I'm planning to upgrade my current rotors to either slotted or drilled, but after reading so much I still cannot decide which is better. What is your take guys? Wanna see what are the response here before getting it.

Hi, Has anyone had this problem regarding this on their aveo5 and i got my car only about two weeks ago,within 5 days i when back to replace my disk rotor and brake pad. They response back to me was that a stone might had went in to it or due to your design of your sport rim and they also mention is outside their warrantly when you do not use their Rims.Only by looking at your disk rotor without taking out the wheels or inspects further. Anyway,after some e-mailing to the Service Manager he asked down to had it check and they found some like metal chips inside the brake pad and manage to replace it for free,But i still got this problem back again after replace it for two days only,but this time is not ask bad you had seen in the attachment,slighty groove on the disk rotor. Pls advise. Thanks Dicky

I would like to upgrade my brake system in my new Civic when i get it mid of feb... Thing i would like to do is to change the brake line into steel braided one n change to larger rotor with red colour four pot caliper... Will it affect my car warranty?? any suggestion or feedback on the workshop which does this n recommended brake system? -
Time to replace my baby's badly worn out disc rotors and brake pads. I'll be collecting my new disc rotors from Korea, and using Mintex Silverline. Anyone knows of a cheap reliable workshop for the job? I gather it should cost around S$80.

How do you run in the brakes after the rotors have been skimmed and new pads installed? Thanks!

Just kinda curious...does the brake rotor size matters? Cos i have been looking at japanese made 2000cc cars..and their rotors are reali so small...kinda doubt their braking ability...whereas mondeo's rotor size is huge at 300mm front and 280mm back..which i tink shld be powerful brakes?please comment

i notice that my brake rotor surface seem abit rough... i know that there is something trimming of the brake rotor surface make it smooth... but anyone know whether is it advisable??? ? ?
