Hey guys, I noticed that my rims are getting "dull" looking, not shiny anymore... do you have the same problem? I've been washing them with just shampoo but recently found that the color are turning abit matte and its not smooth to the touch anymore. Do you know of any rims cleaner that can bring back the shine? Thanks ahead for the recommendations!

any opinions on factory stock 14" alloys? other then the appearance.... i duno... some friends said that the original alloys that comes with the car are the most durable. any value for trade in?

Hi, There are few scratches on the my car's rims that were collected over the years. And I am now exploring the possibility of hands-on and DIY to repair them. Intent to do something like applying putty, smooth sanding then respray. Does any one have experience to share? Or should I just send the car to repair shop? BTW the rims are typical 5 spokes type, shiny silver in colour, a bit chrome. Thanks.

i was offered my 16inch rims with about a month old 95% tires at least to swopped with a 17inch with 40% left tires. All these without any cash top up from neither party. is it worth it. For myself I am looking for a 17inch rim set though. Please advise me...

Hi there ppl, need your advices. I have just changed my brake pad for the front tyres and I am having a lot of break dust. In the past, I used Armouroil rim cleaner but it seems that it had stripped some of my lacquer off my rims and I have stopped using them since then. In the past when using the rim cleaner, my rims did not get dirty that fast. Any suggestions on what type of rim cleaner that I should use to prevent this dust break from accumulating? Better if have pictures and inform me where to find the product and etc.. Frequency of washing car is once a week, and self wash. Thanks.

Hi all, Recently i was looking around at Carrefour, i saw this product where it claims that after washing your rims, you apply the item on the rims, it repels brake dust and dirt. I was wondering if anyone tried such a product before? My car's brake dust is tremendous, 1 drive out and my rims are filled with them
