  1. Hi all, I have met the Sales Manager of Czech Auto at a Skoda roadshow recently. I have voiced out to him some of our concerns with regards to CA's level of after-sales service. He is very receptive to our comments and has urged us to consolidate any grievances and highlight to him. I will be keen to oversee this liaision between SOG and CA. I have also asked him whether there is any possibility for prospective buyers to secure a better deal for new Skoda purchases. He told me that it is possible for him to work out something for the new car pricing. However for the freebies, it is purely between the SE and the buyer. If you are aware of any prospective Skoda buyers, I can help you liaise with him. Hopefully they stand to gain a better deal. PM me if you need further info.
  2. Hey, Got an email from Autovox stating a Grand Annual sales this weekend from 16-18th Sept. Just a little extract: This year AutoVox will be holding its much anticipated Annual Sale at 9/9A Lok Yang Way from the 16-18th of September 2005, from 9 am -6 pm. Anyone going?
  3. I would like to express my utter disappointment in Cycle n Carriage merz after sales service. About 2 weeks ago, i made an online booking for my ride's first 10,000km servicing. And in that booking, i clearly stated that i needed some parts change as there's some water sepage into my side indicator lights whenever it rains. I also said that i wanted my car to be serviced at their UBI centre. (The actual service date that i asked for was 1 week from the day i made the online booking). The next day, a customer rep from their Pandan Loop centre called me to verify my online booking and the other details. On the actual service day, i arrived at UBI bright and early and guess what, the sales rep at the front counter had no idea what i was there for! NEVERMIND. I explained to her about my online booking and she then directed me to the service rep. I asked if he had any information about my service booking and he just gave me a blank look. Since he had no information whatsoever, he obviously didn't know that i also needed a parts change too. As such, he said they needed to order the parts and told me to come back again the next day to get it changed!! Lastly, after i collected my car at the end of the day, it was not washed or cleaned at all! I know for a fact that PML washes all BMW's that get sent there for whatever minor/major jobs, so why can't Merz benz do the same! If this was an AH BENG workshop, i wouldn't be surprised at all....but we are talking about MERCEDES BENZ here!that was the final straw. Information flow was atrocious! The sole reason for me to make my booking 1 week in advance was to avoid something like this from happening. Obviously none of my online booking information was sent to UBI. I can see now why BMW is selling more cars than Merz. Car for Car wise, both are equally as good. However, what gives BMW the edge....is their after sales service.
  4. Hi guys, Just wanna get somethings off my chest. Just sharing hor, don't flame ah... Am driving a 1.6 oct amb now. No complaints. Fantastic car. Solid round the bends, great pick up, just got my front springs lowered about an inch by Dennis (Servo) *great guy that man, real expert* (makes hell of a difference round corners) blah blah blah... But one thing really bugs me... The service from CA. One day, while getting my car washed, realised that the door rubber seal had come apart. Note come apart hor, not tear or crack. Called Samo (Service Tech at CA) and you know what he told me to do? Glue it back!!! I mean come on... it's a manufacturer's defect and the car's only 8 mths old... He din even bother to ask me to go in and take a look... "liam toh tng lor" was all he said before hanging up... wah lau... Then recently, my remote did not work... red light on the key kept flashing... Called him again, this time, he outdid himself again... He told me to open the key up myself and check for loose connections. And what happens if I accidentally dropped something inside? Become my fault lah!!!? His comments really hit hard man... Been feeling like changing the car since then... If not because I stand to loose an obscene amount if I sell now, (plus the fact I really love the car) I'd have thrown the car back in his face... Sorry for getting so emotional. Hope you guys out there have better luck with CA's Aftersales than I had... cheers, eugene
