  1. is it true that a pure 2 seater coupe (MX5) insurance is higher that a 4 seater coupe (audi TT)?
  2. Any comment on the new 1.6L suzuki APV ? Anyone test driven ?
  3. All 3 cars are selling at around the 125K range, which will you go for ? I think Opel Insignia will be priced out. ( worst since they are not bringing in the sports tourer, which I think looks much better than the sedan) I saw the car, it's good but I dont think good enough as it's priced at 128K.. For practicality, I will go for the Superb 2 estate... For the wow factor, I will go for the passat cc 5 seater. The only thing against the passat cc 5 seater is the fact I would prefer a car more suitable for a family with 2 young child. I think it's still possible, but of course a large sedan or estate version should be better. Also, the passat has omv of around 29K, and the SE told me the cc will be marked up by ~ 5k compared with the 4 seater version. Too much profit margin for them!! and we already know in Europe the difference bet the 5 and 4 seater version is only 100 Euro !! But the passat cc really looks I think the superb 2 estate ( coming in this month ) will be the best value for money. Good spec, practical and looks not too bad but of course the opel insignia sports tourer will win hands down on the look department. So, which will you guys go for?
  4. Anyone driving this car? Care to share your review?
  5. Very nice ride, anypne care to share..etc fuel consumption The Exiga is a full-size seven seater and the estimated starting price is about $85,000 for the base model,' 'The 2.0 turbo will be about $10,000 more and it will have a panoramic glass roof.' TB- 225HP NA-148HP
  6. Greetings Everyone, Currently considering either Santa Fe or CX-7... Santa Fe's 7 seater is a good plus point for long haul trips to Msia whilst CX-7's turbo is something I would like to experience. Any other recommendations?
  7. Hi all, anyone can give their experience opinion about most best value for 7-8 seater mpv at this momment? so far I interest for: - proton exora. but after test drive, hm.., not feel good. - citroen grand C4. test drive, feel good, but high price. something i like from C4 is low road tax if I buy it as OPC, say compare to stream or wish. - daihatsu terios 7 seater, is it worth to buy daihatsu brand? Thanks for any reply/ recommend
  8. STS posted an advertisement in ST today on their new model : 1.5L Full size 7-seater MPV at $66k. Anyone knows what model will it be cos it only shows the shadow.
  9. I'm considering a MPV and need help from you guys. I'm looking at a wide range like KIA Carens, Opel Zafira, Citroen C4 Grand Picasso and VW Touran. Price range quite similar except for Carens. All 7-seater vehicles. My requirement is big boot space (even when 7 seats are used up), many hidden compartments (great for storing things), good power for pickup and overtake, good braking effect (not spongy type where you need a while to stop the vehicle), lastly the practical FC. Please advise your opinions on all above 4 cars. Cheers!
  10. I am considering the above. I went for a test drive and it felt good. Downside is I don't see a lot of Citerons on the road. Does that translate into higher cost of maintenance or a low resale value? As this is my first step towards getting a conti car, what relevant questions should I be asking the SE (a more detailed session)?

  12. Hi guys, Toyota and Daihatsu have released a new compact 7-seater much like the Toyota Sienta, however it does not have sliding doors. http://paultan.org/archives/2008/12/26/toy...v-full-details/ What do you think of this compared to the Sienta? Do you think this is a replacement for the Sienta or a different model altogether? The car's head unit has an interesting feature, it can actually rip audio files from your music CD and store it as data files on its on-board flash storage so you dont have to bring your CDs around in you car.
  13. Source: http://paultan.org/archives/2007/08/30/new...d-7-seater-suv/ Toyota has launched a new JDM-only SUV for the Japanese market called the Toyota Vanguard. Two engine options are available - a 170 PS 2.4 liter 2AZ-FE mated to a Super-CVT-i continuously variable transmission, and a top of the range 280 PS 3.5 liter 2GR-FE V6 mated to a 5-speed Super ECT gearbox. The inline-4 engine makes 224Nm of torque at 4,000rpm while the V6 puts out 344Nm of torque at 4,700rpm. All variants come with Toyota

  15. We all seen the gold SsangYong Rodius/Stavic taxis. Stavic is selling in Singapore as 7 seater or 9 seater, 2WD or 4WD. I just found out it can be a 11 seater too, and not too bad going offroad compare to other MPVs. Who says we must drive bus/van to carry more people, or SUV to go offroad? http://smotor.kiev.ua/models_line/stavic/photo/ http://glassguide.goauto.com.au/mellor/mel...A256F720073470F
