC, total is SGD 770. . Also, I will need to wait for 4 to 8 weeks for the parts to arrive as they don't have Amethyst Grey. I wonder if it's worthwhile going to Msia to do it. I called the branch at Plentong JB and they quoted me 600 ~ 700 RM excluding 50 ~ 60 RM on labour charge. So far I checked, there's no Amethyst Gray for Malaysia model.... Anyone any better idea? Thanks...

Hi, Planning to change my tyre soon, currently on GR80. So far been happy with it but unfortunately no more in production. Any recommendation for an equal performance tyre or slightly better (Grip wise and noise is a concern). Also do include the price, I'm using a 15" rims. Thank you.

Got a 2nd hand Sonata NF recently. Noticed that the aircon didn't blow cold air yesterady. I am wondering if it is covered by warranty. I mean if Komoco will fix the aircon charge for me? But the other issue is that the ex-owner had not sent the car to KMC for service for last 20KM servicing. Called KMC service centre today and they told me that I "can" go to their service & they will check the aircon 1st and "may" repair the aircon under warranty. They "May" claim for me! what does that mean? If at the end of day they say cannot claim warranty and charging me for the service, then I would not want them to fix it because there're many shops can do it at a cheaper rate! Any bro have such experience before? Today the car give me another issue - the battery died on me just now! Not sure if KMC will replace it free as well if my car is under warrantly. Oh forgot to mention that the Sonata is 2 years old. Even if they do, I have to find someone to help me jump start the car 1st. Heard that some shop have service van which to the job but they charge over 50 for 1 trip. Think that's too expensive! Any lobang? Many thanks.
