  1. A 2 litre sedan with sticker price of S$257,800. Looks like a gem although many will say it is not an inline 6. Fast enough for me plus lower rd tax than the 535i that PML is selling at above S$360,000 for the M-sport trim. Thatz like a 100 grand difference. I do see PI selling 535i for S$267,000 but I dun think I will take that route. Any bros willing to share their take on tis car? My ride left a few months. Seems buying new car must have an old car to trade in for best value. Hope PML offers good over trade and if you know of any good PML SE that can offer a great package, pls PM me. Cheers.
  2. Hi guys, anybody is driving audi a4 B8? What is the review so far and how has the car been like? Is the car reliable? Any issues with the Multitronic gearbox? Or any mechanical or electronic failures? So far i been driving Mitsubishi Lancer GLX CS3, a 2006 model i bought as a 3yr old second hand in 2009. Driving for 5 years+. Zero problem. Not sure if Audi will be able to give such a problem free experience too?? comments and review appreciated! Cheers everybody!
  3. Only had for little over 2 months and my car was totalled from behind. Video from my DVR helped show that I had very good distance to the car in front of me, but I hit it due to the impact from being hit from behind. Cops were trying to say i was following to close... nobody was the guy behind didn't pay attention wehen traffic suddenly stopped. Video was helpful for insurances and even my chiropractor. Simultainious video plays big role for seeing what happened, instead of just the front camera or separate 2 cameras. With this unit you choose to show (copy to computer) 1 camera or both camera videos after it is already recorded! You are in control!
  4. Hi guys, Just bought a pair of H7 Osram Nightbreakers, debutted just october this year. It claims 90% more light, 10% more white. It comes with 2 blue bands around the bulb, and a grey tip Tried out for the night, It is indeed visibly whiter than the stock phillips bulb, but is still yellow without comparison. The light output is nothing fantastic, looks just like a new pair of bulbs, akin to another pair I've tried, the phillips vision plus. On the whole, a pair of vision plus bulbs would do the same trick imo, but i'm not a bulb man, so my judgement may not be entirely correct.
  5. Hello Folks, IMO, Euro or America car review programs normally reciting spec/feature mechanically in a sort of chant, boring and feel drowsy, ‎In contrast, Malaysia this 3 guys did the same thing, their acting skill and conversation is Hilarious and humorous Is there any Car review Vedio from Singapore? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVWsuWfTK3o&list=PL2i6uLFviRehDR0vERBgEI-7qQaWFsPjX&index=5
  6. Had a go at the cold crab a few days ago. The last visit was a couple of years back. I honestly couldn't remember the price and did not bother to check on the Internet hence I was very surprised when I was charged $80 for 2 cold crabs! It is pretty good (with the chilli) if you disregard price but I definitely will not visit again.
  7. Any feedback or review?

  10. yahoo report : Malaysia has lost right to review water price, says Singapore Minister – Bernama When Malaysia decided not to review the water price under the Water Agreement in 1987, it lost its right to review the price, says Singapore Minister for Foreign Affairs K. Shanmugam. "Singapore’s position is that Malaysia has lost its right to review the water price. The Water Agreement provided for the review after 25 years. Specifically, there was a right to review the price of water jointly in 1987. "However, Malaysia consciously chose not to review the price. It had good reasons for this," he said this in reply to a Parliamentary question today. Ellen Lee of Sembawang GRC, had asked the minister whether Malaysia had the right to review the price of raw water sold to Singapore under the bilateral water agreement at any time before its expiry in 2061. Shanmugam said Singapore had stated its position on the issue and also conveyed it officially to the Malaysian Government on several occasions. "Our position on this issue is well-known to Malaysia. We have stated this publicly, and also conveyed it to the Malaysian Government, including at the highest levels. The Malaysian Government understands the position," he said. He quoted Malaysia's Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman as saying on February 17, this year: “An agreement is an agreement. When there is an agreement, we will honour the agreement. "If there is any need for review, we will forward it and if their response is positive, we will start talking." Shanmugam said that had Malaysia exercised the right to review the water price in 1987, Singapore might then have made different investment decisions to develop the Johor River, for instance the Linggiu Dam project of 1990. In the event, he said Malaysia chose not to review the water price in 1987, and on that basis, Singapore then took several actions, which also benefitted Malaysia. He said this included building the Linggiu Dam at a cost of over S$300 million (RM773 million), which increased the yield of the Johor River and enabled both Johor and Singapore to draw water from it during the dry season. Indeed, neither party can unilaterally change any of the terms of the 1962 Water Agreement. Shanmugam said Malaysia benefitted greatly from the current pricing arrangement. "We enjoy good relations with Malaysia at all levels. We will continue to work to enhance our cooperation and friendship with Malaysia, in order to benefit both our peoples," he added. – Bernama, March 6, 2014. link: http://sg.news.yahoo.com/malaysia-lost-review-water-price-says-singapore-minister-161152546.html We build a S$300 million dam for MY ... I didn't know that.

