Woke up 8am today and went down stairs wanting to wash my ride. Went downstairs, washing bay is full. Went for breakfast and return abt 10am, its again full with diff car. So decide to drop by my mum place to pass her some new year goodies. Came back 2pm washing bay also full, ppl polishing and waxing their ride at the washing bay. It seems like ppl only detail their ride during CNY. Anyone has the same experience as me?

need expert's advice on my current dilemna - to change my ride or continue with it? come late feb 09, my car will be 5-year old. mileage only at 70,000km. condition still good despite it being hit front and back several years ago. broke-even about 2 years ago and will get back about $8-10k if i sell the car now. current downpayment per month = $570, 7-year loan at 1.6%. stopped driving to work since changed job to city (traffic jams and lack of parking). only drive on fridays and weekends, and yes, i need a car to get around alot socially. several concerns - 1) should i change my ride cos it's reaching its 5-year mark? 2) will i lose more money if i continue with my ride? 3) is it true that if i sell my car in its 7-8th year, the financial situation remains the same as now? if i were to change my ride, i am planning a relatively "new" used car ie. about 1-year old or less. i just wanna be prudent and save up for other big-ticket expenses but dun know if keeping my ride is the way to go. i cant seem to find the excel spreadsheet posted a while ago which can tabulate the numbers to address some of my concerns. it can track how much i get back on a yearly basis. any help is most appreciated. thanks!

Hi guys.. especially for those who has the same ride, I will be servicing my ride for 90K and just wanna check for Vios, 2006 model, what kind of belting does it use? Is it on belt or chain.. I tried to check the manual but does not state anything. Maybe u bros can help me out? Thanks -
I'm thinking of lowering my stream and would like to seek some advise which after market suspension is better. I seldom do hard cornering so is mainly to enhance the look of the car. Any advise is much appreciated. Thanks.

D@mn lorri buang my ride. bery "sim tia". Today is the 15 day of its birth. *sob sob* Lorry turn at car park rear wheel hit my bumper and headlights. Driver nearly run away. I saw and chase after lorri. fellow brudders, I think next time car should install CCTV. These unethical drivers are getting too much these days. *sob *sob* Today saturday, insurance no open. Need to use car at least 6 trips a day. How to claim ? Can I take taxi and claim against the lorry ? (cos' difficult to rent car on weekend)

Picture taken by my handphone camera... Taken in MSCP after applying 521 only, i nv apply other stuffs but the effect is amazing. I nv get such nice reflective mirror finish from a QD before. Before QD is not like tat, difference really can be seen. Wanna take some pic of the whole car but MSCP very dark. Decided to bring it the the open to snap more pic but its drizzling in a rainy sunday afternoon. Hence no choice can only take some pics of the backside. Lastly thanks bro Benny for this poison.

Not the China made car Chery A380....but the Airbus A380... took a flight back from London on the 31st May.... It was a fantastic experience, all thanks to the attentive stewardesses, two of them, who were ever smiling and ensuring that I am get what I need, and just before the flight touched down, one of them even came to me and asked if everything was fine and that I had some sleep etc etc.... good service, they deserve a pat on their backs.... too bad, I could not see them when disembarking, wanted to say thanks to them. I will send a feedback to SQ praising them..... Anyways, at London, SQ flight check in at E Terminal 3, ..... Check in line for economy is long well of course with the increase number of passengers, so if you are a Business or Suite Class, PPS or Star Gold, you are more fortunate as the lines for those counters are normally empty...

Esp those who works indoor and parks the car in Basement carpark all the time... Do you bring ur car out for a SUN- BAKE session once every few weeks? Reason is that the NOON or Afternoon SUN will Kill all insects, and esp Moulds and spores that grow rapidly in humid environment... around nooks and crannies ... air cond duct, filters, fabrics ...etc

Yesterday i was shocked to find 4-5 new scratches on the same exact spot of a deep scratch by some bxxxxxd 2 months back. The scratches this time are fine, messy but very light, i tried polish liao but to no avail... the scratches still quite obvious as 4-5 of them r quite close to each other thus making that area of scratches obvious. possible its inflicted by the same bxxxxxd. but who knows.. might be some students or kids cos my house jus right beside a school n everyday these kids hav to walk pass my ride to take bus... i jus hope the vandal get fingernails cancer (got such thing anot? haa) or his finger chronic skin rot (like foot rot)! Anyway went to HomeFix yesterday n found this http://www.formula1wax.com/html/rubbingCompounds.htm the photo on the cover very impressive leh... not sure if it works. so if any bros here use it before, can advice? Cos i read bout ScratchX... some say good some say cannot work... That door kena scratch 2 times, i dun mind try this rubbing compound, if it screw my paint, gives me more excuse to respray LOL
