Just to share an incident sometime back... Sometime back, I went to the famous prawn noodle shop near Katong, most cars parked along the roadside or at the back along those private houses. As i was eating, i saw two young guys going toward their cars, parked along the roadside (one WRX in front, the other brand new ferrari behind white WRX)...Guess both of them are friends as they both start their cars.... The WRX make a U-turn right from his parallel parking slot into the opposite side, WAH pretty impressive on the sharp turn with tyre squezziggg sound... Next follow by the ferrari.....BUT....he did not check for in coming vehicle and try to go into the opposite lane...and BOOOMMMM into the rear side door of a Sunny..... Sunny driver stop at one side, checking his damage door....wah...quite bad... The ferrari right front headlight in pieces...the young driver get out and shake his head looking at his headlight..... In such a short move, either the sunny is driving quite fast or the ferrari house power damn good......such a spectular incident...the WRX came back to give moral support for his friend.... Or bi good to the ferrari driver is the only word i can think of while enjoying my meal. Pity the Sunny driver....bo tai bo chi kana this kind of thing on a weekend morning..But at least it not kana bang by cheap car...

hi all, i hv juz got my chevy aveo sedan 2 (24 Jun) days and my i juz passed m driving license 30 Jun. juz to find out did any of you ever felt frightened when on the road in busy locations. i felt pressured and stressed out when taxi drivers started horning when you are slow. make me doubt that i can be a good driver. :( hope u can share some of the experiences as a new driver. dumbfounded ...

Environment: Condition of the road, wet after light-moderate rain. Tyre Condition: New, at least after 4000km, to 80-90% thread. Scenario:At traffic light, you prod the gas to accelerate, does your wheel spin before it regain traction?

I saw this beaufiful RX7 Efini (FD3 I believe) at Telok Blangah SPC Station undergoing hand wash by the Bangla just 20 minutes ago while walking my husky. It was beautifully kitted with big beautiful rims (looks like 18 inchers to me). To the owner ---> if you happen to be in this forum... you have one fanfokkingtastic tastefully done up sports car! Very nice and I was standing there admiring it until you walked up. Sorry if I offended you in any way. Very nice car!

Chromas would be elated wid this... Cabbies gettin daring hor these few days A CABBY who admitted slashing the face of another during a road rage attack was jailed for six months yesterday. Comfort taxi driver Quah Wee Tee, 56, had used a pair of scissors to slash CityCab driver Wong Oi Wan, 50, on the morning of June 9. Yesterday, a district court heard that the attack was almost similar to another road rage incident in October last year, when cabby Chan Kim Kam, 51, was stabbed in the stomach when he confronted a motorist who sounded the horn at him on the road. In the latest incident, Quah slashed Mr Wong after confronting him for sounding his horn at him along Grange Road. Mr Wong had sounded the horn when Quah stopped his taxi suddenly on the road, without switching on his hazard lights. He then overtook Quah's cab and drove in the direction of Tanglin Road. Quah tailed him and tried to overtake him twice, but Mr Wong refused to let him do so. Quah pulled alongside Mr Wong's taxi when both stopped at the traffic junction of Tanglin Road and Margaret Drive. He walked to Mr Wong's taxi, opened the door and slashed him on the face before driving off in his vehicle. Mr Wong reported the attack to the police, who arrested Quah. Quah could have been jailed for up to a year and fined a maximum of $1,000.

I seen many drivers on the road using hp be in calling or SMS. even with the 12dem pts and heavy fine. this was often seen on the road. can we use camera or hp take photo and give to the police? will they chap or not?

Just came back from Penang with my kalos. Highest speed hit 160km/h but it took a damn long time to hit this speed. Was in this road trip with a friend driving a Honda Jazz. Can't follow up with him. And there's lots of Aveo and Optra there. Most of the aveo with bodykit.

Aveo vs Accent vs Echo vs Forenza (Optra to us) http://www.mpt.org/motorweek/reviews/rt2324.shtml The Americans like the Forenza (Optra) which is marketted under Suzuki. Chevrolet only has the Aveo 1.6 and don't seem to push it much. So those with Optras looking for performance upgrades and stuff, better search for Forenza in eBay. The Forenza engine is bigger and better. 2.0L 16V churning out 119HP. If searching for parts for Aveo, can search for it as Suzuki Swift+ . Bloody GM and their chapalang names for cars!

It was around 11pm just now that I was sending my girlfriend and her family home. I was driving along Mandai Road, headed west towards the BKE. I saw police cars and barriers and flashing lights. All the cars were going to Lane One and as we drove by, we saw a white body-bag. Driving a little bit further, we saw a body pinned under a bus Quite a number of cars were stopped along the left lane after the accident sight. Very sad sight.

Road hogging ?? What is road hogging ??? anyone care to give some definition ?? is it as long as you block someone..then you are consider road hogging? If yes, can i drive on the left lane and honk all the van and lorry because they are hogging me?? or if I travelling too slow say on the right of the expressway well below the legal limit of 90 then i'm consider road hogging ???

I was driving my Vios to work today and there was a massive jam just after the Farrer Road/Queensway McDonalds. At the roundabout exit towards Queensway, I saw a bike on the floor, with medics attending to the fellow. A Mitsubishi Galant had hit the bike. Hope the rider is ok. My passenger was commenting to me that the Galant driver was sitting inside his car reading newspaper while the medics were attending to the rider.

Hi guys, wonder if u saw the news, a ah pek drove a Jaguar and crash into the whole stretch of metal roader divder !!! The force is so great that it sent a whole lot of metal bars flying towards the opposite traffic !! Wah lau, very surprise the engine didnt collapse inwards, what strenght man !!

hello...this thread will sound abit proud....but hope i dun sound show off...well..this was what happened. (2 incidents) 1st incident: Driving along that teeny weeny lane going into Holland Village, car park was packed to max and traffic was crawling...i thought i saw a snail overtake my car. well, then this couple walking on the road across..Guy was admiring my ride and got caught by me....Immediately a smile lit up his face and his thumb was up in a flash too.."Cool!" he exlamined. 2nd incident:Driving along farrer road towards adam road. This electric blue good looking 350Z Fairlady was on the same route as me for quite awhile..Finally we were side by side at a traffic light...heh..again i causually turn to admire his ride...The driver was doing the same to mine too...and this time...he looked abit pai seh that he was kanna caught, heh...but he gave a sheepish smile and the thumb came up too! Well, i dunno...i never thought such an old car will get so much open appreciation on the roads. I mean i have fellow friends who have Mini Coops and Silvia S15s and the likes, but none has really had any OPEN appreciation from public before. Makes me kind of smile. and my GF even made me a special limited edition TRUENO organiser!!! haha.. so sweet Makes me feel that my hard earned money had not gone to waste on this old man. Hope he has many more good years to come.
