Whether or not she is paying for part of the instalment or not is not the point, but how much did she influence your decision on the car you are driving now? or your previous ride(s)?? Before the purchase my wifey will usually say something when I ask her for opinion .... but so far what I have bought were not always the exact models she prefered, but also not what she opposed..... except the OPC she uses now which is her first choice..... (so everytime she's angry with me over other matters, I will use the OPC as a shield, kekekekeee.....)

Or at least, got a solid target date on when that can happen. You see, right now, I'm driving my dad's car. A Camry. He changed car earlier this year, to a smaller, sportier but less practical car. But because his work nature, he still needs a bigger car to ferry people around sometime. Since I was also looking to buy a car (albeit a small, rundown, 2-3 year old 1.5-1.6 liter Jap car), he said to me 'hey, you use this first'. The situation's about to change......maybe mid or end of next year. So I can finally get a proper car that is properly suited for me (small, rundown, 2-3 year old 1.5-1.6 liter Jap car, heh). So, yes, finally, a real ride of my own. But can't really complain about the current situation. After all, paying just the road tax, insurance, petrol and parking for a Camry. But at least, with the small car, my FC, RT and INS really goes down a lot.

just received a phone call from them, saying that the valuation of my ride ranges from 8k to 12k. mine is a Malaysia made ride, savvy, 4yrs old with mileage of 38k. regular servicing with agent. so far, has anyone tried them? i understand the valuation of the ride will be like auction type whereby 150 car dealers will bid on it. i also understand the poor resale value of proton; Malaysia ride. so far, i only went to a car dealer for revaluation of my ride whereby he only quoted 8k... for his ride of 42k i believe my outstanding loan is still around 10k+, got my ride when interest rate was high... 3.2% if i shortlisted a ride that ranges around 42k with interest rate of 2.2%. am i correct to say, if i'm lucky to fetch 11k for my savvy. what is the total amount i'm looking at. sorry, new to such. need some valuable advise

My ride 05 civic based on SG fuel RON 92 - When RPM go above 3K the engine vibrating violently and will lag before picking up speed RON 95 - When RPM go above 3.5K the engine vibrating abit but will not lag when picking up speed. RON 98

Hi Guys, Need some advise on this, my ride is a 3 yrs old proton savvy which i just got it for nearly a month. Everything about this ride is good but the FC is just not up to its standard. Currently running 12.5k/L, compared to reviews by others, it said this car could reach 15K/L at urban least. I managed to improve my right leg power, initially was only 11K/L Apart from this, at low speed, this car do get some jerkiness at times. Overall, it's still a good ride and best, cheap and fall within my budget. I'm thinking of going JB this sat if anyone is keen. Heard from my friend, there's a shop call extra that sells a lot of car accessories and doing car mod at just fiction of the price. Said to patronize by a lot of Singaporeans, as I'm new to road, wonder if anyone is going there. I can tag along. Back to my car, i wonder if i should do anything to improve the ride better. Like having an air filter, change of spark plug. Which said to improve pick up, performance and better FC. Pls give me some valuable views, last by not least, I'm not those speedster.. I just want a better FC and pick up. And most important, a safety ride.

I went to About.com and they got some hints on how to teach kids ride a bike. I think Kianbeng's earlier idea of dismantling the pedals is a good one. Actually, we should buy a kid bike but as the shop uncle to remove the pedals. Yes. REMOVE THE PEDALS. Can add on later. Have the kid push the bike around as a toddler. Confirm will push both feet off and roll around. You have let your kid conquer the skill of balancing. For older kid, use this video. I find it very good. For adults also very good. The thing is to roll down first. Grass softer to land but if on hard ground, choose a place with a gentler gradient. Later you add pedaling, then straight line riding then turning.. All are documented here. http://www.ibike.org/education/teaching-kids.htm Of course there are some products if you all like to use. It is listed on the site. But trust me. The skirt wheels does not inspire confidence. The way I look at this program from iBike, 10 days is all it takes to ride a bike from human being aged 7-65.

HI all I am driving a second hand car and notice the ride is very bumpy. Is this considered soft or hard? Whenever i go through uneven road, u can feel the bumps. Sometimes it get so bad till i hear a loud 'clock-clock' sound when i go over something uneven even tho its not a huge hump. The current suspension i am using is cusco zero2r about 3 years already. However i sent the car to 2 workshops to check. One of the workshops also jack up the car to check for leaks. Another one test drive the car but both workshop said its fine. One of them wanted to sell me a rubber buffer to improve the ride but i am not sure if it would help. I suspect it could be the internal parts of the car like the toe arms or bushings. any bro here has any advice as to what is the problem ?

I saw 2 security guards riding motorcycle up and down a condo car park without any helmets on. I spoke to them and they replied - private porperty, traffic rules don;t apply here . Is it true? Means can ride harley up down without helmet and let the air fly liao and don;t need seat belts on also isit??
