I came across a brand of rims called 'Forged'. Very literal. Not sure if the rims are actually cast or forged. Very curious about this brand as I cannot find anything about it online. Is there anyone who knows any info on this brand of rims?

I recently changed a set of rims from a workshop. i was assured that the set of rims i have chosen PCD 5 x 113 are able to fit my ride of PCD 5 x 112 after which after fixing, i felt the right front wobbling ... despite wobble nuts and fitting center ring...

Hi: Advice needed. Currently my Jap sedan (Nissan Slyphy) car is on stock 195/60/r16. Other than petrol increase, will there be any other impact if I will change to the above R17 rim & tires? Thank you!

Bros.. My Camry currently running on Cerato Forte's rims.. with Maxxis Victra Assymetric M35 tyres.. I find it quite good.. very hard sidewall.. cornering good.. but quite noisy.. Clocked in 21,000km.. Now I am very tempted to up to 18 or 19" rims.. and tyres.. looking at CSC3 or P Zero.. Any bros can advice.. P.S Rims : 114.3x5 And can I use other cars' stock rims? E.G. new GS350 , M6 etc/

Hi there, 1. I'm wondering whether I could upgrade my default 15" rims and tyres to 16" for my 04 Civic. There is no mention of the car compatibility with 16" except 15" and 14" in the owner manual . 2. How much should I budget for a set of 4 rims and tyres? Being new to changing rims, what should I look for when I shop for them? Which are the mainstream brands from Japan, europe and america? 3. Would 16" provides better road holding and stability at the expense of fuel economy and noises? Kindly advise and Thank you very much. Regards,

hi, what's the usual procedure when u buy rims and want it spray-painted? u pay up, bring them to spray-painting shop to be done, then bring back to rim shop to fit tyres ... or just let them handle everything also can hor. any1 knows the usual charges per rim or set for spraying, and any particular disadvantages of a sprayed rim? i suppose upon rubbing, the paint comes off and underneath colour can be seen. so best is to start with a similar-toned colour before spraying?

Hi guys, I'm a newbie to cars and am looking for some help from all you professionals in this forum. I apologize in advance if I ask stupid questions. Recently me and my dad decided to purchase the harrier as a family car and we would be interested to change a set of rims. My current set is 17 inch, 225/65/R17. I have a couple of questions I hope you guys could help me answer. What is the maximum rim size I can upsize to? What is the recommended size I upsize to? I checked the calculator for the tire size if I actually upsize to 19 inch, is the calculator reliable? What are good rim colors to fit the pearl white harrier? What brands do you guys recommend? From what I read, ppl recommend bbs, enkei, rays, vossen etc. they also said some brands like ssw are not reliable because of the way they are made? May I know how much would my rims and tires be worth if I trade them in immediately when I get the car? Lastly, may I know where is good to check out rims? I really want to see the rays(volks) but I would love to see a wide variety at awesome prices. Thank you very much for taking the time to reply and sorry for asking so many questions.

Hi All, I will be getting my Sunny soon. I does not come with sports rim. I would like to change it to sport Rim & Quiet tyre. I am new to Rims & Tyres. Any recommendations? I have a tight buget of $500. Does you guys think I can get a 14" Rim and tyre with that amount? I will trade in the stock tyres. Cheers

hi. my dad felt itchy one day and bought a new set of rims for my ride which i didnt like.. i couldn't get my $$$ refunded as well as my stock rims returned because the boss wasnt keen. all i could do was to find another set of rims at the shop which looked nicer than the one my dad chose.. damn. the thing is, i have looked around and it seems that newer designs nowadays are chrome, dark chrome or black chrome usually. those silver / polished metal also will have something dark or black. mine is half polished metal, half black spray painted (9 spokes). (the spokes are polished metal.. the side of the spokes where brake dust is usually found is black). i would like to keep the polished metal untouched and spray paint the black to silver.. can be done right? any lobangs? no point getting new rims, this is a new set but to any other rims shop, it's considered 2nd hand and only worth 200+.. zzz. thanks in advance. one day im gg to change my dad's rims when he's not around.

Been looking to get a good set of 2nd hand rims. Been told to look out for cracks, warps, signs of welding etc... is it also advisable to bring it to a tire shop for balancing before purchasing ? any recommendations or tips ?

Hi guys I'm doing a little research for my next ride. Thinking of changing the rims and keeping the tires to maintain the comfort and cost down. The dimensions (gathered from internet) for the Forester FNA rims and tires are as follows: Tire 225/60R 17 Rim 7J x 17 ET48 PCD 5 x100 Center Bore 56.1mm Any recommendations or advice on the rims and shops? And what's the average cost per rim? Thanks a lot!

I planning to upgrade my rim size to 19" ( frm 18 ) kana sot by the vossen cv3 chrome rim, getting the replica 1 as only replica avail in 19 and original 1 shld be kan pua expensive lol. Any recommended tyres for street driving with good wet grip? My prev car on 15/16" so popular tyres for me was toyo t1r etc, but fren told me big tyres mostly another level ( price also another level ) Was thinking to do "staggered" as car is RWD so behind put wider. heard mark X very prone to fishtail even when driving normal speed so hoping wider tyres can grip well.