  12. Four The Win The 4 Series promises all the traditional traits of the 3 Series with an added dollop of strength and style. How much of a difference does a name or number make? BMW has recently decided that all its sporty models should have an even number in their title, just like the 6 Series and the upcoming 2 Series, hence the arrival of the new 4. So two-door BMW cars - both coupes and convertibles - begin with even numbers, while odd numbers are reserved for more family-friendly sedans and wagons. The 4 Series is effectively the next generation of the 3 Series Coupe but BMW wants it to be a standalone model The car you see here is the new BMW 4 Series, a brand new model number in the BMW range that waves goodbye to the outgoing 3 Series Coupe - in a similar way to Audi with the A5 range, which changed the game in this segment and proved to be a smash hit. Exterior Compare the exterior looks of the 4 Series to the last iteration of the 3 Series coupe and the newcomer is indeed a sexy evolution in two-door design, paying respects to past generations while flirting with some details from the bigger 6 Series. In fact, the 4 Series is a bit wider and longer than the 3 Series Coupe, giving it a more hunkered down look that will catch the attention of onlookers. Besides that, there are two new vertical airflow zones on the sides of the apron (called Air Curtains) that improve airflow around the front wheels. And together with new vents in the front wings (called Air Breathers), which reduce drag around the front wheels, they help to boost fuel efficiency. Hofmeister kink on the F32 4 Series - a standard BMW design feature, which consists of a low forward bend at the C or D-pillar Still it's no surprise to see plenty of styling similarities between the 4 Series and the 3 Series. The 4er has the same aggressive front end and angular Xenon headlights, while the trademark BMW twin rings look menacing, especially in the rear view mirror of the car in front. At the rear, the 4 Series sports beefy haunches and a rump that looks like its keeping those rear-drive tyres pinned to the asphalt. L-shaped tail lights act as a seamless continuation of the swage line along the side of the car, complemented by twin exhaust pipes that round up the whole sporty look. Page 1 2 3 »
  13. Hi guys, Has anyone of you tried the brake services of C's performance? I could not find much testimonial about them on the net, so if you have any experiences with them, please share. Brakes is a safety item, so I hope to check more first to ensure that their services are top notch. Thanks!
  14. http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/autogeek_1939_31371247 After purchasing the Duragloss 921 from maddriver at the last MDDS, I drove home where after inspecting my car, I noticed the car had birdshit & treewax here and there. [ol][*]Sprayed some duragloss on the birdshit and treewax[*]Waited 3 mins[*]Wiped off offending crap with a tissue paper with ease. After that, inspected my sealant - it's still smooth and definitely not affected by the 921.[*]Also noticed that the areas covered by the 921 are abit glossier - the 921 bonds and enhances my sealant's shine! [/ol]This is some good shite. Thumbs up!
  15. Hi all gurus, Does anyone out there own or hands-on extensively with the above mentioned Sony ICE? Please advise. Thank you.
  16. The Singapore Vehicle Traders Association on Tuesday met the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), calling for a review on loan curbs for used cars. The association represents more than 400 used-car dealers in Singapore. It is proposing that used-car buyers be allowed to borrow up to 80 per cent of the purchase price and for the loan to be serviced over eight years, instead of 60 per cent and five years under current rules that took effect late February. The rules were lifted temporary for a 60-day reprieve period from 6 April to 4 June. The association, which has been monitoring feedback from its members, said many dealers are suffering, with business dropping by at least 50 per cent since the reprieve period ended. Raymond Tang, honorary secretary of the Singapore Vehicle Traders Association, said: "New cars and used cars having the same type of loan curbs will (result in the) majority of consumers buying new ones. This adds more pressure on new cars, especially now when the COE supply is not enough. After the 60-day concession period... we can see COE prices rising tremendously, going as high as S$81,000. "So we urge MAS to consider making the loan curb different for the used and the new cars... (to) ease pressure on new cars and cool COE prices." 18. Hello All, I'm currently considering getting the above mentioned DVR. I did some check on it online and get to know its features better. I know the con on this DVR is it uses micro SD and the internal camera quality is lousy. However, all the reviews I came across were from other countries, so I would like to hear from our fellow forum members if any have experience with this DVR. Your contribution is greatly appreciated. Also, I do not wish to run the charging cable in my car, so I will be bringing home to charge daily, so I'm very concern with the operating duration for one full charge. Lastly, I would like to point out that I did put effort to search the forum with x3000 and r300 in different forms but could not get any return threads. Therefore, if there is a similar thread, apologies for that. Thank you everyone! And have a nice day Orto

  24. There is a new automotive video blog production of sorts called The BHP Project and they have kicked off with a really good video but an astonishing car, one of the rarest in the world. The Lamborghini Reventon Roadster. Yes not the ordinary Reventon but the ultra-rare Roadster variant. For a new start up it is impressive they got to drive one of the current rarest car in the world and while their video production is not Top Gear quality it is good enough for us to ogle at the raging bull masterpiece.
